Today we celebrate the 1^st decade of SCORPIONS sixteenth studio album Humanity: Hour I. Humanity: Hour 1 is a concept album based on a loose storyline by producer Desmond Child and futurist Liam Carl, which predicts a world torn apart by a civil war between humans and robots.

The 50th Anniversary attracts illustrious guests from five continents.

Well-known journalists from twelve countries and five continents have paid a visit to the SCOPRIONS tonight to celebrate the 50th band anniversary. The international journalists include representatives from Hollywood Reporter, Billboard Magazine, Rolling Stone (India), Metal Hammer (Greece), amongst others were invited by the Foreign Office to the German conveyor system of rock, Pop, Jazz of the “Initiative Musik gemeinnützige Projektgesellschaft mbH“ to get to know the German music scene at its roots.

The meet & greet and conversations with the Scorpions at the dinner were no doubt the highlight of the tour for the journalists from India, the United States, Bangladesh, Russia, Romania, South Africa, the Philippines, Scotland and Finland. “This evening with Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs will not be surpassed. We know two German names in San Salvador – Scorpions and the FC Bayern” states Saúl Merino Urlas from San Salvador. The band had especially interrupted their world tour for this appointment with the journalists. After the concerts in England the band performs in Finland on 31^st July and then to North America, which kicks off on September 10^th in Boston.
