From the ashes of a divided post-war Germany, three friends form a band determined to conquer the world with a message of peace—through the power of rock ’n’ roll. To reach the global stage, they vow to sing only in English, daring to break into the American and British hard rock scene. Ridiculed at home for rejecting their own language and distrusted abroad for their nation’s dark past, they answer with a defiant motto: “Our fathers brought tanks— we bring guitars.” Their resolve is pushed to the limit when their friend Andrej is arrested in Soviet-controlled East Germany. With no other weapon but their music, the band risks everything to play across the Berlin Wall, facing their greatest enemy in the hope of proving that a new generation of Germans brings not war, but harmony.
