On this day in 1948 amid the rubble of post WW II Germany a future star of Rock & Roll, Peace, Love and a world Under the Same Sun was born. Klaus Meine has given all and more with his beautiful lyrics and God given voice. I for one am forever grateful and truly honoured to have lived during his time. I've waited in line at record stores for album releases and at concert venues for tickets. And would do it all again for the privilege of hearing Klaus and his band! SCORPIONS ROCK THE WORLD FOREVER!

Lieber Klaus, herzlichen Glรผckwunsch zum Geburtstag. Ich habe Euch erstmals im Jahre 1979 in Ulm gesehen als Vorgruppe von Genesis. Heute wรคre das umgekehrt, Ihr als Hauptgruppe. In Hannover war ich oft, meine Ex-Frau hat dort bei Solvay gearbeitet, ich in Verden.

Your music appeals to everyone and it's like, immortal. My mom was a big fan of yours when she was a teenager and here I am now as her daughter and a fan. She used to sing "Wind of Change" as a lullaby to me when I was 3 years old or something. We love listening to your masterpieces, thank you!
