On this day in 1948 amid the rubble of post WW II Germany a future star of Rock & Roll, Peace, Love and a world Under the Same Sun was born. Klaus Meine has given all and more with his beautiful lyrics and God given voice. I for one am forever grateful and truly honoured to have lived during his time. I've waited in line at record stores for album releases and at concert venues for tickets. And would do it all again for the privilege of hearing Klaus and his band! SCORPIONS ROCK THE WORLD FOREVER!

Lieber Klaus, herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag. Ich habe Euch erstmals im Jahre 1979 in Ulm gesehen als Vorgruppe von Genesis. Heute wäre das umgekehrt, Ihr als Hauptgruppe. In Hannover war ich oft, meine Ex-Frau hat dort bei Solvay gearbeitet, ich in Verden.
Klaus, Du bist jetzt 70 Jahre alt und immer noch ein weltweit beliebter Rocker, wie Deine Jungs auch. Macht doch einmal einen Song zum Thema, daß man in der Industrie ab 50 zum alten Eisen gehört. Ich bin jetzt 60, ich habe überhaupt keine Chance mehr auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, das bedeutet Hartz IV.
