Well Kate, as for some hungarian pronounciation: I don't know.
You know it is different thing to hear a language from "outside", and "inside".
In hungary we use nicknames, I mean, not really call each other's total name.
It is the reason I like Gabi, instead of Gabriella, and it is the reason to tel Magdi instead of Magdolna.
If you were Hungarian, you would call as: Kati.

Hey, I like your ideas of your subjects.
If I were you, I would choose Thomas Mann.
I like his works very much.
Kaffka, and Brecht are also interesting, but I prefer Mann.
Anyway, in my opinion you could find much more about him than about the other two, but it is just a thought.

Hi everybody! Another desperate paper-writer here.

The only place that seems more helpful is the bibliotheke of the university of Düsseldorf, Germany. Aua..

I have absolutely no idea where I can find statistics of barter transactions in international trade. I tried Russian Gosstat, Eurostat, UNCTAD and what not, but found only estimations. Oh my! Why did I choose this topic?

But, back to celebrations, my plans are much more humble compared to yours. I'm only going to celebrate my best friend's birthday (Nov 26th, but she sheduled it to 1st Dec so that everyone could come), and then my dad's birthday on 22nd Dec.
So now I'm in a desperate search for gifts. My friend is studying for a sewing technologist, so I was thinking that something connected with pins and needles would be appropriate. Alas, the only thing I found was a porcelain thimble.

Hey girls, my yesterday was really fantastic.
First I went to my hairdresser.
She has a college, who's name is Erzsébet, it's the hungarian variation of Elizabeth.
Her nameday is tomorrow, so she was so kind to offer all guests, not just her ones, but my hairdresser's guests also.
So, I also got some pieces of homemade preccless, it was yummy, a cup of delicious fruittea, it was an unique type, and a cup of coffee, too.

Then went to my sister's.
We had a lot of funn together, the pizza was yummy, my sis had made desert, too.

Galya, when I graduated some years ago, I had all summer long to do my final work. All summer long I did nothing, just postponing and postponing ( I have this bad quality to leave everything for the very last moment). Then, the very final date was 4 january, so I was writting the last chapter during the Christmas celebrations and yes, that`s the worst thing on planet So, do it now and relax all December long!

Naaah! No way! they are too young to retire!!! I said it all!!! and, after all, I think it won't be to hard for them to play just a several songs for us..we really don't ask much... - just to come to Gabi's house, and to attend a FOS meeting in the warm family athmosphere... and, besides, they will have such a unique chance to taste the things that Gabi's sister cooks..mmm.. I think they can't resist such a proposal for sure!

I more than adore your idea, and would be happy to organize a Fos-convention in my flat, inviting our Scorps, too, but:
Just to see some simple facts clearly:

My "house" is a flat indeed, the whole is 54 squarefeet, including the bathroom, and toalet also.
I don't have too many chairs, and armchairs to sit, okay, we could sit on a doublebed in the livingroom, + on my doublebed in the bedroom, oh, and there are places on the parketfloor as well, I know.
I could ask some chairs from the naighborhood,, so there aren't problems, just solutions, as our Rudolf says, and what a wise statement!

And, I should discuss with some quite friendly, but old naighbours if they didn't mind an acoustic concert.

Ok, but never mind Fosers, these all are my probs not yours.

Yeah my friends, having fun and charging with positive energy is the main thing that I love in this forum. Here I can distract from my life probs, even have a good friends' advice and support, or just fool around, "..exchange my problems for some love..." I can't stop thanking the God and the Destiny that brought me here one day, and really changed my life! Here I purchsed so many wonderful friends - all of you! REAL friends, not just virtual images - and it's just amazing! Thanks to all of you I started working on myself, trying to reach your level, and yep I made some improvements . So thus the forum became an integral part of my life, that why I'm really sad to know that so many good fosers have left the forum - Adriana, Len, ...., and now Ben ...still hope they will come back someday . I absolutely share your feelings about the forum Nadia, and Curry.
I have a comparation in my head:
This kind of "I am leaving the forum" thing is like nowadays somany hungarians choose the theoreticly easyer solution, leave the country, and go abroad, to the richer countries to work in hope of a better salary, and because "it is, and that is so bad, so negative in my country."
Just we always say with my best friend if everyone will leave Hungary, who will stay, and help to change the country a better place?
Will the very last hungarian switch off the lights, and close the gate of the country, or what?
It is my feeling about the forum, too.
