Thank you so much for your time. In fact I needed help both on tone settings and playing. Upon your advices, I have been searching for the most appropriate tone for this instrumental. And here are my findings:
I put distortion (45%) with no saturation at all. And I put also some reverb (35%) with standard mixing ratio i.e. 50%
These are the best settings that my ears could get. So please feel free to add your comments to tweak them even more.
In the other hand, I had a hard time cuz I worked it on the melody as in F ... But now I'm having it in E minor like you said and it's obviously sounds way better
However, I still got an issue... I need more sustain... is there a way to get more of it on my playing or is it because of my old guitar that lacks of it?
By the way, is the whole track was played by Rudolph alone?
As far as I know, the "bridge" i.e. the fast part at 1:30 up to 2:06 was played by Matthias as the word "Concerto" would suggest.
Whenever I listen to this instrumental, for me, I imagine it's an incredible cruise across out space and the sounds of the (two?) guitars that converse (concerto?) are like jumping from one space ship to another!
At least, that's how I built my mental picture to play this song
Again, thank you so much for your valuable tips, they helped me so much... I am on the right path to learn this masterpiece because of you
