Some of you may remember me by my old s/n ScorpionsFanInSacramento. That s/n for some reason isnt able to log in anymore, so I made this new s/n. I have had the please of meeting many fans over the years, and have been a life long Scorpions die hard. To me they will always be the BEST. The main reason their music touches me is because my big brother loved the scorpions, they were his favorite band. He was a part of their fan club back in the 80s. Would tell me about their concerts (since I was too young to attend), and even got me a drumstick signed by Herman. And their music is something we will always share. Also one of the main reasons I go to every Scorps concert I can. I grew up with their music, and now its passed it onto my kids.
for these reasons the scorpions are very special to me, and always will be #1 in my book. My brother, Jessy Chima was killed in a tragic sequence of events. I want to share to the following story, as well as a link at the bottom of this post to a article I wrote for him, which was recently published in a local newspaper.
Jessy Chima was 22 years old when he was driving home in the early morning hours of January 18th, 1992. Driving South on CA-99, for reasons unknown Jessy' s pickup lost control and hit the center oleander bushes. Causing the pickup to flip over and land on its roof. Jessy survived this crash and was able to exit his pickup truck. He grabbed quarters possibly to get to a phone and safety, as well a his crowbar. Possibly for his self-defense against possible foul play due to the crash. Moments later he was struck by 1 or more vehicles and killed. This all took place near Galt, CA which is right outside of Sacramento. The CHP investigators stated a puzzling lack of evidence left at the scene. No debris, no skid marks, no indication of any vehicle damage. They labeled this as very mysterious. They suspected possibly a big rig truck has hit Jessy. However no leads came about. And the only witness at the scene, a big rig truck driver, stated he watched two small vehicles hit Jessy. None of the information of the events leadings to Jessy's death add up. There is significant information missing. Someone has the answers, hopefully we can find them. Please read this following artilce recently posted in a local newspaper, any help in getting this story back out to the public is greatly appreciated.
