before travelling to Germany, I was sad because I won't see the show, now it hurts even more as Munich is an awesome city where I would love to go back again..and im sure I will, maybe soon but not as soon as 2 months! :(
for those who haven't been there yet, get ready for a blast!! :)

Many ppl confirmed they want but just half of them did the great "effort" to give the needed info. Sorry, but if I do not send the project asap, we`ll all remain without them, cause the fabric can`t do them in time..

See ya there, the gift bags are going to be... WOW  So, at least try to answer Joanne`s question, ppl..

I shared with Curry what I am putting in the gift bags (well not everything, she has to be surprised too!) so I think she approves!

Yes - I will have to admit although I'm REALLY excited about this (actually can't wait - it's next month - WOOHOO!), I am disappointed in having to chase people down. I know everyone is busy with school, work, life, concerts, walking their dog, etc. But really is it too hard to send in your confirmation that you will go?

I sent everyone on Facebook who said they were going or maybe going a message and not even half responded. Then I posted in the event numerous times - and those people remain silent. Now I'm forced to write on those people's Facebook to see if I can get their attention. I want people to go and to share this with your friends who might want to go - but gosh darnit answer me! :)

This event WILL BE GREAT and in the end all this trouble will be forgotten and I even understand that English is not the language everyone speaks - but this is becoming quite umm rude to just not respond to things. :(

The scarves will rock our socks off too! :)

Joanne dear,
You know how I love, and respect you, and appreciate your hard work for the convention.
However, this sartastic note from your anger about dogwalking wasn't too nice, and fair.
You can't know others' lives, situations.

Let's see a simple example:
One of my great friend - Krisztián Lukács -, has two absolutely full jobs, a wife, and two little daughters.
If a day consisted of 48 hours instead of 24, it wouldn't be enough either for him.

Emilie/Emilie Pain moved to Spain not long ago.
She started a total new life with her boyfriend, an university with obligations.
It was just 2 examples.
Please, be careful not to turn on the opposite side of the horse, as hungarian say.
I know that you also have a hard job, but you are single, and you are online almost all day long.
Not everyone can say it about themselves.
Forgive me my friend, please, but I had to tel you honestly about my inpressions.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,
The Scorpions are THE NICEST GUYS.

Yes the "walking the dog" comment was indeed sarcasm, but not meant to be malicious or cruel. I'm glad you could read through the lines - I meant no harm at all. I really do know how busy life can get and sometimes there just isn't enough time to take care of everything. I don't expect people to answer right away - not at all. But messages were sent out almost a week ago now - I'm not mad or angry at anyone and I'm not turning on the wrong side of the horse (I've never heard that expression but it makes sense!).

For me, I want everyone who is going to have the best experience possible and I don't want to leave anyone out. So an example - lets say one person who said they are "going" never responds until December 14th - "Hey guys, I'll be there!" Well, what if there are no gift bags left or they wanted a scarf? (And we run out.) So I am just trying to get their attention so they don't miss out. Also I'll be traveling during that time, it might be difficult to be in contact with me.

It's all good intentions, I swear! Honestly, my mistake in all of this was that I didn't go with my original plan and get everyone's e-mail address. Many people don't check Facebook, but they will check e-mail. Well not everyone - but at least it would be more reliable than Facebook. :)

I am so very excited and positive about this event - it's going to be a great time. How can it not be? We'll be seeing the Scorpions too! :)

Soon my friends, soon. :)

When one is the planner of a party and they ask for an RSVP, do you ignore it and just show up or do you send in your RSVP out of respect for the host? This is a huge undertaking and in short a very historical event, it is far more involved than a party. So why not take 10 seconds to let Joanne know if you are in or out? Or even have someone do it for you if you just can't. What I hear from Joanne is frustration at those who aren't giving her any courtesy and maybe they aren't seeing it as rude, but it really is, ya know. I used to have a busy life, but it doesn't take much to just respond yes or no.
Gabi, having talked to Joanne a few times, she is so very cool and diplomatic and is not usually one to get frustrated like this, but think for a minute the tremendous strain she is under to have this thing come off without a hitch. And like she said, you show up without giving an RSVP and you don't get a swag bag, you might feel a bit left out. Plus a lot of expense has been put into this, mostly Joanne's I might add....ahem cough cough!!! But there are others who are putting their own monies into this as well with items for the bags. It's just a decent thing to tell her what's what. So if she had to get a little tough to get these folks attention, than I say yeah! Actually I found it a bit tame considering the circumstance. :P

I'm sorry if I have come off sounding angry or frustrated. I am doing all these plans because I want to make it a Scorpions gathering to remember. No one is forcing me to, it was my idea and I take my responsibility seriously. I just want people to have the best time possible.

I don't want people feeling like they were left out or that they are not getting enough in their gift bags. I really say this from the heart - I want you all there and to enjoy those nights with me (And Oberhausen/Munich concerts too!) and to feel welcome and smile because I know I will be doing exactly that.

Sadly, I am not wealthy, so I cannot order 200 extra gift bags full of crazy things just in case people decide to show up at the last minute. So my goal is to make sure those people who said from the beginning that they might go, will be taken care of. Then the extra bags that I will bring all the way from Canada - will be available to people who make a last minute trip or just find out about it a couple of days before. But the number of bags will be limited. People who pay in advance (more details in a few days) or contact me to tell me they will pay at the door - means that your bag/place is reserved. Then we can know how many extras we have. :)

That's why I asked for help on Facebook - I posted a list of people who I did not hear from and I was hoping that through their mutual friends I could get an answer in the next few days. I am done chasing people though. The things I ordered will be coming in very soon and then I can worry about other things. :) I have a party to plan - all I ask is people confirm whether they will go or not and if they want a gift bag.

I am trying to make things simple, really I am! :)

I bet, right about now, she wishes she were financially wealthy!! Dang peeps, I know she ain't gonna say anything, but she is spending a ton!! kay? just sayin....
Joanne, you rawk beyond rawkin and I wish the boys would have sthg to say about this huge endeavor. Matthias hasn't answered your emails and I know he is busy, but he has emailed before while on tour and s**t. And right now he isn't even on tour. Please MJ, be the sweet wonderful guy I know you are and answer Joanne and please James be part of this too and Pawel, you guys love a good party. It's Joanne Laroche on FB... She is busting her ass for a once in a lifetime event. Believe me, this will not happen ever again, ESPECIALLY here in the States. :?

BTW, just an FYI: Joanne was one of the few who was in Berlin, 1991, to meet the boys for a fan meet and she was on the tour bus with Kathleen and at the Berlin Wall, etc. and so, this girl is someone to really be proud of.

Okay everyone - updated the original post and title. It's not longer a question IF we will have a big party - it's a question of WHO is going to join us. :)

More details as I get them. :)

Spoke to some certain ppl last nite in Luxembourg, and yes they are aware of this meeting. So those of You aren´t sure to come; might You have a little more motivation if I say there is a chance of a big surprise that nite.
I wolud recommend to have some pens ready at the Hard Rock Café, You never know how useful this can be.....
Nothing promised, nothing confirmed, just mentioning the possibilty of a surprise

And now sit down Folks, use Your keyboard and confrim Your attendance, Joanne is waiting for this!
she really works her heart out for this event so give her a little help to organize it perfect.
And if there´s any kind of a composer here, start writing a hymn for Joanne, she *** deserves it

 Wooo, it`s so nice to see so positive spirit here! But let me explain my weird humor, please, so no one get confused...

In Bulgaria, there is a very popular rumour that according to Maya (Maya Civilisation) calendar, the world ends at 21/12/2012  Of course, I do not believe this and, of course, it`s not truth, but I love joking with this info, coming from some crazy minds, who have "read" the calendar so wrongly..

But with or without world`s ending, we`ll really party as a last time, I smell it :D
