Well I must say Michael Schenker was in awesome form Last Thrsday Night!
He's keeping tourdates, drinking Perrier water and Red Bulls..No booze.
The Rodeo in San Jose Ca.
MSG & Man Down Productions threw one Bad A$$ event!
Teri and I arrive around 4 ish...Sat at Chili's and had dinner..
All While texting Michael of MAN DOWN while the band arrives.
We leave the restaurant around 5, it was right across the street...
We see Michael Schenker drive in..So we move the car by the back entrance.
Well we see Mike from ManDown and he waves us in for the soundcheck..
Upon heading in, we see many friends...
About 5 minutes go by and Mike Beard ( Man Down) hands me a drumstick from Pete Holmes...
After a few , down comes Wayne Findlay, hes such a doll! Huge hugs to him...Well not soon after to greet us and say HEY LADIES was Elliot Rubinson CEO of Dean Guitars....He happen to notice the lapel pins i made for Teri and I..They were tiny Schenker Dean Guitars. He said "Hey those are cool, May I have one? or I don't mean to take yours!' I said " Oh Elliot it would be an honor to give you my dean pin."..So I clipped it ot his DEAN GUITARS Lanyard..felt sooo cool! I hope i see these at NAMM this next year! ...i wish!
well...meanwhile
Michael was on stage trying to get his amp right..They fiddled with it for like an hour!
He's such a perfectionist ...They just about headed to Guitar Center for a new Amp!..but they didnt..wheeew..
He finally got it...
While he was doing this, I went to the Merch booth that was being set up..
Mike B had told me that was Michael's son Tarot doing Merch that night..
So i go and introduced myself....Go to find out its only the kids 2nd night ever doing merch!..I offfered my advice , and next thing you know I am helping him set up..Made the Signs..and set the Merch CD's out, etc..
Hes a sweet sweet kid!
So we are asked to go out for the Meet and Greet part for those that paid..
We didnt mind, we were first at the door...
We head back in and get right up front...Opening acts are: SPIRAL ARMS & POINTS NORTH..cool bands!
I have seen them both before...

They did one song with Phil Demmel of Machinehead...They guy was beyond honored to jam with Michael.
He was on stage playing and right after the song he had Michael sign his guitar!..
I managed to get the I'M NOT WORTHY PIC OF PHIL TO MICHAEL...so cool
MSG was off the chain!
