Guys,

Joanne is perfectly right. Price depends on the number of scarves I/we order. I told you the very maximum, but I am sure it will be lower, cause I suppose, if FOSers join, it will be half down. I can`t be sure yet, I`ll have to make an inquiry, but I first posted it here to see if ppl are OK with this and how many would accept the idea to be done!

Scorplady wrote:But if we get 20-30 people interested, the cost should go down so we all win then. :)

Of course, if anyone has time, you can check how are the prices of those in your countries and if we can find a better one, a cheaper one. I suggested to make them, cause I know a fabric in Sofia, where we make our ultra scarves. I do not insist on doing them, myself. Or, we can do the last year procedure: vote for project and everybody do it by himself/herself or order

brunnhilde wrote:the t shirts were so fab in Brussels but were quite expensive so if the scarves are cheaper then that's great. Count me in :)

Really? The shirts I made was not expensive at all, but I suppose UK and Bulgarian prices are more than different ;)

Thanks! I appreciate all help, we will need it. :)

We are still in the beginning stages of planning this, once we have a list of people interested and the deadline is reached then we will take it to the next step and figuring it out. If the promoter can help us out that would be awesome. I just want to get some basic gathering planning done first. :)

This kind of thing (bag, scarve ...) are quite expensive in France and I don't think Switzerland is cheaper :? But I will check.

BTW, I travel by car, so if you don't want an extract lugage you can send me a box by mail, it should be cheaper.

Woohoo my quote button is mysteriously back!

Thanks Delphine - I think I'm allowed one checked bag at no cost for trans-atlantic flights, but if we do get many people I think I might need to send you some things to bring!

I could use a ride from the airport though with all the baggage! :)

If you think you might able to go - please do so too. :)

We are doing good with sign ups and maybes!

(Also if you don't use facebook and think you can go, just send me a message with your e-mail address. The next step is creating a mailing list to discuss plans and what people are interested in doing and where!)

Sorry I am getting in to this late, very busy, and have been on the FB group. I'm so looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.

1) First of all I love the idea of the scarves. I have a suggestion, maybe we can throw 5 up there at the end of show, or hand them to them?..and keep our scarves as a memento? Someone asked about prices of scarves, you guys know more about Europe than I do.. seems like I spent 4 or 5 euro for scarf when I was in Germany/Strassbourg/Switzerland in 2009, and was told money was the it was from least to most expensive in the order I just gave of the countries.

Just as an aside, as far as throwing things onstage, since we're throwing out ideas, seems like I read in their comments in their newsletter after red rock that it was hot and panties were thrown on stage, they didn't seem to mind.

2) I read the pros and cons of all the places suggested so far, and whether to meet before or after the show.

Joanne and all of you have done a great job gathering info.

Gabi, when you said people just met at a pub in Brussels..did everyone just reserve tables?

The reason I am so adamant about objects being thrown on stage is cuz MJ has already been hurt once from sthg being thrown on stage, and he has slipped and fallen on things on the stage. So I know that when they act like they don't mind, it's cuz they have to put up a front so the fans don't feel slighted. I know many who are very much against things being thrown on stage. Being handed up to them is entirely different and that is much better. Also, I have heard from a very close insider, that MJ really doesn't like the bras and panties thrown on stage. Frankly, I think he would much rather see the boobies not the bras. haha

That's terrible. I wasn't making a reference to throwing things during the show, I don't remember the newsletter comment even suggesting that. and I assumed everyone on the thread was suggesting that airplanes etc were thrown "after" the show....

Oh I thot you said that the newsletter said that they didn't mind things thrown on stage. Anyway, never mind, it's all good. As long as some of these brain dead fans (NOT HERE) don't throw things at the wrong time, I guess.

Hi Noone like you,

As I remember, - allthough unfortunately wasn't there -, the tables had been reserved, but the Brusselers could answer it precisely.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,

Well, we had in mind the airplanes, which were more than cool, when we were discussing the trowing part, but yes, of course, may be it would be better just to hand the scarves to them, in case they show they want to.

The silk scarves can`t be bought from somewhere, they have to be ordered in fabric, cause they have to be printed, this means fabric will have to make brand new scaves from our own project. So, that`s why I`ve asked if someone knows a place too, where they can be ordered, let`s check the prices, if they are cheaper.

Brussels, I don`t remember exactly if it was just tables reserved or the whole room, but:

... the place, under the arch (at the very bottom of the pic) was all ours, as I can remember. May be we should ask Ruta

Ahh Beautiful picture! Sounds very good, to pick a place and reserve many tables...I know there's a noise factor, but sounds more feasible Is that a possibility at the place that was first mentioned in this thread? the one with all the high priced rooms?

Yes, Joanne said the Planes in Russia were very touching...reminds me of your cartoon video idea too somehow Currry :) maybe our planes could be paper printed with flags from all over the world? and Curry thanks for checking on the prices of the scarves.
