Tobias Sammet declared that a new Avatasia-Album is in the making. Maybe Klaus or/and Rudolf will participate as guest musicians like an Dying for an Angel.

I don't think such thing's gonna happen, though.

Nope..Klaus wants to do a solo album right after the final curtain..And hopefully after it fails he will realise he needs the Scorpions to get back together. There is no money in solo albums unless you are a solo artist..

sure, that sammet won't do the whole album with them. But maybe one or two songs, like on "The Wicked Symphony" or "The Scarecrow". And he had many chances to aks them. Wacken, while touring together ...

Yeah, I did read this before there :

"After the worldwide success of the latest studio releases, an arena world tour that was sold out pretty much everywhere, collaborations with childhood heroes like Alice Cooper, Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Eric Singer of Kiss etc. I 'knew' that I had said everything I could possibly say in the name of AVANTASIA."

but I understood he was talking about the past.

Sammet hasn't spoke about any guest on his album. He just said that their will be a new album. That the Scorps could be involved is just a suggestion, because they were on His albums 2 times now.

I would love to hear that Klaus solo album.
Maybe I am irrealistic about Klaus' voice, but I do believe in it, and in the success of a solostuff.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,

i think after Scorpions, Klaus will realize a solo album.....but i've many doubts about an international success if he will have the same promotion as Scorpions had in last years
I'M PROUD THAT I'VE BEEN.......I'M......AND I'LL BE FOREVER YOUR FAN
YOU'RE THE BEST IN THE WORLD FOR EVERYTHING, THANKS FOR ALL YOU GAVE ME IN ALL THIS YEARS......FOREVER IN MY HEART AND IN MY LIFE

Adri, sadly NONE of them will achieve the success that Scorps did, it will only be a shadow of what they were as Scorpions!! That is why I told MJ a long time ago, that the three of them will start to go crazy and they will come back. But Klaus needs to really take care of his voice and rest up for a while. Quit singing for at least a year, on stage I mean.

As for how it is going in the music industry today, if you want to make some money you have to perform Live, album sales are not making big numbers anymore, like it used to be. Now, if you reach nr° 23 it is a big success.... :?
I like MERCEDES and PORSCHE as well, but SCORPIONS are the best german engine

They are UNBREAKABLE !!!

Yes..I agree with you....the problem now is that you can have the music for free downloading from peer-to-peer channels...and this causes a big big damage to the bands....so live gigs are the best and the only way to earn money :o

I don't know if I do agree with this deal. I mean, I became a Scorpions fan downloading their songs for free, I must confess. After that, I started buying all their albuns, but if I didn't started downloading, I wouldn't found out how wonderful they are. And, come on, who the hell is able to buy every single album for all the bands we like?? I have all the scorpions albuns, but I can't spend my money buy all the albuns from all the bands Iike, not even the bands do that!
This is what happens today, it's the way music runs, and the bands must know how to deal with this, because it's an utopia to think it's possible to stop downloads.
