same here! last weekend was devastating :( thinking of the Euro and the Mannschaft makes me feel way better..

Curry, I totally understand how you feel, as we've been through this last week, as you could see, Adry and I, and thousands of fans around the world...we also got this same passion and devotion for our team...and the pain was bitter! in your case, maybe if it's even worse, as it directly involves money, politics and people on payroll, I feel you and would have had the same reaction...in our case it was only lost opportunities and lot of bad luck..
hard luck, what else can I say...just dont get demotivated, nothing is worth ruining this beautiful spirit that true football fans have!

This was the final straw for me.....John Terry has been in more trouble in the UK then most people know....and always manages to come out of trouble smelling like a rose.....here is a fine example:

In the game against Barcelona....he was given a red card for putting his knee into the back of Alexis Sanchez.....which meant that he would not play in the final.....he sat in the stands with a suit and tie on.....until Didier Drogba had scored the winning penalty....then they all took off their suits and were wearing their kits underneath.....the Uefa gave his permission to go out and hold up the cup.....words fail me..... :angry-tappingfoot:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... areer.html

In 2002 the defender, along with then team-mate Jody Morris, was cleared of assaulting a bouncer at a private members' club. The doorman accused one of the pair of throwing a bottle at his face, leading to 28 stitches.

The case went to court and Terry admitted to punching the bouncer in the face, but pleaded self-defence, and was found not guilty of affray, wounding with intent and unlawful wounding. During that affair, Terry was temporarily banned from England national sides by the FA.

It was his second indiscretion with Morris: in September 2001 the pair, along with Frank Lampard and Eidur Gudjohnsen, were fined two weeks' wages by Chelsea for drunkenly mocking mourning Americans at Heathrow in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

In December 2009, Terry was accused of accepting cash sums of £10,000 to guide visitors around the Chelsea training ground by a Sunday newspaper. Once confronted with the claim, the footballer insisted the money was donated to charity, but video footage later surfaced that showed Terry proclaiming that Chelsea were unaware of the tours.

The club and then manager Carlo Ancelotti released a statement supporting their captain and no further action was taken.

Following the lifting of a super-injunction in January 2010, the 31-year-old was revealed to have had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-girlfriend of former club and international team-mate Wayne Bridge.

The revelations led to Terry being stripped of the England captaincy on 5 February and Bridge resigning from international duty due to his position in the squad becoming "untenable and potentially divisive".

The pair met face-to-face just days later on 27 February when Bridge refused the offer of a traditional pre-game handshake from the Chelsea captain.

Just days after Liverpool’s Luis Suarez was accused of racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra during a game, Anton Ferdinand claimed Terry had racially abused him during QPR's clash against Chelsea on 23 October. Terry immediately denied the accusations, describing the incident as a “misunderstanding”, and welcomed a probe into the matter by the FA.

Now the he has been charged with racism in the courts in England.....however "someone" has managed to get his court date to be held after the Euro 2012 so that he can go.....however sort of like in the Wayne Bridge case.....Anton Ferdinand's older brother Rio has been dropped by the England team....however it is being said that it is because of football reasons that Rio was not chosen.....

This will once again cause problems just like at the World Cup.....because the focus is not on football but on the behaviour off the pitch.....I shall come off my soap-box now....... :angry-soapbox:
So this is why I have chosen to back Ireland.....with my bouncing green guy...... :happy-bouncyshadowgreen:
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.
I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

He wasn`t just a legend, he was a FAN! He travelled everywhere with the fans, being in the fans` stand, singing along with us. Can you imagine.. 80 and more-year old always and everywhere. Talking to everybody, telling stories all the time... It`s such a big loss :(

Berbatov in Juve? Still rumors, but pray with me. if it becomes official, I`d most likely support the Old Lady  since I have never had a fav team in Italy (even though I like Inter and Roma).
