Ah, Nada.. My heart really hurts right now. Not only cause our dreamt FOS meeting won`t come true, not only for the new date, but mostly because of you. Cause I really know how many effords you`ve made to book everything, not to mention the VISA problems :( I wonder (am not sure if it`s possible but..) if you can book tickets for December, if they are on affordable prices and... since your VISA is just for the 2-week October period, is there any chance that if (I say IF) Scorps somehow sent an official invitation for you, you won`t bother about getting VISA for december dates anymore. I mean, I`ve heard that when there are countriues, requiring VISA for travelling, if a native from this country send this "invitation" (I`m even not sure if this is the right word), there is no problem for travelling. Of course, this is just in case you can make a December trip and Scorps are good enough to understand your situation and be maximum supportive..

Please, ppl, do not attack me for the post above, I still believe Scorps can make such kind of gesture, having in mind how great gestures they`ve made in the past for various of FOSers..

I`m waiting to read the official statement...

edit: OK, I think now is the perfect chance for the first private FOS show. In some not so big club, just and only 50-100 ppl :P :P :P Scorps, come on.. I still believe in you
...I`ll keep you in my dreams...´cos you are my light

Great! Now we have confirmation that we've been f*#$&*! I can not help it, sorry, but I really feel like no one gives a damn about us fans - especially after seeing Nickelback change venues and also after reading on the previous link about other venue changes... but the great Scorpions management can not manage to do this!
Thanks a lot! For nothing!

Don't know if this is of any help to any of you, but I received the following information

Purchased ticktes for october 13th 2012 remain valid.

In case of not being able to keep this appointment, it is possible to return the tickets until November 13th 2012.

Ticket returns possible, only at the ticket store where the ticket has been purchased.

I think we will still be going to this (mainly as I said in a F/B post for the Christmas market!) and I know everyone is angry at what has happened, but it would still be lovely to see as many of you at a FOS meeting in Munich if you are able to go.

Business and emotions....

I´m in the same situation with Munich. After calceled trip to Reims I´m really „very happy“ again :)
New date is bad for me and my husband and if I try ask my boss for free days from job before Christmas, she will kill me this time:-) Maybe I will play some Scorpions DVD on October 13th and December 17th at home with cap of wine :)

Yes, big problem and complication for many fans but this is not mistake of Scorpions!!! Maybe is it not fair ... but life is not fair sometimes :( Why to be angry to band and manager? Why to say: „They are doing nothing for fans“. We don´t know details why it must be in December.....
They could play special song for us :D but we can´t expect that they will ask everyone if is new date O.K. and say sorry for booked hotels and flights and no fos meeting.

Postponed show in December is probably acceptable for most of people from Germany and it´s better than canceled show. Many people have chance to see them in different term.

Sad news for fans from abroad but we must see it real... we are maybe 10 % of audience!! It is our own risk and choice and plans to travel for next and next shows far away from home. This can happen... Maybe we lost some money and we will have bad mood a few weeks but it isn´t end of all dreams. Hardfans must be strong and find plan „B“ :D

We are not alone in this bad situation... here is good place to share feelings and emotions. If they read our stories, they see how „easy“ is it for us.... but they can´t help us.

I just posted the same on Curry`s thread , and I`m bringing it along here as well because on some way I`m hurted.
Aren`t we asking too much ?

They are musicians who sell their work , we love it and buy it.

They might be more friendly than others .... but that is all.... I had never expected any different treat . I don`t know ....I wish Roberta would be writing down here , she has spent some time chatting with Klaus and Rudy ...or any other in the same position.
O would love to see things resolved for everyone , I`m very sorry for Nada , and Curry that have so many great plans , and the video thing in hands......

but come on !! This is how life is ...with all the highs and lows ..and we have to learn to deal with it without getting frustrated, that means growing up , learn to deal with frustation .

I`m sorry if I`m disturbing anyone with my comments and my way of seeing things ....I may take some time off the forum because I really don`t want to piss off anyone with my thoughts.

Life doesn`t end here , let`s ask the band , they will listen , I`m sure. !! :D

I am really sorry my friends that it is official and the date is now a different one.

I am even more sorry that they couldn't even take the time to post details as to what to do with your tickets and what if you can't go, etc. That is very poor public relations and I'm starting to wonder if it is intentional since the tour is ending, maybe they just want the fans to go away mad? Someone doesn't care - that's obvious. But I won't believe it to be the band, but they could do so much more to assist people. :(

Well...I'll still be going to Munich in December, but my heart will be very heavy - not only because it is the last show of the year and possibly the official tour but because of all of you who should be there with me with tears in your eyes and a song in your heart.

If anyone needs help with re-arranging their travel plans from October to December for Munich, please let me know. I'm pretty good at finding flight/hotel deals and seeing what can be done for the tickets you already purchased. I'll do what I can to help.

Tell me I`m not overcomplaining, pleasee.. If I do, slap me.. I hate that attitute of constantly complaining and never pleased ppl. We`re just sad.. I`m still trying to do my best and to reshedule my flights (and here comes great thanks for Joanne and Adry and Gabi for the offered help, you rock, rock, rock!) and If I do it, I`ll be more than happy, but not that happy like I would have been to see all of you.. to see Marta and Nada and Emilie and Diego, who are still on 90% sure that they will miss the December show.. :(

And yes, the world doesn`t end with a postponed concert. There are bigger tragedies around the world, if I can call this situation "trategy", but still.. it`s not about the invested money, it`s about the invested hopes and dreams.. And the almost a year waiting for this day..

I`m an adult, not a retard..but I have emotions too, and even if I`m trying to stay as positive as I can and take it maturely, this doesn`t mean it doesn`t hurt me..

guys, I couldn't agree more with Curry...I hate to sound as someone who's always complaining and nagging... it is not a tragedy, people suffer from much many important things in life...again, thank you for everyone sympathizing with me through posts, PMs, FB and even my mobile, I am really overwhelmed, you guys are amazing, and showed how supportive you can be, not that I had a single doubt about that...my case is in no way worse than any of you, some of you have even booked and paid for everything and won't get their money back, some have already gone thru cancelled concerts before...we all have the same disappointment in common...we made an effort to get our tickets because we knew it was worth the effort, time, stress...

now I can see that most of the FOSers will be able to reschedule til December which I think is a relief to many of you..as per me, I really doubt to be able to make it. it is not the distance, in fact, Lebanon is not far from Germany (4 hours by plane) and it is not the visa because I can apply a second time and it is usually easier to get it when it is not the first time, I can even have it for a longer period, that can be up to 3 months..the reason why I wouldnt reschedule is that I am going for 12 days vacation to Germany and Austria now, spending money and working days, i will likely not be able to do it again on December, especially the week before Christmas, which means too much work and lot of money for the flight...I also thought I can save the money and maybe start thinking of being there with everyone in the final show in case it is possible..who knows...

On another hand, I will be in Munich in October and if those who will not reschedule and can't cancel their flight will also be there, a small FOS meeting with bavarian beers would be great too..you know, meeting you was big part of Munich dream and fulfilling a percentage of it will be a pleasure to me..

the family of the Spiders is a great one, reading the posts in this topic (of all kinds) is a total relief, despite the disappointments..angry ones speak your mind out and positive ones still give you hope...
the pain is bitter, the feeling is miserable (especially when I think of the reason why all this happened, I really go crazy, I mean..what are the odds?!) but we have to get over it and go forward..we will have better days, I am sure..

I'm speechless :o :o I will go because I've already bought the ticket and FORTUNATELY I didn't buy the ticket for the flight....but the spirit won't be the same anymore...my deepest thoughts go to Nada and other people who won't be able to see this gig....I'm very very sad for you....I really hoped for another F.O.S meet from all over the world...and I think for some people this was more important than the show....I wrote many many times: the band doesn't care anymore of the fans anymore...I'm agree with my scottish friend: We should boycott this show...I won't do that but surely on 17th december it will be my last Scorps show
Cristy: I like every comment you post here...the problem is that many many fans have the ham on their eyes and they always accept everything the band do....Amend didn't destroyed the band: the guys destroyed theirselves!!!!!!!!!! If something could be done for this gig, nobody moved a finger!!!!
Peace&Love!

thank you sis, you're a sweetness and such a caring person, I am so touched...in fact, as I stated in my post above, the visa will not be a problem, it is easy when you already have got it on the first time...my obstacles are in fact elsewhere...but again, thanks for thinking of me :romance-kisscheek: I want to meet you as much as you want it, and Im sure it will happen, sooner or later...I will be fine, my vacation in October will cheer me up so so much, I really cant wait!! especially that I have booked to watch a dream game for me, a game for Bayern Muenchen in the Bundesliga and in my dream arena, the Allianz Arena 8) 8)
and after all, I must say the Scorpions were after this vacation, even if I dont get to see them  I have booked for it because of the concert, so as they say: everything happens for a reason :)
Cheeers my friend!

Thank you so much for your support !! :D Of course I won`t leave if I`m not making anyone mad ...I find it difficult not to speak my mind , but I really don`t want to cause any trouble.. I know I`m not wearing your shoes right now .... things might be different beign on your place.Yet, I don`t find the band guilty.

I see some of you are missing Lenita , let me see if I can get a hold on her and bring her back......... :P

Hello everybody!

I've a bit abandonned the forum because... well, I think you know the reasons (and also the holidays  )

I have thought about something and I wanted to have your opinion.
As I've read in this topic, many of you will go to Munich in October even that the concert is postponed. I was thinking to send an email to Matthias in name of everybody and explain him that many of the forum are coming to Munich on the 13th of October and if he could be in his store in the afternoon that day?
We should see how much people would come and let him know with enough time to let him decide and organize it. As I had read here, Matthias had planed to make something in his shop before the concert, so I imagine that it wouldn't give him so much problems to make it even that the show is postponed.

What do you all think about that? I think it would be a "better" week end than it looks now... And we could meet all together in a great place and after that we could go to drink a beer or eat together. :D
