I have all but given up on them touring the UK for the last time.
Saw them on the Humanity tour at Hammersmith, basically stood where i had back in 1982 (my first ever concert), and now view that as my farewell to them.

Brathu.

It May not be the scorps main line up......

But Michael Schenker will tour UK in early 2013 with Herman Rarebell and Francis Bucholz once again!!

At least these guys care enough to play for us here in the uk and the ticket price is very reasonable.

Just thought i would mention this as it might be the only chanve to see any scorpions in the uk.

I forgot to mention....

Uli Jon Roth is also currently touring the uk at the moment !!! He is touring small intimate venues across England playing scorpions songs with his own band.

Check his websites for dates.

I still believe they have something planned for the future. I've been waiting to see them since I saw them the last time (2008) and so I've been waiting pretty much 4 years already; another year of wait won't make any difference to me

Since Herman lives in the UK and Michael loves the UK, that makes sense and I am so glad!! I sooo wish I could see this lineup!! I could finally meet Herman, he is such a great guy to me via messages and I would love to at least see M.S. play in person. S**T!! :P

Their "retirement" was more or less a bit of a ploy I think and I believe that when they saw the reaction and how famous they became AGAIN, they have decided not to retire and I think they have plans for places next year. I say UK and Greece and California  to mention 3 places.

Just in case anyone is interested.....

Just got back from Uli Jon Roth Concert in Doncaster.

Uli played an amazing set and played the following on the night:

Fly to the rainbow,
We will burn the sky
Sails of Charon
Polar Nights
Dark Lady,
In Trance

He was amazing i just wish the guys got him more involved in their tour as Uli plays these songs with such emotion and was having a real fun time playing for the fans. Great to see some of these old songs being kept alive!!! :violin: :violin: :violin:
