Something is suspiciously starting to smell like a conspiracy to get me into dancing.

Hello Kate, Hans, and Filip,

I liked your summary of your meeting Filip.
So would love to get to know you all three in person one day, but you have already known it, I didn't say anything new with it, sorry for repeating my self always.

Ah Galya, I don't remember that Grimm tale that you mentioned, but I was really scared of the tale about the siblings: Johny, and Julie.
I so hated the whole story evenif ended with a happyend, allthough I didn't like the fact either that the witch had been pulled into the oven.
Anyway, originally Grimmbrothers didn't write these stories for kids, I mean, they were written for adults.
I don't know how they turned into kid-stories.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,

It's the weekend and I have so much housework to catch up on, but I'm procrastinating and sitting at the computer instead. I got back on Monday from a great 10 day vacation with my kids, but I'm so tired that I haven't even finished unpacking yet. And I need to do the laundry, :chores-laundry: go grocery shopping, clean the house, :chores-mop: and many more errands. Ugh - doesn't sound like a fun weekend ahead. Here's a clue to where I was on vacation. :character-ariel: :character-sebastian: I need a fireworks picture here too but there isn't one.

So Hans will be dancing now? Can't wait to see the videos. :D  I think I'd like to get in on Phlip's class if I didn't live across the ocean. :banana-linedance:

Roberta, I have the same problems on here - I would say that 9 out of 10 times I can't post, etc. Usually the quote button is missing too, and I also can't edit my own posts. I've found that if I log in and out over and over again, eventually the right buttons will magically show up. Not a great solution, but it works.

Is anybody watching the Olympics? :occasion-olympics:

Okay, enough playing with the smilies, I'm going to unpack those suitcases!

Hi Adriana, the picture in my avatar was taken backstage at the Red Rocks show, looking through the equipment out towards the seating area.

Still fighting with myself to get all that housework done.......

By the way, I like your avatar - great picture!

Hello Adriana! Are you there? Anyone about? Anyone at all?

I wonder how your weekend was. Mine wasn't any special at all.. Although, dad bought me an e-book. So now I don't have to torture my eyes reading off the phone. I've already finished "The Catcher in the Rye" by Salinger. I think this book should be read at school, so that teenagers would learn a bit about themselves. And I have just started "Bleak House" by Dikkens this morning in a bus. :)
I think I'll repost this in bookreaders' thread..

Hi Galya !!! :P

I had a good weekend , watched Alvin 3 about 4 times  and get shocked with last episode of Dr Who ( wow is Amy really dead ?? )

... and I did spend some time with friends :P

DeepAndDark wrote:Although, dad bought me an e-book

That seems good ...I still prefer old fashioned books , but of course it`s more easy to carry around.

How`s work going ??

My attitude is the same about books. Even the e-books are much more portable, I still have greater joy holding books in my hands, sensing their odor and leafing through the pages :)

Hm-hm.. these new series are so confusing. I can't remember what happened, when and in which reality. I like the moment when Amy quickly repeats after the Doctor "I-consent-and-gladly-give". Wait, it must be in the end of another season.. really confusing

Perfectly fine with the director on holiday.  To tell the truth, I'm a bit fed up with business letters. But I get to see so many interesting things like urns from precious metals from Italy, porcelain flowers from France.. :)

As for e-books, it's pretty handy. Although I have to say that both printed books and e-books have disadvantages. Like, for example, printed books have a bad tendency to close when you put them aside, so that you wouldn't find the page you were reading. And with e-books the screen width doesn't allow to display a full page. At least in one respect e-books with e-ink technology (the one I have) don't differ from printed books - they are impossible to read in the dark.

Btw, where's my avatar? I miss my Dalek!

I guessthat is the situation....at the end of this chapter they have locked the doctor in a "Pandora box" like cage .. , and the robot who looks like Amy`s BF has stabbed her .... :(
