Saw in tourdates, still can't believe it is real xD Google keeps silence. What do you know about it?
If it is real - I'm definitely there with my bandmates and good friends! =)))

this is a tuff thing, me thinking about playing in a country that is treating his people like belarus leader(s) do ... hard thing, very hard

Ruta, would be nice to see you here! =)
Indotoxic, well, as a citizen, I can say that politics here doesn't really affect music concerts.

Nadja, I will be happy to meet you! And to sing some somgs with you before the show - this is our tradition already =) Hope in Belarus we will be alowed to do that (sometimes we can't even sneeze here without a permition), but well, we'll see everything when it come.

P.S. NEVER complained about a set-list, but I will be the happiest in the world if I hear "No One Like You" at the show live =)

but as a musician, i (personal) wouldn't like to play in a country where politics disrespects their own people and human rights - as a statement. but that is my personal opinon.

I so don't like when people think music and politics are the same things. in some cases they are, but I would never say it about Scorpions. They will play here not for our president, but for Belarusian people, who are treated really not in the best way. So how do you think, will it help someone, if you won't bring some love and positivity to such a place? That is why I wanted Scorpions to come to Belarus, because people here are unhappy most of all, and this concert can bring the ligth to so many hearts! The music is necessary here, especially such music as Scorpions do! So I don't understand your logic.

So.. the situation with Munich has become clear ( in not good way, unfortunately :() - but! now it seems that the probability of me attending Minsk show is very big :) I'll tell for sure at the beginning of September :)

I think what we are talking about is how you reakt to something like that. I personal wouldn't make any money with a country, people in the country or companys in the country that disrespekts people like belarus does. I wouldn't even cross the borders. My ladys collegue went to minsk earlyer this year and mentioned that he was always kind of frightend and unsure whom he could trust - whom not. So if you se what the most powerfull method of our countrys against such regimes is an embargo of doing exports or imports and as so you might understand what I mean if I say I would not play. Playing there is not for the people (if so they would play in other countrys they haven't played yet) it is all about money and I would not support that in any case.

But hey, if you have an other oppinon - that's fine with me, that is my oppinion and I personal will do so, everyone else is free to do what he likes to do ;)

Indotoxic, as a musician, I don't like when people see in performing only this "money making". It's good to make money out of doing things you have much passion for, but it's not the biggest aim. OK, some musicians think money is the most important thing here, but talking about Scorpions, I can't tell t about them, because I felt this inspirationa and passion they play with.
So if you are a musician who sees music ONLY as money making - it is even good that you won't come to Belarus. Because Music can't be Music if the main aim of it is money. But people here need Music, need positivity, hope and good energy. And that is why I must thank God fro Scorpions and their visit.

Well, in August I wrote here:
"NEVER complained about a set-list, but I will be the happiest in the world if I hear "No One Like You" at the show live =)"
Really, I wanted to hear this song live at the concert, but I thought the chance is too small. But nothing is impossible, so I hoped. And, on October 21th, I've heard this song played live in Minsk. And though I couldn't enjoy it fully for some reasons, I was and still so happy about it! Till now wneh I listen to it I recall this moment when Scorpions started to play it. "And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song with nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah" - just played in my headphones - so true.
No matter what, that was a good day. I saw so many happu faces and eyes after the show, and I'm so happy this gig happened.
