What a pity that Istanbul is too far from Hungaryyy!
Perhaps would it have been better not to chase our Turkish friends outoff Hungary centuries ago?

Ok, but the most important thing is Munich to wait for me, and my amazing Fosfriends there. :)

Okay I'm crazy trying to figure out if I could go to the one in Izmir, the tickets are a bit cheaper but since I'll be in Munich a couple of days before...gah. And I have no idea if I need a visa to go to Turkey or anything, why do I do this to myself? Hahah - I wonder if traveling alone as a girl in Turkey if that's a bad idea or not.

I don't think I can go to the Istanbul one as that's too much time away.

I think I'm crazy for even thinking this.

Haha, you have to change your nick to Crazylady.. I love your idea, but I`m a bit sad you can`t do it for Istanbul. If there is an option to take more days off from work, I`m waiting you in Sofia. That`s what Adry will do and togheter go to Istanbul. :P

Oh Curry why do you tempt me so? That would be perfect to have some folks to go with.

I can see if I can do it - but honestly I don't know anything about Turkey and how expensive it is or even how to get there! But I'm willing to find out. :)

If I can get the time from work, maybe I can do Munich, Izmir and Istanbul. :)

Turkey is dangerous????? Come on please!!!!!
I tell Ya what is dangerous these days: Allepo in Syria, Damascus Syria as well isn´t a place where I wanna be at present, the Bronx is dangerous, climbing up to a Himalayan mountain is dangerous, crossing an highway as a pedestrian is dangerous, but Turkey????

No way!!!

As Curry said, that´s not the deep dark part of Europe, it´s just magic! And if Ya consider just to see one Turkey show, than doubtless You HAVE to go to Istanbul, the only city worldwide on two continents it is an amazing view sitting in a tea house at the European shore of the Bospourus smokin´a turkish water pipe and looking over to Asia.
Take a walk to the spice bazar, a place I always go when in Istanbul since more than 20 years. Diner around Taksim square; best seafood all over the world. Ever been to Frisco at Fisherman´s Wharf? You´ll forget it after You´ve been at Istanbul Taksim square!
The only negative aspect of Istanbul is the Hotel prices, if Ya wanna have just a proper room calculate at least some 150 US$ a nite; anything below is crap.

I guess I am worried since it's so close to activity surrounding bombings and such. I guess that is my ignorance about geographical places showing thru. But you know where is more dangerous? Mexico!!! In any case, my prayers are always with all of you!! And your description of Istanbul WAS magical, Ben. My apologies for any misunderstanding. :P

I suppose you`re talking about Burgas/Bulgaria attack.. :? But such happens everywhere - USA 9/11, Metro station in London and so, and so.. :? It isn`t something regular in our country Cristy. We`re normal, well-educated but poor people and that`s all... I know you`re worring about our guys, but you don`t have to. Just take the first flight and come to the Orient.. Seems (Ben and not only) people from West really enjoy it and find it attractive

The way Ben describes Turkey really makes me want to go. I think I'm more worried about the cultural differences and traveling alone as a female - let alone the language difference!

Sounds amazing though. :)

I agree, he made it sound so enticing. But I would be worried about you girl!! Find out from Curry, what you need to do or bring or how to act or whatever, if you go. :?

Curry, I know you are educated, just some ppl are evil and I know it's everywhere, but moreso in that part of the world, is it not? I would like to know and be educated about that. All I know is from what I hear on the news. :P

Christy, don't take the first part of my post as a personal attack against you, it really doesn't wanna be, I express my feelings generally.

I am always deeply hurted, and attacked emotionally whenever people from the U.S., and West-europe treat us, East, and Middleeast Europe, as a kinda "garbage" of Europe, poor relatives to treat from abowe psichically.
We all have old traditions, rich culture, important, big scientists, and artists, whom we gave the world.
I am so grateful for the Scorpions, because they don't behave on this way, evenif there is a business-part I know, but they come back to our area.

Hey, hey Joanne, if you can do it, don't miss the great opportunity.
You will be in a funny, amazing company with Curry, and Adrian.
3 wonderful friends of mine will be together, and it will be so good feeling for me. :D

Thanks Curry and Gabi, we do see your part of the world differently as far as terrorism due to media coverage. However, just from being on here since 2007, no way in hell would I think that any of you are less than very intelligent and engaging and modern folks. It's the evil ones who blow things up over there that scare me and I sure don't know the diff between Bulgaria and Turkey, so again my apologies. :P

But I liked Ben's description of the place and it sound exotic to me!!

It is exotic for you, western ppl. I am so used to orient, I do not pay attention to it  But yeah, I bet you`ve never seen something as Kapali Carsi. And their resorts.. wow.. they are close to the exotic islands' ones.. Four-five stars hotels, yummy meals non-stop (all inclusive most of the time) and great historical monuments. Just google both Pamuk Kale which is near Hierapolis :P

Hi. I want to attend the Istanbul concert on 19 October 2012, but no ticket website has been introduced on the TOURDATES section of the SCORPIONS official website. Is the date for the Istanbul concert confirmed? Is there
any trustworthy website that I can buy my ticket from?
