Thank you everyone !! We had a terrific time togheter , we didn`t get lost , but I did have some trouble with buses

It was a pity it rained so heavy ... but we walked a lot in spite of it ... besides eating

Some pictures are already upload on FB, some more to come from me and all from Roberta`s camera.

It was weird because it was as we have known each other from ever !!, we had so much to talk ....and I enjoyed (specially), all the stories Ro has to tell about her meeting and chatting with Klaus, and Rudy.

We spend an awesome time, and I wished it had last longer ......

hope to see you again soon Ro !! and now I feel so bad the need to meet all my friends from here !!!

Sure !!! but she told me she was going to come over here to talk about her trip to Buenos Aires

but in brief .... she is staying near the obelisco http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obelisco_de_Buenos_Aires, where I went to pick her up at about half past ten ... it was so exciting to give her a hug !!! after so many times you exchange messages and mails it`s moving to see that same one in person....

We went to have breakfast in Recoleta http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recoleta,_Buenos_Aires, in La biela ( if you scroll down the page you will find it ) and then we went for a walk into the cemetery it may be odd , but I like ancient places with history behind and I thought it might be a good place for pictures.

We walked for a while but it was raining so we went for lunch here , http://www.badenoche.com/354_la-parolaccia-del-mare.htm and then walked nearby http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Madero where we made some pictures .

Finally we went to a museum I had never gone before and where I certainly won`t go ever again so BORING http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MALBA

..and that was it ...I had some trouble finding a bus to leave Roberta`s at home , and went to take mine.... hope to see her soon again, it`s hard to say good bye

I'm glad you girls had a fantastic time. Well, who would doubt it. I'm waiting for the pictures, especially those from the cemetry. It's a professional interest already.

PS: I will take time this evening to translate those parts of my play which are in Russian. It shouldn't take long.

PPS: At work I have to call all around the world. And I tell you, Chinese simply refuse to speak English. They're impossible! Calling to Germany is fun though.

Here I am, I arrivend in São Paulo yesterday at 11:25pm, I had a good flying. But until I get my bag back, and then to pass trought customs and then duty free... I got home about 2am!! I woke up about one hour ago and I have to start packing again cause I'm leaving this night for another trip
Later I'll download the pictures from my camera, then I'll send them to adriana and upload some on facebook!

Here comes the promised plot of the play.


Cheburashka and friends.
Characters:
1. Saleswoman (S)
2. Yard Keeper (YK)
3. Gena (G)
4. Shapoklyak (Sh)
5. Cheburashka (Ch)

Introduction.
Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away a creature was born. It came to Earth in a box of oranges. Last time the mankind heard of it was when it was going to school. Many years passed since. The creature grew up and went to University. Now you will hear a story about what happened then. This is a story of doubt, friendship and temptation.

Scene 1.
There is a table on the scene, a bit to the left. On top of it – a box of oranges, price “3 RUR”. A Saleswoman stands behind. A Yard Keeper is sweeping the right part of the scene.
S: Oranges! Oranges! Come and buy oranges!
Looks around and changes the price to “5”.
S: Best oranges here! Who wants to buy oranges?
Enter: Gena and Shapoklyak by his side.
G: How much are these?
S: 5 roubles.
G: What?! Are you crazy? 5 roubles?
S: Just look at them – the juiciest, the tastiest – the best!
Shapoklyak steals a couple of oranges, puts them into her handbag. The Yard Keeper sees it and starts pushing her with his broom.
G: Still, this is too expensive!
S: Where are you living, man? This is a free market. That’s how the economy works. Times are hard, dear.
G: (to the Yard Keeper) How do you think, isn’t it robbery?
YK: I think that this lady has just stolen an orange!
Sh: Me?! Never!
S: Open your bag!
Shapoklyak throws a rat out of her handbag.
Everybody: Rat! Rat!
Everybody run away terrified.

Scene 2.
Enters Cheburashka holding papers and a textbook “Economics”. Puts everything on the table, sighs. Sits on the table besides the papers, takes the textbook, looks at the audiesnce, sighs again and opens the book.
Ch: If demand increases and supply remains unchanged, then it leads to higher equilibrium price and higher quantity. (sighs) If demand decreases and supply remains unchanged…
Enter: Gena and Shapoklyak.
Sh: Hello, student! Is the University still standing?
G: Hi, Cheburashka! How are you?
Ch: (desperate) Hi! Everything is bad. I have a paper to write, but I have no time.
Sh: (interested) Oh, a paper? What is it about?
Ch: The law of supply and demand.
Sh: Oh! It’s so difficult! How many pages?
Ch: 25 at least.
Sh: (to herself) 25 multiplied by 5 roubles.. (to Cheburashka) And when is the deadline?
Ch: In 3 days.
Sh: (to herself) Multiplied by 3 days.. Aha.. (to Cheburashka) Oh no! You won’t finish it in time. (Takes Cheburashka’s hand and draws him aside) But I can help you. I have contacts at University. The teacher himself will write it for you.
Ch: (in doubt) I don’t know.. Are you sure?
G: (grabs Cheburashka’s arm and pulls him away) Don’t listen to her, Cheburashka!
Sh: (pulls Cheburashka to another side) Trust me, Cheburashka. I’m your friend. You can have that paper for half price.
G: (pulls Cheburashka again away from Shapoklyak) No, you shouldn’t, because you won’t know economics. You will be like that saleswoman – selling oranges for 5 roubles.
Ch: You’re right, Gena. I will write the paper myself.
G: Good, Cheburashka. Let’s go.
Gena and Cheburashka exit. Shapoklyak comes to the proscenium.
Sh: (disappointed) Indeed, those who are helping others are wasting their time. (rejoiced) But there are first year students! They are lazy. They will listen to me!
Shapoklyak exits.

The End.

Oh! The Mysery Theory of 1937.. or something like that. I can hardly remember how it was called! I enjoyed writing it.. And of course, having such good readers!
Btw, Adriana, what if you try yourself in writing? Does Ivan have any theatrical activities at school?

Thank you Gabi! It should be 5 or 7 minutes long and it's so difficult to write something funny and short. I hope there's enough action to keep the attention of the audience.

Ro, it is a sketch for our annual festival of foreign languages at my Uni. Some people dance, some sing. My group usually presents a short play. I have photos from previous years on my FB. We did "Tom Sawyer", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Morozko" (a russian fairytale).
