Spain! They are too good for Italy. I just don't know what game all these people saw on thursday. Those people who say that Italy was the better team but I must have watched a different game.

But in this tournament no team really convinced me. Spain and Germany had been better two years ago and I hope they will be again in two years in Brazil.

about thursday match:

i think german played much more better tahn italy in the first 15 minutes, missed unluckly 2 chances to go 1-0.......Italy's been lucky and good to do 1-0 in their fisrt very action......from that moment match changed......
i thought germany could be more dangerous......and i don't understand why Low let play Podolsky from the 1°st minute.....he's been a ghost for the whole tournament......
...and Gomez......if noone kicked a cross for him!!!!!!

nearly exact my opinion. But I would say the game changed after the 1:0. After the first italian goal the only die mannschaft acted, the squadra azzura reacted. And we all know the italians are very good in this.

And a mistery to me is why Gomez, Podolski and Kroos. If he wanted to something new he should have Reus, Götze and Klose in the starting line-up.

congratulation to Spain, tonight they played too well!!!!

the match ended after Thiago Motta injuried...... 4-0 maybe is too "big" result, anyway, Spain the best team tonight!!!

+1, that was a nice evening, sitting there, watching a football match without getting heart attacks and emotional burstouts. Not cheering for any team but the better one.

And this had been Spain this time. And in comparison to Germany they managed to score the first goal.

And when you consider how long Spain had to wait to win the first title the actual series is simply amazing.

But in two years it's Germany's time. Meanwhile there had been too many 2nd and 3rd places.

well I don't think it really matters for you to get the right score "this time"

Congrats to Spain, and hard luck to our italian friends and supporters...

it just makes me sad again when I realize that Germany actually lost against this Italian team...they had a way better tournament...I really wanted to see a Germany-Spain final, but that's football...I must say tonight's final was relaxing indeed Hans..my friends asked me if I wanted to go out and watch it and I accepted with pleasure, I said why not, I will be watching a game with no stress, no stomach aches and no shocks..

the surprising part is that italians were down with 2 goals and still not attacking, and conceding more goals, not coming from counter attacks, as it was supposed to be...no dangerous attempts on the spanish goal whatsoever...they gave up too soon and the coach did a huge mistake when he used the 3 changes at the beginning of the 2nd half, which left Italy powerless with 10 players...

Spain marking new records, again, 3 successive major tournaments won, and equalizing Germany in the Euro championship, 3 times already..well, hat off....

it is gonna be empty now, without the Euro, I always have this feeling when a WC or a Euro ends..

now next is Brazil 2014...and Germany, I will never get tired of having high expectations from you... :) bis bald!

ohhh exactly!! in fact I am keeping the channels that used to broadcast the Euro, it seems them too are in denial, because they still have documentaries about previous Euro's, records, players and I am still watching them..interviews with Beckenbauer, Sammer, Klinsmann, Van Basten and all the remaining legends... with flashbacks from the golden days..
gonna take some time to realize it's over ha? :D
