I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but come on ppl, there is dishonesty in many folks, even in Scorps fans and yes FOSers. You would LIKE to believe that someone like that didn't do it, but in the real world, being a fan or FOSer doesn't exempt ppl from having dishonesty and thievery in their general makeup.

I prefer to live happily in bliss believing there are good people in the world. Especially Scorps fans.

Maybe someone has given the camera to the crew from Staples Center.

I had the same problem after a concert at Berlin's O2 World and called to the O2 World crew two weeks after the show and someone had found my camera. I got my camera back.

I just contacted the Staples Center and no one has turned it in with Security or Lost & Found.

I get the feeling whoever took it, plans on keeping it.

Maybe we can get someone to leave an old laptop there this weekend with a security camera on it .. so
2 things good will happen ..

I'm not sure where your FB is Cristy, sorry I did post on Craigslist (just in case) and I contacted the Scorpions FB page and asked if something could be posted there (longshot, but had to ask).

Hey Cristy - I thought it was a "page" I didn't realize it was your personal facebook account. That would explain why I wasn't able to find it and I can't post on your page since you didn't set your settings up to do that.

Hello Scorplady I met you with Delphine at Staples Center after the SCORPS show and, in order to help locate your camera I suggest you call management at Staples Center I just get the feeling it may be in the hands of a staff member. You shared that there was no one there and the VIP is easily accessible to those assigned keeping it clean. Management needs to make a consorted effort to try locating your camera at the least notify all employees that you have reported it missing. It's not as though you've lost the camera but it was taken by someone and this is theft. Whether it will be returned if indeed it was a staff member remains to be seen but if it doesnt well at least this person will recieve some conviction if any at all. I will post on my facebook page and timeline and hope that if anyone attending the show will see it or their friends in hopes to locate your camera. I live in the Inland Empire area of California about 50 miles East of Los Angeles. You can also request me as friends on FB if you would like. Miracles do happen! I hope you get it back I know how much it means to you

Thanks for the well wishes. Camera has never been found and the Staples Center while they will answer my e-mail immediately pretty much just say they don't have it and they would of had it by now.

I'm pretty resigned to the fact I'll never get it back or the photos.

My guess would be if there was a cleaning person around, they either took it or knows who did..
Have you tried contacting the person who ran the VIP that day?

You know , my buddy Darryl who owns ROCK N ROLL GANGSTAR
( the tees James sometimes wears on stage) got his camera stolen too at ROCKLAHOMA...
He had some KILLER images, and he was even offering a 500.00 reaward just for the Memory card!
He didnt want the camera, he knew it was gone, but was hoping to get the pics at least....He got no response...

A co-worker said his brother works for one of those cleaning services, he ask him what happens when they find something like a digital camera. It might shed some light on weather your gonna get your camera back or not. I HOPE YOU DO THOUGH! Still waiting for my coworkers reply.

Thanks Dan for looking into it. From what the managers told me, if the staff finds anything they are supposed to hand it to security and then they put it in lost and found.

But that's a lot of hands for it to go through.

So depressing to think about it!
