[color=Los Angeles Staple Center, I arrived at 7:45 at The Staples Center I actually should have met at The Yardhouse to meet and greet several of you in which I was unable to do because of transportation issues and traffic so at least I made it in time for the show. I met Delphine and her friend Alian in front of the venue and the crowd was a mass we were inside just as Tesla took the stage and we were escorted to our seats, I must say that the staff of Staples Center are very professional and courteous it was a job well done by all. It was exciting to find our seats 2nd row from the catwalk...awesome!.... Tesla's sound was good and they had the crowd roaring they played some new material and a mix of classic rock sounds they were on stage for a good 45 minutes from what I figured. They had a break while the crew set up stage for The Scorps and while in my seat I could see the seats filling up while the fans poured in and the anticipation of The Scorpions performance intensified you could just feel it in the air it was awesome! I did observe that the fans range from adults in their 60's to children as young as 5 yrs old. Scorpions music is universal it is loved by all humanity and that is what makes them so special. The lights went down and The Scorpions took the stage I can't explain the feeling I had at that moment when Kottak appeared , then amist of the smoke, lights, shadows and pyrotechnics Rudolf took the stage with Matthias, Pawell then Klaus it was thrilling & chilling as the crowd roared with excitement, I love the way Klaus moves and skips on stage it adds so much suave to the whole performance although he doesnt do the head rocking & body jumps he did in the younger days he can still move and I might add he looks so much smaller and thinner and fragile live than he does on videos, Rudolf and Matthias really had us jumping and on our feet all night, it was song after song, pounding at the crowd while I was headbanging and Delphine well she sang every song and knows every lyric (Great Scorps fan and very dedicated) Pawell seemed to really be enjoying himself last night, he appeared confident and blending in with Matthias & Rudolf and of course Klaus with his mesmerizing voice that just kept me In Trance all night. I was so focused on everything on stage last night if it wasn't Klaus singing it was Rudolf stringing or Matthias sultry moves as he played, I do want to add that I believe Kottak's background voice blending with Klaus is really an asset to The Scorpions special sound that only Scorpions have, it is one of a kind. I was jumping and rock n rolling headbanging and it brought back so many memories of the 70's & 80's era in which I grew up in. When the night was over I found myself wishing it could last forever but all good things must come to an end and I found myself with tears in my eyes the emotion of this concert was so intense for me I had tears of happiness because I was blessed to see them perform in "The Final Sting" and tears of sadness that I have just recently become a fan and have missed so many opportunities of seeing them on stage and I am hoping that after their retirement they will someday somehow return to the USA for a special performance because "I Will Be There" I have fallen in Love with "The Greatest Rock Band In History" and the best part of the night was when Klaus was singing "Send Me An Angel" and he looked directly into my eyes and blew me a kiss...that alone was well worth this to be "A Night To Remember" ..Thank You Scorpions for a night beyond all my dreams and I will wait for your next production because I know "The Best Is Yet To Come".....Thank you Delphine for playing a great part in making my dream come true "I LOVE THE SCORPIONS!"#FF00FF][/color]
