It was great to meet Delphine! As well as my long time buddy Kathi (let's not wait 20 years again okay?)

I had quite a terrible day but I won't talk about it here.

This is my third show I've seen of the NA tour - scorps rocked of course and I thought the sound was really good,

I'm a bit sad that it was exactly the same setlist but I guess I expected that. I didn't like some of the dumb rules at the staples center ( I wasn't allowed to hang my banner over the Barrier was just one thing that made no sense.

While myself and other FOSers were rocking out - the crowd really was quite boring :(

Looks like they ran out of drumsticks - Klaus gave out maybe a dozen or so at the beginning but none were handed out afterwards.

Matthias had some guitar problems at the beginning of his solo that forced him to run backstage and grab another guitar- in true MJ fashion he smiled and continued onwards.

Pawel really came out of his shell tonight and I might be wrong but he was making certain gestures to some of the females up front to show their boobs or take off their shirts.

They all seemed to have lots of energy and rocked! Needing to smile after the rotten day nothing like a scorps concert to get smiling for a little while at least!

Good show but I think the crowd was much crazier in Mt. View and Reno - let's see what Vegas does tonight!

It will be the same setlist throughout North America, don't expect any changes.

[color=Los Angeles Staple Center, I arrived at 7:45 at The Staples Center I actually should have met at The Yardhouse to meet and greet several of you in which I was unable to do because of transportation issues and traffic so at least I made it in time for the show. I met Delphine and her friend Alian in front of the venue and the crowd was a mass we were inside just as Tesla took the stage and we were escorted to our seats, I must say that the staff of Staples Center are very professional and courteous it was a job well done by all. It was exciting to find our seats 2nd row from the catwalk...awesome!.... Tesla's sound was good and they had the crowd roaring they played some new material and a mix of classic rock sounds they were on stage for a good 45 minutes from what I figured. They had a break while the crew set up stage for The Scorps and while in my seat I could see the seats filling up while the fans poured in and the anticipation of The Scorpions performance intensified you could just feel it in the air it was awesome! I did observe that the fans range from adults in their 60's to children as young as 5 yrs old. Scorpions music is universal it is loved by all humanity and that is what makes them so special. The lights went down and The Scorpions took the stage I can't explain the feeling I had at that moment when Kottak appeared , then amist of the smoke, lights, shadows and pyrotechnics Rudolf took the stage with Matthias, Pawell then Klaus it was thrilling & chilling as the crowd roared with excitement, I love the way Klaus moves and skips on stage it adds so much suave to the whole performance although he doesnt do the head rocking & body jumps he did in the younger days he can still move and I might add he looks so much smaller and thinner and fragile live than he does on videos, Rudolf and Matthias really had us jumping and on our feet all night, it was song after song, pounding at the crowd while I was headbanging and Delphine well she sang every song and knows every lyric (Great Scorps fan and very dedicated) Pawell seemed to really be enjoying himself last night, he appeared confident and blending in with Matthias & Rudolf and of course Klaus with his mesmerizing voice that just kept me In Trance all night. I was so focused on everything on stage last night if it wasn't Klaus singing it was Rudolf stringing or Matthias sultry moves as he played, I do want to add that I believe Kottak's background voice blending with Klaus is really an asset to The Scorpions special sound that only Scorpions have, it is one of a kind. I was jumping and rock n rolling headbanging and it brought back so many memories of the 70's & 80's era in which I grew up in. When the night was over I found myself wishing it could last forever but all good things must come to an end and I found myself with tears in my eyes the emotion of this concert was so intense for me I had tears of happiness because I was blessed to see them perform in "The Final Sting" and tears of sadness that I have just recently become a fan and have missed so many opportunities of seeing them on stage and I am hoping that after their retirement they will someday somehow return to the USA for a special performance because "I Will Be There" I have fallen in Love with "The Greatest Rock Band In History" and the best part of the night was when Klaus was singing "Send Me An Angel" and he looked directly into my eyes and blew me a kiss...that alone was well worth this to be "A Night To Remember" ..Thank You Scorpions for a night beyond all my dreams and I will wait for your next production because I know "The Best Is Yet To Come".....Thank you Delphine for playing a great part in making my dream come true "I LOVE THE SCORPIONS!"#FF00FF][/color]

Hey VictoryRawks, I LOVE your sarcastic tone.. lets keep in mind there are some old people here !!!
I dont know *** about pictures or photobucket in fact I have had this camera for years and have never taken it to a concert but it was fun to have it.. my first scorps concert was sometime in 1981 I think.. I have not seen them since that first show, so this was cool to connect to my past. I was hesitant and unsure as I gave up on most metal concerts in 82 after a very violent ozzy concert in long beach.. and I went toward the grateful dead.. this was before the scorpions went with the more pop rock sound.. Oh this concert was like medicine, it was like finding an old friend you forgot about, it was like finding an earlier better version of myself that needs to return after so many decades of playing the social striving game.. I banged my head and recalled that I was in fact RAISED on ROCK...

anyways I am not sure how this photobucket thing works but hopefully this will do it
Watch on photobucket.com

sorry but you will have to cut paste the link cause this is my best effort !!! I think you will like the pictures, let me know

Joanne, Scorpia, thank you for your reviews, Del, am so looking forward to reading yours.
Finally you could see abit different show in a differ atmosphere from the European shows, and arenas, I think so. :)
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,
The Scorpions are THE NICEST GUYS.

@drgeff, Thank You for sharing the pic's of The L.A, Concert, I was there but did not have a camera or a chance to take any photos of The Scorps final tour and I agree with you this concert and music was a reflection and a refreshing of the good ol days when Rock was an art and it also caused me to appreciate The Scorpions even more because they still keep this music fresh and alive. I sat so close to the catwalk right in front where Matthias stands along with Delphine and I will add a note as Matthias was playing he happened to glance our way and noticed and recognized Delphine and gave a great big smile and he did that throughout the performance. I wanted to reach out to grab Klaus several times he seemed just a hands reach away but when he blew me a kiss I was well satisfied that with just a glimpse from his eyes he made contact with me and I knew "I was Born To Touch Your Feelings" had become a reality in my life and thats all that mattered, It was "A Night To Remember"
