Hello everyone!

Thanks for visiting and many thanks for all the great comments and pictures!

This site is only three days old, but a lot of people have been asking, whether Uli is involved in this. The simple answer is that - initially I wasn’t - but now I am.
A well-meaning friend of mine had jumped the gun and set up a Facebook profile for me without discussing it with me first. Initially, I was taken aback by that and by the fact that apparently anyone can set up a page for anyone without their knowledge – I was told that even Keith Moon had a current site, apparently run from the clouds beyond, hehe, and that there are lots of “Paul Mc Cartneys” out there.

Regarding my previous decision to stay away from Facebook, it seemed I was kind of the only one who wasn’t on it and some of my friends got exasperated with me, because of this. I always told them that I couldn’t even handle my my normal day-to-day e-mail flow comfortably and the last thing I would want is even more unanswered letters in my mailbox.

To cut a long story short, after I was shown how many people responded in such a nice way, I was touched and thought to myself, I’ll just give it a go and join in anyway now that the profile is up and running. But, please bear with me, because I really don’t understand how all this works. I find the layout of the pages quite confusing and maybe I should read a manual first, but then I don’t like reading manuals.
Anyway – here I am – and looking forward to talking to you guys whenever time permits.

Oh well Uli dear, your friend was right to convince you to join.
Finally time is moving, changing, and FB has become a kind of basic expectation of our virtual age, you like it or not.

You are much-much more smart, and intelligent like not to be able to use that *** FB.
Believe me, if I could learn the basic functions, which I need to know, mainly with a screenreader program that wasn't exactly optimalized for FB, you mainly will be able to learn it.

Awesome! So happy about it! I think it`s better someone run a page or profile himself, than leaving 9873274 people to pretend "it`s him" Klaus should think about this too. There are too many "Klaus Meine" on FB, without his permittion, so.. if he makes an official page, at least ppl would know that there is only one real page

I don`t believe he`ll ever spent his time posting there, but it`s different to make an official page and give the permission someone to run it for you. As Scorpions official fb page, which is run by some PR agency (info from Cristy) or even here - his messages posted by Wolfgang

And the idea is that this is the only way people would stop believing in some fake profile, since they know that there is just one and only real one...

Yeah Curry, I got your idea and I agree with it - coz yep, thousands of fake Klauses may mislead many ppl,and it's just notgood to use his name without his permission, - agree!
But my thought was that just personally I feel that Klaus finds it enough to post his messages via Wolfgang here and via someone onScorps' FB page...that he doesn't think it's nesesary to create his personal page on fb ( not to run it personally, but to ask someone to run it, of course...)..something like that..and once again, it's my personal feeling about Klaus' thoughts about fb pages and other internet sourses...don't mind me, i'm just sayin...

Curryyy dear, I just wanted to suggest that Nadia has done to turn back to the original subject, because - as we all know, I so adore our Klaus -, but this topic is not about him now, and Uli deserves our attentions as much as Klaus, because he is my special angel2, as a so amazing caracter with his unique aura, and personality, another lovely soul.

Yep Nada dear, I hope the same thing about Munich, really do.
