Love&Peace &.. SCORPIONS

As for me, I haven`t said that I do not believe or do believe this journalist. I said that as X can trust the band`s statment, Y can trust the article - and none of the both prove anything. Do you know why.. Cause we don`t have other sides (promoters&old members) statments. And if anybody wants to be objective, it just has to know what all the sides think about it (do not trust if someone said that someone told him that Herman told him.. bla bla bla). You/We need first hand info (from the 2 other sides) and we don`t have it... So we can just guess..![]()
About the journalist, nope.. they do not lie intentiously, they just spice up stories too much. That`s in their journalist DNA.

But I can`t understand what are you so dissapointed of? Final Tour? Ok.. Most of us are very or not so much, but at all, quite dissapoined...
What else are you dissapoined of? Pau show... ?.. and?
I`m not arguing, I`m just asking with curiousity cause it seems you are more pissed off from Nancy`s show than the others, who were there, and at the same time I don`t find so many "Scorps fails" who can make anybody so angry (may be too strong word, sorry)...
Hope time will heal you pain and we`ll all have great and unforgetable time in Munich! Think that way: The best is SURELY yet to come!
Yeah we are not arguing I just wanted to make sure that I do not want to argue with anyone, even if we have different opinions ( was just a preventive comment)![]()
The thing with nancy is like it has been the drop of water wich finished to fill a glass, I do agree we would need more versions to make final statements, but I am afraid we will not... but to me that article haves total sense and as I said some times, it explains all.
I think it will be difficult to have another night to remember
Yes mostly of my deception comes from the tour, is crearly a tour just made to make money, not to say goodbye... as I said time ago, they are having some troubles, Klaus is sick a few times, so why a so high number of shows, if they were playing all around the world I would understand it is to please all the fans,, but they have been 3 years playing the same countries... that is not a goodbye. If they have problems doing too much shows, play less number of shows, and play more countries, yeah maybe you will win less money, but isn't rock around the world your life? what could be a better ending? maybe I am a dreamer about that but it is how I see it.
Yeah the thing about Pau... this is just speculations, but it is strange, nancy was announced as the final french show, thats why there was all the family reunion etc... and well in april some dates of the french tour were cancelled, and surprisingly they appear in november together with more french shows...This was just a though of mine.
And the oooold subject of the setlist, well if this is goodbye, it could truly be a better goodbye, and I know the could do it much better if they wanted, they have been with the autopilot all the tour.
Comeblack... .... what the hell was that?, that was not a gift to us as they say in interviews, it was another album, even if they called it a proyect or whathever, I though they did want to end with a strong studio album like sting in the tail was.
And the thing that I like the least, they are not the same band I have enjoyed and loved, Lenita explained better than me some pages ago, I share what she said.
I am going to stop, I look like an old grumpy old man saying I do not like this, I do not like that, it was better in the past etc.
Cheers to everyone

It's due to a stupid war between 2 promoters ! Nancy should be The Last one (for France). But Drouot cannot resist to make more money and planned new dates (in the back of Music for Ever, promoter of Nancy).
Like drouot paid a lot of more, the management didn't say "NO" ....
the consequance is the hight price of the drouot's tickets! So, if you plan to travel to France in November, take the inssurance for your tavel / hotel ... because there are a lot of risk that some shows will be cancelled due to bad sale.

That's my point exactly, Marina.
During these last years there have been many small things that have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was trying to explain them in different ways, give them the 'benefit of the doubt', since they always gave a good performance making their fans happy at the concert. However, when I took a step away from the whole system, tried looking at the overall picture of how their concerts were scheduled and mostly how they responded to the wishes of their fans in terms of geography and setlists, it broke my heart to sense so much disappointment. THAT is what I call 'bad vibes'.
And , when something or somebody is charged with negative feelings, it takes a LOOOOT of efford to make things right again, to erase the stamp from their foreheads. It's like pooring water to wine . We still admire their stage act, yes, we admire the youthful energy of the Big Three, and raise our thumb for Pawel and James for doing a good job, but we don't like the image of them following the plan of profit, to give us a show on the 'safe' ground, however well they do it.
Being a musician and a rock star should not be an issue of a job, it should be an issue of passion ! It should not be an issue of routine, it should be an issue of change, improvising and experiment. That's the only way it can survive.
WELL SAID LEN!!

And I know that taking some of the oldies would require some extra work , if nothing else, at least changing the keys lower etc. but I sincerely believe it would be worth the trouble ! You cannot imagine the response Uli had performing the good old songs from the 70' s with his band in Greece.... the long term fans ended up with honey in their minds and ears. It would take only two or three pieces to make this effect. The only thing that came to my mind was: Man, if only Klaus was singing these tunes...!
The former band members are an important part of your history and journey as a band. You simply wouldn't be the band you are today without them! The fans have seen them, all of them, respectively, so would it be too much to ask to swallow your pride in spite of some differences of opinion, bad memories from the past??? You are good musicians, after all, and all of you could go through a gig of 2 hours just for the good old times' sake. Like professionals.
Wouldn't you feel happier after fulfilling these dreams of the fans? Wouldn't you feel like "Ok, now it is the good time to leave the endless touring", when you knew that you satisfied the needs of the long-term devoted loyal fans?
