Went to the Meet & Greet and was not dissapointed...... alot of great food. Host was gracious and kind. They said only one item signed but the Band was very kind and signed numerous items. Scorps seemed to be in a good mood and that transfered to the stage.................The show kicked some serious ass !!!!!!!! I was in the front row and man the guys seemed to be on point............................Excellent Show

The energy and fun the Scorpions put into a show is just incredible. Thank you guys for the many years of smiles and good times. You will be missed but in the tradition of Rok n Roll the memories are captured forever in vinyl and 1's and 0's (digitally). For those that haven't seen the Scorps live don't miss your last chance because words just can't explain. God Bless the Scorpions and all of the fans. There's No One Like You!

The show was GREAT and ENERGY amazing!!!
The 150.00 bucks a pop scammed tickets worked fine (remember the bogus links!).
I was OK with the set list but please replace Send me an Angel with Always Somewhere...or even Lady Starlight...
Also missing IMO...Steamrock Fever! How about that jabs solo....it rocked!!

Okay now it's time for the Mountain View review!

Okay - so for starters I'm going to make one complaint about the fans. This was my first time at Shoreline and the seating is kind of strange, there was a very mini-catwalk or tongue has the Russians call it! And while I had a 3rd row seat, I was actually front row to the stage.

The problem was - between my seat and the stage is the aisle/stairs for people to get to/from our seats. So when the band would come close to the "barrier" of course everyone tried to rush the stage to be close - now that I was expecting. The security guards were expecting it too and pushed everyone back.

But here is the thing that ANNOYED me - really annoyed me. So for example, Klaus would come to our side of the stage, everyone would rush up to the barrier and instead of people just rocking out and get a hand slap or an up close photo or drumstick - they would rush the stage and then TURN AROUND to take a photo of themselves with the band members behind them.

Now I can understand doing that once or twice (if the first photos were crappy) but they did it every damn time. I don't understand it at all. What fun is it to be in front of the Scorpions while they are performing and turn your back on them to try and get a photo of yourself? Or better yet, what fun is it for the other people who don't want to see other fans turn around to take photos of themselves? What a distraction. I can't even think about turning my back to the guys on stage let alone remember to take a photo! It must be a Shoreline thing. Towards the end I was getting pretty angry at the people that did that EVERY time.

Okay my rant is done!

Now for the review -

Rudolf was in much better form in Shoreline than in Reno. He had his energy back and being up close on his side of the stage you could just feel the energy from that man. Pawel as well. He was rocking harder than I have seen him rock at other shows, I think he was laughing at me with my flag. (Probably because I got so excited and had the flag the wrong way for the first 20 mins of the show - until someone told me! /blush)

The crowd was much more drunk and stoned than the previous night. They were more aggressive (probably because of the alcohol) but they were also more silent. Klaus had to continuously tell the crowd to scream and cheer, while in Reno the sound of the cheers was pretty deafening.

The sound was SPOT ON, they never missed a beat. For an outdoor amphitheatre I was very impressed.

So apparently, not one but 2 people after the show (one at the arena and the other at the airport the next morning) saw me on the big screen singing a song - but they couldn't remember which. They came up to me and would say, "Don't I know you?" "Oh wait you were that chick on the screen" so I'm on a hunt for videos to see just how much of a fool I made of myself.

I think I liked the Reno show a bit better than the Shoreline one. Although it was great to see all the security guards rocking out and singing the songs with all of us. It's nice to see security as one of us fans and not the evil people stopping you from doing things.

I still wish they would toss in one of the oldies into their set it would just complete it so well!

Oh another funny moment, Rudolf threw me a guitar pick but it bounced from my fingers and to the ground under the stage. I must of looked sad (without knowing it) because he gave me another one, and this time he handed it to me so it wouldn't bounce away. It was the gray one he was actually playing with too.

All I can say is "Awww" love these guys so much. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much and being near them! Such great energy, it's beautiful and you can literally feel it in the air.

My photos in Shoreline didn't come out so good, mainly because I was so tired and I just felt like enjoying the show with my own eyes and not through the eyes of a camera. But you can see a few of them here:

the scorpions were great and loud the crowd was super loud after wind of change the guy next to me was plugging his ears while cheering which was funny After the song is there anybody there he asked me when the song came out and the name that of the cd the songs on. after i told him he said he has to buy that cd because that song rocked!!! They were energetic and fun to see this was my 4th time seeing them and this was the best. even though same same list as last year besides two songs it was great!! friends of the forum dont miss the scorpions because of the set list please go you wont regret it
