RENO WAS ONE LOUD BIGGEST LITTLE CITY!


SCORPIONS WERE ON FIRE LAST NIGHT!
OMG...the energy was crazy!

I didnt get the setlist...
but I will TRY to remember!

Wow What a awesome show!!! I had a awesome time.

My review:

I made a sign to take for the concert https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater then every know and then I would hold it up as high as I could and Klaus saw my sign!! I saw him put both his hands over his eyes and look my way,even my Mom and Dad said he did!! I think even Rudy did because he looked my way and smiled and I think MJ and James saw it too.

I got a lot of attention from it as well I got fist bumped,thumbs up's and someone even to a pic of it! i even met one of the forum members and she gave me a poster. I wanna say a big thank you to her and it was so nice meeting you.

Thank you so so much Klaus,Rudolf,Matthias,James and Pawel for the really wonderful night

WAY TO GO KAHLA MY BGRW!!! YEAH!! THE ONLY ONE WHO CARRIED ON THE BGRW LEGACY!! HA If I can get to the venue, I will be at Red Rocks and I will have my sign....but I forgot what I wanted to say. hahaha Oh well, I have 2 days. Anyway, I am soooo glad you had a great time and that Klaus saw the resurrection of the BGRW that he loved back in 2008. haha Way to go!! Rawk on girl!!

YEP!! Formed in 2008 by 3 of us and I pretty much ran with it, creating a logo and a flier and heading up the BGRW signs all over the world to show up at different shows. That was a blast! The boys loved it and always loved when they saw yet another BGRW sign in a different country. When I had mine in Costa Mesa, Klaus and I played peekaboo, him with his tambourine and me with my BGRW sign. Good times.

Aghhhhhhh..................Where do we begin.

I have luck with the Scorpions like a magnet to metal.

Ran into Pawel, gf, James and Stephanie at 11:50PM on Thursday night....... drank a beer , chit chat and a few pictures.
Harrah's in Reno.................

Next morning we ran into Lyndal and Markus Starbucks Coffe. Lyndal said the Screwpions sound check was at 10:00am.
Lyndal actual plays on stage this tour. Mathias guitar tech.

Hung out and waited for FOS members to show.................

Pre-Show party had bartender malfunctions.........ands ...late .......which meant free beers.

Than they tried to impress us with 151 lemon drops and caught the table on fire..........

Cin Cin took good care of us..........Many great friends and FOS members showed...

On to the Show.

Tesla.........They ROCKed hard and partied hard as well.
Chip and myself were with them backstage before they went on the steps.
They like to mosh before they go up the steps on to the stage.

Signs was the best song.

Closed with Modern Day Cowboy.

I also seem to be a magnet for Klaus have 12 pictures with him backstage all over the world.
And this one turned out good........I call if FADE to Black.......We both look like Rockers.

The Stage is still the same.......great to see all the light and the digital screens.

They had the catwalk and anyone with a wrist band could stand on the fence..... I had a crew pass and was all over the place........Got Sticks, pictures, picks and plenty of fist bumps from the band.



It There Anybody there was done so well.............I love it when they play the older stuff.
Takes you back in time and let's you know it is real.........

Then on to coast to coast and Loving Sunday Morning..........The shows from the 1980s were
better back them because they could turn up the sound. These shows nowadays I do not need to where ear plugs and slept fine after.

The lights when out and were screaming after Big City Nights.

Man the POT smell was over the TOP in RENO.........

Then they came back out and did

Rock you like Hurricane.

Paula. Terri and Imelda all got picks and sticks and ended in the front.
Great place to see them one last time.

Nunny Scored..........She wanted to see Klaus really bad and she got to do it all.
Backstage pictures, gave gift to Klaus.......He really like it.
Nunny facebook has the pictures.

Met Tom, Chip, Dion also...................

Then the Sake, 151, Beer, Champagne and everything else we drank kicked in.
Went to bed at 12:00 and got up at 5:30 am to drive to Mountain View.

Over all RENO is one of the best places to see concerts.
The Scorpions were spot on........Like clock work,
Love it.

Hey everyone! Still pretty tired here, so I'm going to make a short version.

I am just so energized by these concerts!

For starters I am going to say I met some great people! A huge shout out to gsantana and his wife for all the help and just generally having such a cool time with. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys in Vegas!

The concert - lets see I'm going to point out some things - the good and bad. It might be easier or I will write pages and pages of stuff.

VERY HOLY CRAP GOOD:

- Got to meet Klaus backstage for a brief time, he looked energized and happy.
- 3 drumsticks came my way, one from Klaus, one "Klaus style" from James and then his black one - signature series sealed with a kiss.

GOOD

- They played No One Like You (I've been waiting them to play that live since last time they were this way)
- The crowd was relaxed and the atmosphere AWESOME!
- Lots of eye contact and energy, the band and Klaus' voice really hit the right notes

Not so good

- The sound really wasn't good, on my side of the stage I could hear the drums and Rudolf's guitar, but I couldn't really hear Klaus very much until they worked it a bit, then it got better. For the first few songs, it was like I was in the studio listening to individual tracks hehe.
- Set list - a little too predictable (not complaining but it would of been nice if they added one song for the old fans, like they did in France with "We'll Burn the Sky")
- I got to see the pyro in Russia, I was hoping they would have that here, but I think US/Canada as a whole have much stricter things on what they are allowed to do (fire regulations, etc)
- The smoking at the concert and all over Reno. MY GOD it must be the smoking capitol of the US, it was horrible and it usually doesn't bother me. Then at the show, combine regular smoking with the marijuana and wow, I'm glad I wasn't going directly over to Canada after that show, my clothes smelled sooooo bad.

Great show, I won't lie, there was a beautiful stage presence as always. I did notice that Rudolf seemed a bit tired, I bet jet lag caught up to him because the next night he wasn't tired at all!

But I would return to Reno for a concert anytime I can. I just live on the wrong coast!

Ohhh I forgot to mention Tesla.

I think they had a good set list, with a majority of their "best of" hits being played.

I have to say, they have NOT aged very well or maybe I was just too close, but I didn't really want to see them the next night. At least one of them had quite the attitude too.

Song wise it was a good fit for an opening band, visually it wasn't a pretty sight heh.

So essentially I loved hearing them and they rocked, but seeing them up close just was kinda scary I think!

we all go to our seats to see where we are at...The venue was pretty packed.
Myself, George and Teri Mingle...talked with a friend of Klaus'...
I gave him a poster...Alfred....HE LOVED IT!
He then kindly took us back to see Klaus....SCORE NUNNY!
Klaus is a sweetheart! THANK YOU KLAUS!!!
