But anyway, here I'm not allowed to drink much, so just some occasional beers and Bailey. Been surviving without smoking, but Curry's shisha sounds so tempting :whistle:

Well, when I was 17 I was kind of focus on my goals ....I need to have everything under control !!!!, ( I`m the type of person that needs to feel that controls things ,.... though life showed me on time that, in fact, I`d never controlled anything ) :lol:

Hello, hello.
It is just a quick post now, I will have free time at the weekend, and the next week, I am going to have 3 off-days.

Thus, am happy to join to the club.

I also had a rebellis period similar to you Curry, just it happened in my twenties.
I had a friendcompany with crazy parties at the weekends, and new year parties, full of, hmmm beer, wine, campagne, and who knows what else.

Then an absinent period, and now just occassional drinking with friends, and not as so crazy as it used to be.

I dislike coke, and yeah, I don't like mixtures either, just one thing: coke with red wine, allthough wine is the yummyest drink just as it is, without anything.

Phuongs, actually.. it was Nada first who mentioned shisha and I really didnt know what does it mean.. and then it turned out it was the same as nargile.. neither harmfull, not dangerous at all.. fruity taste, very very popular in Turkey, actually a part of their culture..

Adriana, it`s good to know what do u want from life and try to achieve it, but some things cannot be controlled.

I meantioned vodka, but I don`t like and don`t drink anymore. I`ve tried it a couple of times, when I was.. teenager, and nope.. I`ll never try again.. I really don`t like it. But I so respect Mr.Johnny, my love :oops:

Do not ever mix wine with anything.. It`s a shame! :roll:

Actually, I`m very talkative and friendly when I`m little drunk! Cause some people become aggressive from alcohol.. :angelic-green:

You mean Johnnie Walker? Then you should definitely try the Blue label, cuz it tastes much better than the rest (i.e Gold label etc). Well, I'm not talking from experience, cuz I've just tried small sips, but my fiancé told me that it's one hell of a drink :mrgreen:

). Most of the time I just spent on studying (because I had to) and fantasizing about some rockstars, especially the long-haired and tattooed ones :roll:

Oh girls, I am not in a good friendship neither with Johnie, nor with Jackie.
Whiskey is the drink that I can't drink at all.
Its taste is horrible.
I don't like voddka either.
I like pálinka/palinca, if it is not fake, but was made from real fruits.
Apricot, strawberry, or plumpálinka are really delicious.

I had to study too, phuong. Yet, it was very strange cause I had only A - from 1st to 12th grade, and I + 3 other girls from the whole alumni,were chosen to hold/walk with the flags - our highschool one and the Bulgarian one. It is a tradition in BG and big honor. At the same time, when the darnkess fell, I became a huge party animal. I don`t remember a single day that I didn`t go out with friends. And every Friday, it was... :obscene-smokingred:

Same at the university... Just best is to find the balance between the both :wink:

Never tried anything but red label of Johnny.. But I should.. :twisted:

ok girls, im healthy again and back to work and ready to party :lol:

my input concerning the above:

- sheesha, argeeleh, nargile is the same, and it is part of our culture too, you can see it everywhere here, but is is harmful and dangerous Curry, they say it is even worse than cigarettes...smoking it for like a couple of hours has the same bad effect of smoking like many packs of cigarettes unfortunately..

I have even tried lot of crazy tastes...along with the fruits (apple, grapes, ,lemon, mint, mango,...) i have tried the chocolate..can you imagine? :mrgreen:

but this one is really harmful, I stopped smoking it long time ago..I even tried the Coca cola taste and the ultimate RED BULL sheesha..ok that was one hell of a smoke...just picture the effect of red bull in a nargile..i cannot garantee where you might end up with that :lol:

I dont smoke those anymore, only mint, lemon, grapes...but I have decreased my use of sheesha..i dont prepare it at home anymore, just when we go out to a Lebanese restaurant/cafe, and I make sure to share it with another friend instead of smoking it alone...

concerning drinks, I also used to mix coke with whiskey when I was younger, now I refuse to add anything to whiskey..I have tried Red and Black label..
wine? I will NEVER mix it with anything..I love the white, the rosé and the red..

Vodka, not a big fan but I sometimes have it when out with friends and when everyone is drinking it..would mix it with red bull, 7up, orange, pineapple or cranberries juice..

we have a local alcoholic drink called "Arak", it is similar to the Ouzo of Greece..some people in my village prepare wine and arak during autumn...and spend long nights by the fire waiting for them..beautiful days, we also used to prepare arak in our garden..

Gin Tonic, I just love it, it's the one im having the most recently..

Beer is Beer, you can't not love beer...I go for Almaza, our local ones, and also Heineken, Coronna, Budweiser, etc...I am looking forward for trying german beer in Munich..

mmm wut else, I also drink shots sometimes..doudou shots, absynth, etc..some of those are really strong..
Martini, margarita and other cocktails, from time to time but not frequently..b52 is yummie, just when im into a sweet taste..
coniac is good but i rarely have it...mostly as a cure when im having stomach pains :lol:

We also have an ouzo-like drink called Mastika.. Awww, what about Menthe! I love it during the summer, but without mixing with with Mastika (mixture is called Oblak - Cloud). I love it with Sprite and lot of ice :mrgreen:

^ Curry. Yeah, except the partying part, I haven't really had to take study seriously but my marks are always high, usually in class's top 5, sometimes top 1 :lol:

. I'm glad it works that way, because my laziness is incurable.

I don't know much about alcoholic drinks, cuz as I said, can just take some small sips. Beers are ok too, but TBH, they make my stomach full too early.

Shisha... yeah they're harmful too of course, because despite the tempting flavors, when we take it, the amount of smoke and nicotine we consume can add up to even higher than when we normally smoke cigarettes or the like. However, that doesn't stop me from trying, at least once :whistle:

Not a real smoker / drinker, but gotta feel glad that my fiancé smokes and drinks too, so no "Why are you doing this?" 8-)

but yeah, I haven't touched a single cigarette for a month - quite an achievement.

Phuong, full respect for not smoking. We`re joking a lot here, but believe me, neither me, nor the other smoker do not find it as a cool stuff. It`s just pretty tought to quit them, but I`m sure it will happen someday. We`re going to be mothers someday, so.. we HAVE to..
