I was very worried about the fact that the biggest hall of Belgium might not be sold out, but I was wrong. It was full!!! Youll be able to see it on my videos.

The Scorps were as good as the last time Ive seen them. Maginificent. My deep bow!

The audiience was suprisingly very good! I had chills from head to toe when they stamped with their feet and clapped at the same time. The Scorpions reigned that night! :D

Klaus' voice seemed to be soooo young, I had a feeling that there was a guy in the 30s singing the song. Its an interesting thing when you hear his actual voice on youtube or in live! Big difference!! :D

I was very very very happy for the concert. I was stunned all the time. One of my friends was paying too much attention on exact details like few mistakes from Rudolf while playing the solos. I guess he doesnt understand that its all about the energy and the feeling that we get seeing playing them in front of our eyes. (Foolish guy) :D

I know I wanted other songs in the setlist but when I was there, I didnt care at all! I really didnt!

From the bottom of my heart: I LOVE THIS BAND!

Thank you Will for your review :) yes it seems that Klaus has recovered health and it's good to see him so dynamic, smily and I think, he's the singer of our life !! 8)

thanks God he got himself back  -so it means that the guys wanted to keep the flag...I don't know how about Ron's feeling about it, but for me it would be a really great honor if they took and kept my flag :) ( though, of course, I know that for Ron this flag was a real treasure...)

And..hehe I'm also intrugued if you dared to take off the t-shirt, and, in case you did - then I want pix! :banana-gotpics: :P
Best wishes, Nadya

Part 2

At 20:15 the opener Driving Dead Girl started their show. They are from Belgium and play a kind of high density rock and roll. They played a short, but enjoyable set of 30 minutes. Probably, after Edguy, the best support for Scorpions I have seen so far. The singer said it was the first time they played in a venue of that size and they seemed to enjoy it. My nephew Warre seemed to enjoy every moment of his adventure, and looked less tired than during the waiting in the beginning, which was, indeed the hardest part for him. There was another kid of his age at the show as well btw, the son of Ron's friend Benny, and at the left corner of the T, there was a girl that looked even younger, or at least a lot smaller.
And now, I have to dissapoint my fans who were hoping for something. During the short break before the Scorpions, Nancy did no longer insist on the T-shirt issue. She must have become a bit shy about it, or maybe she was too overwhelmed from standing so close to Ron all that time. Near the end of the break we heard "Back in black" and "Enter sandman" and I told Warre that now it wouldn't be long before it really started.

I think it was around 21:15 when my cell sent the first sounds of SITT to a living room in Agrinion. I was checking how Warre was doing and he seemed very impressed, and completely into it. Since the end of 2011, they did some small changes to the setlist, which I found very welcome. After CTC, as always, Klaus kissed his plec and wanted to give it to a beautiful girl in the audience. He clearly indicated who was supposed to receive it, but the plec fell between the stage and the barrier. Some specimen, on the left of the girl grabbed the plec from the ground, and didn't want to give it to the girl. Maybe the specimen thought Klaus wanted to give the plec to him. I hope the specimen is not representative for the average Antwerp rock concert audience, that would be a bit sad for Antwerp.
During In trance and The best is yet to come, I wanted to give short concert calls to my Katerina, but due to technical reasons, it was not possible to make a connection. There's no use in being at a concert, if you can't call your loved one, so I kept insisting, and during Send me an angel, we finally got connection with Akropoli. In the mean while Warre was doing very well, and singing along like a pro. During Hit between the eyes, I wanted to send a last concert impression to Lenita, but I'm not sure if it was received, or picked up by one of the monsters and not transfered.
About the concert itself, it was a good and tight performance, as usual, and Klaus' voice sounded very good. I also found the audience very participating, for North-european standards. Maybe some of us who have seen them several times are getting a bit spoiled. Little Warre was enjoying every minute, and also Wim was impressed that such "old buggers" could put such a performance. During the encores Klaus took Ron's flag, showed it to the audience and put it on James' drums. That is the last place where the flag has been seen, alive. Also during the encores, Klaus was thanking the fans and the audience, and he also pointed at Warre's corner when talking about the new generation.

When we were talking with the others, after the show, Warre (who also plays guitar btw) showed very proudly the Matthias plec he got, handed to him during the concert by a friendly security man.
In the mean while, Ron had gone to the barriers at Matthias side, to try to claim the flag back. Not so long after the end of the concert, they already started to clean the concert hall, and chase away the audience. But Ron is not someone who let's himself chase away easily, especially not when he's trying to get his flag back. So he changed to the other side of the stage, got further and further, and after some time he could not be seen any more, he had dissapeared in the catacombs of the backstage. Unfortunately we could not stay any longer for a group photo, because we had to catch the last tram to Linkeroever, and also Warre was tired after such a long day (he also had been to school). Around 01:00 we got home and could fall in our bed, but only after giving some first exclusive impressions of the concert to the ones who stayed at home.

After the meeting we finaly saw Nick(y) what a nice couple...we had fun..seems Enya was also in a good mood yeahhh Vero came in with a beautifull smile (only Klaus can sing) i wonder if she spotted us first or not....you rocked and was save with us no doubt...time for Hans and crew...Kristof had the final spot in front and was ready to attack. we missed Jess,Wilhelm.... Well we easily went in...only only only one security screamed NO RUN....and just tried to hit me with his belly (full of beer lol or sixpack)...damned why...there is no need for such a acting..maybe it was his only live performance tonight...lol... no doubt our family of spiders saved the spot ...It's always a story to get in...

well Hans can't describe it in a better way...but about that underwear lol....i have a 'blackout'...
-------
i didn't liked the support band but okay...we had a great conversation with Vero and a polish fan seems his first gig and second will be Poland..he was gone on every scorpions song ;-)
------
i like the countdown but after so many gigs it's.......unbelievable...we're here again to ROCK in the ROCKZONE
The performance had a little rollercoaster feeling but i talked with many (virgin)fans and they realy liked every minute with respect. We had in Trance so beautifull...it was broadcasted in the sky....lol.... i missed Philip around and Jess ,Wilhelm...but the band had a good schedule no doubt. Klaus saw my birthdaywishes for him and he realy act during the song like a gentlemen to stop and give me a private salute...speechless...
the venue had a good thrill the earthquake was awesome...Klaus used a little bit more the public to continue his songs ...Rudolf played some new flying V's and a new blackout silverguitar ! Matthias had fun and shout so hard we all could hear him loud and clear ROCK ROCK the six string was awesome !!!!!! James interacted fresh with the peoples and enjoyed to give goodies to the new generation.... he have me a drumstick personaly? why...i saved it for Vero seems she got a plectrum from Klaus..missed by a egoist man ! realy !
Pawel was agressive and very powerfull on his baseguitar...he changed often and attacked many times with his fist !!! RYLAH was our last Scorpions Song on Belgian Floor....damned....
i was so influenced for this concert and wanted to hold the flag during the concert on the barrier ...But Klaus asked it on stage with his quick handmoves and smiled ...The venue was happy to see a belgian flag ! whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
respect for Nick but nobody knows about scottish flag or others...9000peoples liked Klaus and the band on this final so they all kicked the floor, barrier or seats....first time i see this....
-------
after RYLAH i was blown away...final screaming wouldn't help........wonder what they did with the legendary flag?
it's over for Belgium.....
the meeting after i am sorry was a bit strange but i bought me a new hoodie sweater to have a new memorie with +emotions...
----------
we had a good drink and pics afterwards....and more to come because ' i was living for tomorroooooooow'

tx all friends who where with us and those in the sky !!!! you never rock alone......
wilhelm :they put the stage more 'in ' the arena so it seems to be full and together....

Thank you for revieuws! :D Well, about the plectrum, I was disappointed but 30 seconds after it got out of my mind because the guys played sooo greaaat that it was just impossible not to be happy and enjoy the moment a maximum. (And at the end I got Matthias' one, so I have a little souvenir anyway )
My turn now :P So, when I arrived at Antwerp-Centraal station, I thought I would get lost. And even more when I couldn't find the metro platform... But I asked my way as an eternal tourist and everything went well! By the way, I was in the same metro than the polish fan and it surpised me when I found him standing just next to me during the concert. As I arrived, I directly met bresilian fans. In fact Ron, untill I saw your T-shirt, i wasn't sure at all it was FOSers group >_< Then we've waited for what seemed to be an eternity but when the door opened, we ran to the standing zone, with the security guy who was vainly screaming "Don't run" :')
About the support, I quite liked it. But sometimes it became hard to distinguish the different instruments, like "we make noise".
When the guys came on stage, I was... in trance ;) No really, they were all smiling, energic and the joy was communicative! Almost impossible to catch Matthias on a clear picture as he was running all the time  And Rudolf's new guitar, making smoke, just amazing :P Time passed too fast... As always, it was a real pleasure to hear Klaus singing with his wonderful voice! He's so close with the audience and that's so nice :D
I was particulary glad they played Is there anybody there, just one detail but I had it in my head when I was waiting in front of Forest National on 26th november... And Rock you like a hurricane, we got wild  Screaming "WE WANT MORE" after this last song, but it was the end :( Unforgetable moments!
Ron don't worry about your flag, I'm sure it's in good hands :)

My review,...its already a week ago that we're standing there,...
I was worried that we couldn't find a good place ,since we only could leave late,...we still have to wait to pick up the kids from school to take them to my mom,...lucky enough my friend from work gives us an alterative way to avoid the ring around Antwerp,...and it work perfectly, without that way,iwe sure should only arrive sure one hour later, just before we get into the trafficjam ,we turn off,...as soon we passed the venue ,we saw there was not really a lot of people still,...we park our car and looked for the Belgian Fos, we almost immediately found them, only after 45 min the doors were opening....a fast run till the front ,and here we are, just on top of the T.

The support act was not really bad,...and finally the Scorpions started, they all in a great mood,i herad for a photographer ,it takes 6 sec for Rudolf to run from his place to the top of the T, ....and he done it constanly,
Matthias keep running over as well,...he recognize me again,...when they started In Trance,i was thinking its the right moment to call Philip,...pity enough he was just miles away,....its always great to hear that song!
Just like Hit Between The Eyes,...i"m glad they put it in the setlist ! Great to hear it live!
And the flag arrived also on stage,i guess it has to be there ,especially when the concert was in Belgium!
Pity enough it suddenly disappear after the show,...Ron keep looking for it,even went backstage ,...but no luck,...
so many great memories of it,...i hope it make someday a comeback,...
About the show,...the setlist was almost the same like in Brussels,...i guess the concert in Brussels was better,...just because there was more FOS friends and Klaus dedicated a song for us,...
We dind't look anymore to find the band ,because the next day we had to travel to Nancy, and we still wanted to have some rest,...

Coming home again"
