He was an innovator and paved the way to the world (well America anyway) in accepting rock and roll!! He will be sorely missed. I am old enuf to have watched American Bandstand faithfully and loved that good looking man who never aged!! Keep rawkin Dick!! RIP!

I wonder if Scorps will give an honorary shoutout to good ol Dick tonite at their show! If it wasn't for Dick, so much of Rock and Roll would not be so huge!! He did a lot for bringing it to America when the "grownups" were so against it and was an incredible influence and innovator! He also brought many stars recognition on his show.
Scorps, maybe sing a song for him, eh? God bless and RIP Dick! You truly were ageless and the oldest teenager!!
