Greetings from Los Angeles, Ca!

Hi Everyone! I finally made an account and i just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a simple 20yr old College student/drummer from L.A who was introduced to the music of Scorpions at the early age of 10 by my own mother who is a die hard rocker of the Scorps. She's from Leon, Gto. Mexico and she tells me about her teenage years when she used to rock out with her friends back in the 80s with one of those old hand-held radios and she used to tell me that even though her and her friends didn't know not one word of English, the lyrics of the Scorps were universal to them as if they could understand what the songs meant. Every time my mom and i talk about her good old days we get kinda teary-eyed but happy at the same time because she finally got to see the Scorps live at the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario,Ca on July 29th, 2010 it was awesome! It was my first rock concert in my whole life and how awesome could it have gotten when i got to rock out with my 42 yr old mom to the beat of Rock You Like a Hurricane, Big City Nights etc. Best night of my life!. Anyways I'm really stoked about the Scorps coming to the Staples Center on June 22,2012! The thing is I'm really broke with all my school expenses etc. And i'm afraid i wont get to see them one last time. But I'm really excited and full of hope because tomorrow morning i will head out job hunting so that hopefully i could get a job and save up enough money for my ticket to the concert. So basically i have almost 2 months to save up, hopefully there is still enough tickets on sale. I'm on my quest to get a job and save up for my Scorps ticket. Wish me luck guys! Cheers! Welcome to the forum , and I`m so glad to see you share such a tight bond with your mother , ....I`m looking forward sharing the same experience with my son ,...unfortunately I will be a bit older than 42 by then ...but there`s no age limit to rock, isn`t it ?? !! I too was at the Ontario show! I was mainly backstage, but did manage to get out to the crowd and rock out to the GUYS!
