Weather does play a huge factor in peoples health ..

No doubt! Just like our beloved Scorps, it's all about the bottom line; the almighty dollar or I should say euro!
But I still believe that weather, such as the cold, has no bearing on illnesses.

Eww point that thing in the other direction. :)

Well - maybe the weather doesn't directly affect if you get a cold or not. (For instance if you don't put on a jacket and go play in the snow.) But once you've been really sick, it can take months to recover and get healthy again.

I think that's probably what is going on with Klaus, after being sick his immunity is decreased and he is more susceptible to more bad things out there. You can only push your body as far as it can go.

Wishing all the best to him and the rest of the members of the band for the rest of the tour to be healthy, safe and full of rock and roll.

I can only imagine how bad he feels for all the fans that aren't able to see them.

What a nice discussion ,

victory*rawks wrote:Nope, it's a scientific fact that weather has nothing to do with colds and such, it's germs.

That`s not exactly like this Cristy : " Influenza reaches peak prevalence in winter," http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Influenza

and the virus might on turn get the inmune systen weak and then you have an overlap infection with bacteria....

 Well, try to avoid sneezing on MY direction ....Tom is right , is the little aerosol particles the ones that spreads the virus .

I wish Klaus a soon recover !! :D

That's the FLU Adriana, not a cold. The only time the weather has any direct affect to you getting a cold is when ur immune system is low and you go out and get wet and cold and whatever.....but that's not the main cause.

Of course Tom is right, THAT is what I was trying to get across. sheesh!!!

Besides, I am hearing that it's his voice strain and not so much being sick. I wish this website would let us know what the hell?? Ya know? It's frustrating when we care soooo much and yet we aren't given any news!! SCHEISS!

But but but :D , still Cristy !!! , cold is virus related, and , as you have already said , it has some relationship with weather .

( " Some of the viruses that cause the common colds are seasonal, occurring more frequently during cold or wet weather ")

Welllll we can go back and forth on this issue and not even doctors can agree!! :P Sooo....I'll just finish this with, it's mostly human contact that causes illnesses.

Okay, I have my own opinion about ilnesses.
I do believe in the modern theory, every, and each illness is a synbol of your spirit.
You are directly related with viruses, but you will be infected just if you have a deep-spiritual reason.
I can recommend two german doctors' books to everyone: Dr. Torwald Dethlefsen, Dr. Dachke.

Ok, but anyhow: I wish you a speedy recover Klaus.
My sinpathy is with you special angel.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,
The Scorpions are THE NICEST GUYS.

Well, very wet weather here and in Bretagne too, I could understand that it could disturb health and either if it's his voice because I suppose it's hard to sing day after day...

what I simply wish is that you will recover health very soon Klaus.
Take care of yourself please :)

kisses to you ;)
