Hi FOSers

I am still alive, no worries, even I am not present in the forum recently, The reason is simple. I have various things to do in my quite seldom private life.
If I would have been on the road I would have had more time to join here.

Scorps are touring France these days, I wish I could be there but next week I am hitting the road to Russia - can´t wait to go back to this beautiful country.

Of course I have acknowledged the countless birthday wishes and I gratefully appreciated it.
I thanked You all before in the birthday topic here as well on FB, here´s another big hug to all of You for reminding me that I was getting older another year last week. There´s nothing I can do infact to accept anyone calles me old man now.
Beiing over 50 means not only getting a bit wiser and cooler it also means that time is running faster and faster and I am coming close to the day when I have to settle down. After all these years of "You Rock, We Roll" I came to the conclusion that I have to do a change in my life.
I do not know "officially" when this change is going to happen but what I can say is:


I`LL QUIT, WHEN THE SCORPIONS QUIT


So if anybody might consider the farewell tour of the Scorpions is also my farewell tour, he is right

Hiiii Ben yes some people.. like me have wished you "happy birthday" several times I came here before and then Nadya told me there was a special topic for you in the forum, and on fb it's a different place Birthday time is one of these special times where we can send our best wishes and surely it's a tease but a pleasure too to send you wishes for your birthday several times and not necessarily to recall you you're getting older !!!
I don't think that getting over 50, nor 60, is a sign you're getting an old man/woman because as we often say "age is a number", our body has got his age I agree, but our spirit can be quite different (sometimes I think I will be 45 .. yes, but I feel so young in my mind and I won't change). We have an obvious example with our Scorpions who always get an irresistible charm , like you : your salt/pepper beard is transforming you in a charming wise man
Yes time is running faster, I'm often surprised by that, but you know, future does not exists, what really exists is the present moment and all we have to do is to enjoy each good present moment in life. So you can think about the future and about what you will do when you will quit, but perhaps you will find a solution and when time to quit comes life will give you a best opportunity, perhaps to go on rocking your life who knows
I knew you were busy because yeah I knew that the tour was going in France when I arrived at the zénith of Caen I was thinking of you and wondered if you were here before spending a wonderful rocking moment with my favorite group forever

Hi Ben, it seems that I missed your birthday, so Happy Belated Birthday to you! I'm glad you are enjoying some personal time before hitting the road again. That's a big decision to make, to change your lifestyle like that, but that's the best way to make that big of a change.....when you have the control over it and the time to figure things out and make it work, and not to make a change because you have to. Since you have made that decision, I kind of like the idea that you and the Scorpions will wind things down together.
Until then, you have a lot of rock 'n roll ahead of you!
