hey, my mom and i watch this program i think it was on the discovery channel called finding of Atlantis a couple weeks back..anyways they are looking for it on the south of italy in a dried up mosh area..my question to you..do you know of this and have they found anything yet other then what they have already found...which is underwater stairs and walls and 2 artifact statues and the priest palace...as history states there was many earthquakes that had caused alot fo tsunomis that had covered the supposed Atlantis supposively in that area from volcano eruptions...if ya posibly know anythign let me know ok..i'm curious what they've come up with..love ya much!

And I thought this was going to show my award for being the "drama queen" of the fourm..... :angelic-red:

The problem with archaeology is that sometimes archaeologists try to put a square peg in a round hole.....and this is somewhat the case for locating Atlantis.....as the only written history about Atlantis comes from Plato and if I remember correctly it is fiction-based as where Plato compares to different city types......(however I could be wrong on this)....I think you meant to say Spain and not Italy.....as the site is near to Cadiz in Spain and has been worked from 2006 - 2009 but if I understand the show first aired in 2011 and the Spanish were not impressed with the presenter....and to my knowledge nothing more was done after the show was aired....

There are still those that think Atlantis is off the coast of England or near Cuba....so this will be a debate that will continue for some time to come.....

However if you ever go to Spain....Cadiz is worth a visit.....and if you need anything about church/churchyard archaeology let me know.....sorry I could not be of more help with this subject.....
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.
I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

lmao at the drama queen award..nope thats the only one ya get sister sue you...thanks for the info about atlantis..you're right it was spain and i believe thats where atlantis is..i don't know where i got italy..maybe i'm think of the food to much..hahaha...but yea one day when i have the money i would love to go to spain and to italy after i stay a month in germany hahaha...its a bummer that guy can't do that show in spain i thought he was doing an awesome job..maybe spain will change their minds that could hopefully happen...so how are things with you aslan..i sure do miss ya....maybe we can make each other a reuniting award for us here on the forum hahaha..anyways stay in touch ok?...i'll keep all your info handy for later on down the line!..hugs nunny! :wink:
