SETLIST "FINAL STING TOUR"

one one hand you are right one the other one it is proclaiming on a very high level.

yes, for us the real fans it is important to have other songs in the set, for us there are much more songs to be played even one last time. how many are we every eving in a 10.000 venue? How many react like this guy:

http://www.abload.de/img/eventimkieez.jpg

it is a review on eventim, where the guy writes that he went to a show, wanted song like still loving you or wind of change and then the band payed hard rock tuenes like the zoo what disapointed him. how many people like these guy are going to see the band? how many people go there for the first time who are willing to hear the 'HITS' and nothing else? be tollerant think about that.

but I didn't tell they shouldn't play the hits, the encore they play is perfect for this purpose, don't expect casual fans to know much more songs other than Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, Wind Of Change and a few more. If you read my first topic in this page, I named Tease Me Please Me, Sting in The Tail and Make it Real, I don't think casual fans would be disappointed if they play other songs instead of those. As you can see I am tollerant, but you also have to know that there are many great and loyal fans that followed 30+ concerts of the band, so those people deserve to see some changes when they attend the last shows of their favourite band ever!

I also feel more dissapointed than happy about that. Actually, i've been waiting for something that could possibly go alongside with the main title of the tour which is "Final sting". Is that a real Final sting? Am i right?...

@RoR did not mean you with my post, meant ist general.

and yes, I would prefere bad boys instead of the zoo. the best is yet to come wtf - but when the band decides to play that set ... I will have to live with that as far as I got a ticket. maybee they will change the setliste again while they tour through france (hard to believe but who knows)

I'm happy that they play We' Burn The Sky and In Trance. these song are my favorite from the 70.
I love the song Coming Home too!
But why they play The Best Is Yet To Come and no Raised On Rock? Raised On Rock is the best song from Sting In The Tail..
The show should start with a song like Don't Make No Promises.
They should not play Tease Me Please Me and Lonving You Sunday Morning from the set instead of Dynamite and Bad Boys Running Wild.

Sad to read all the comment here. but i agree with you :(

the setlist can be changed a lot more than it and the classic can stay.
here is a wishlist, even if it's useless.

Coming Home
Hit Between The Eye
Blood Too Hot
the Zoo
Coast to Coast
The Rhythm Of Love
Lovedrive
Hey You
Raised On Rock
Lust Or Love
Alien Nation
In Trance
We'll Burn The Sky
Love Em Or Leave em
Kottak Attack
Black out
Six String Sting
Big City night
Still loving you
Wind of change
Rock you like a hurricane
When The smoke is going down

Could have added, Deep and Dark, Twentieth Century Man, China White, Don't Believe Her, Hour 1, Every Minute every day......

Make it Real...Change the Final Sting Tour Setlist

Unread postby markmcelroy » April 1st, 2012, 2:52 am

Not in any order.

Woman
Lonely Nights
Does Anyone Know
Where The River Flows
A Moment in a Million Years
Love ´Em or Leave ´Em
Deep and Dark
Hour I
321
Your Last Song
Humanity
Rock Zone
Turn You On
SLY
Can´t Live Without You
Falling in Love
Always Somewhere
Is There Anybody There?
We´ll Burn the Sky
In Trance

I saw them a total of 7 times since the mid 80's. In 2010 I saw 3 shows and the setlist was the same. They need to get rid of that quack quack opening song Sting in the Tail. I deserve a different show this time around with all money I spent on seeing them in 2010

Scorpions Setlist 2010
Sting In The Tail
Make It Real
Bad Boys Running Wild
The Zoo
Coast To Coast
Loving You Sunday Morning
The Best Is Yet To Come
Wind of Change
Holiday
Raised On Rock
Tease Me Please Me
Dynamite
Kottak Attack (Drum Solo)
Blackout
Six String Sting (Guitar Solo)
Big City Nights

Encore
No One Like You
Rock You Like A Hurricane

nonono guys! No more wishes concerning set list, because set list is absolutely not a thing we have to pray for...

Here's new awesome epic solo from Rudy Schenker :D
Watch on youtube.com

Can you imagine what might happen to other songs they do not peform? :) They can simply turn to the new unexpected ones :D Oh, man, he used to come close to the centre, do it and then went back
Of course, i love Scorps, but playing the song for so many years and then....

We have to thank them for all the songs they've decided to play seamlessly for us!! :D

That removed the bad boys-that's right! Tired of this song already ...But that's my opinion. But this little ... Again. Clear the Make It Real, The Zoo, Loving You Sunday Morning, Tease Me Please Me and add songs from the period, 93-2007 year. The album Savage Amusement-too beautiful album. Why not play songs from this album? It is one of the best, and for me the best album!

everyone has his best songs, and they are all different... but I can see that many agree on the overplayed songs (Make It Real, Loving You Sunday Morning, Tease Me Please Me...)as for Bad Boys, they said many times that it's somewhat strange to play that song when you are a grandpa, and well, I agree

I'm back from St Etienne show :( :?
same old clasical setlist, just In trance add and BBRW removed.
The intro was the same than before, the videos on Kottak attack are a bit longer but KA was played very fast, no audience part.

I met people who were in Amiens and they told me that it wasn't the same show!

I'm very desapointed because I'm back from 3 Uli's show where I could heard the sail of charon, in trance, we'll burn, dark lady, fly, pictured life ... even they need a million ! that a set ! :D
