That is all that I was trying to say and yes I too am waiting to see where they are playing.

I think we are on the same page, we just want them to play here as much as they can. :)

And yes we are jealous of the other countries getting more Scorpions concerts! But I consider us lucky, because there are places where they have never played before - like Australia.

I'm just happy and can't wait for them to come back here no matter where/with who they end up playing with. Once the lights go down, I won't notice if there is anyone missing in the arena until the Scorpions leave the stage. :)

I really hope it's not Dokken. Not because I don't like them, I actually did back before all the drama and break-ups. But they were never all that popular in North America to begin with and the tours I saw them on, they were horrible. :(

We've got to be overlooking a band out there. Something old school but yet still around and kicking with an allegiance of fans who are crazy like all of us. :) UFO, MSG, Skid Row

Just kicking some names out there.

Please, not Dokken again. I saw them open for Scorpions in Moline in 2010, and Don Dokken was terrible! You could barely hear him, he couldn't hit half the notes, he kept rambling on before the songs, and he was spitting all over the stage and barely missing the fans. He was the embodiment of what the Scorpions are trying to avoid by retiring now. After seeing him, I understood their decision to "retire on top". If he looked that bad in 2010, I'm honestly surprised that Dokken is still touring 2 years later.

That said, nothing will keep me away from the shows this summer; it's just an added bonus to actually enjoy the opener.

How about Tesla, Cinderella or Ratt who opened for them in Chicago in 2008. If not any of those, how about bring a band from Europe like Whitesnake, Krokus, Saxon or Accept. Or are they too heavy? Their are newer bands too like Kissin' Dynamite and Vanderbuyst that they could give a shot to. Just some names to toss around.

They opened for them in 2010....don't think they want a repeat.

Oh please not Ratt that's as bad as Dokken. Dokken and Ratt should tour together but not with The Scorpions. I don't think it will be Cinderella again, I mean they haven't had a new record in 20 years?

My vote would be for Tesla, they have new material, the music has melody and I never really classified them as a "Hair band" sure they have (had) hair, but no make up, no hair spray and no frilly outfits.

But I think that they would need someone else too along with Tesla, maybe MSG?

I saw Dokken last July and it's true ... Don is shot. His band was kickin' but he's the only original member and the weakest in the group. They could get a good singer and be a kick-ass Dokken tribute band.

And I saw Ratt and Scorps in 2010 and really just wanted Ratt to do "Round and Round" and get off the stage.

I see that Dallas is included in the new tour dates!! Well, it's Grand Prairie actually, but it's close enough. I hope I can make it to this show!! With Tesla opening, it should be awesome. I saw the Scorpions once in 2002, and that's it. I'd love to see them again, and I haven't seen Tesla at all.

Tesla was so bad we boo'd them off the stage in grand rapids Mi on the unbreakable tour . I hope we get MSG in Chicago , like last year . I'd say Dokken but there on a package tour all ready . Cinderella would be great or best choice Europe . But anyway why the $%^& Tesla .

What happened with Tesla? Just the crowd not liking them or were they having a bad day?

I have seen them quite a few times and while you usually can't wait for the opening act to get off the stage, I never have seen them get boo'ed off.

Just wondering if maybe it was a sound issue or what.

No kidding...I've seen Tesla 13X and they ALWAYS deliver the goods. Tesla is the only band I love more than the Scorpions. No Cleveland or NE Ohio dates yet...chances are they won't play Cincy, Toledo or Columbus. I'm only 1 Hr and 30 Min away...or Detroit would be close enough. Other than that, I won't be able to travel much farther. CMON SCORPS!! One more time in CLEVELAND!!!!!!!

No sound problems there set was dragging on way too long , There were pretty bad the show before as well . There's so many other bands that could have been picked , They play a grunge type whiny vocal pop metal . Just annoying , anyway does not matter anymore there playing on the whole tour . Now i don't have to rush to the concert . I hope Milwaukee is still on so i don't have to pay 100 to se 90min of the scorpions . I really do not like what they are doing this time around . I think they should have retired all ready . Last year was the best way to go out .

In the 26 years I've been following Tesla, you are the very first person to label Tesla with words like "Whiny", "Pop" and "Grunge". Man, talk about getting your street cred shot in one sentence. Are you kidding me??
Tesla is nothing but a hard rockin, bluesy band. Jeans, t shirts, Marshall stacks and Gibson guitars. It's everything a real band should be.

Yes, Tesla is a great live band. I just seen them in L.A. in Jan...One of the best concerts ever. Also, i saw them last year @ Thunder Valley in Lincoln CA....These guys are just great live. If you think the Scorps should have retired...Then so should you. Thank you for allowing me to appreciate the Scorps and Tesla more.
