Will they be able to fill up these venues here in the USA?

Depending on who else will be on the upcoming USA tour, it will be very interesting to see how well tickets sell. I don't think the Scorps alone can do it though. What do you think?

I think it will depend on the setlist and stage set up. But these days you need a good opening act especially if your a rock band that is known by most people an 80s hair band :?

Not if they play the LAME setlist they did on last years tour. And that "drum solo/medly" was absolutely lame (KOttak playing drums to pre-recorded mix of Scorpions songs... really really dumb). As much as I love the old Scorpions (pre-LoveAtFirstSting), their concerts are very geared to the "newer" fans of post-LoveAtFirstSting songs. My guess is these guys don't exactly recall how to play their older stuff and/or they're afraid nobody will recognize any of it. Until I hear about the latest set list, there's no way I'm gonna go see this show again.

what is worse is during the drum solo the fake crowd cheering when a studio CD picture appears on the screen

Something says to me: the USA tour will be a huge FAIL! :(

They shouldve chosen Staples Center and the venue in San Diego for 2010, not now.

I really hope Im wrong!

If they will play the same setlist of these last 2 years surely it will be an epic fail  I think they should change also the set stage..and the management :D but for this it's too late

Why do so many of you think that the setlist will determine ticket sales? You really think that many people look at the setlist and buy their tickets based on that? Personally, I don't think they're popular enough here to do well at those huge venues no matter what set they play.

The management this round is just not right.

Now i really dont care about the sale. If the tickets sale goes well, then good for them. If the it doesnt , then well, I can spend less to get a better seat from ticket brokers.

honestly in this economy i don't see it .
too many missteps , i wish them all the best !
if they played anywhere within 3 hrs away of me i would go .
sad seeing that rip off company charging $500 for their photo op so called meet and great .
least i only paid $200 and got front row , couldn't really afford that but at least it was doable .

Im not saying this because im pissed , but , it was going to be difficult for them BEFORE the high gas prices. Now ? Good luck.

I wouldn't be surprised if many bands cancel shows this year.
