US Dates - Meet & Greet Offered

US Dates - Meet & Greet Offered

Unread postby Scorplady » March 1st, 2012, 7:27 pm

Hey everyone - in case you didn't know. The San Diego concert is already on sale as of posting this. They have all sorts of VIP things including a meet & greet with front row for over $500. :(

Also if you are in Dallas the tickets say they go on sale tomorrow March 2nd, but they are already on sale if you want to do the VIP stuff.

That's so sad that they put the prices so high. :(

It's starting to look like it won't be general admission but actual rows as well.

Just giving everyone a head's up on what I've seen so far. Reno, Dallas and San Diego are the only concerts listed so far.

Good luck! Keep on trying. I spent yesterday doing the same for Iron Maiden tickets, sometimes they seem to add more about an hour later, I don't understand why. :(

I just checked for Dallas for VIP and it's not even first row, it's 5th row and for the full package it costs $520.

Unbelievable. :(

I have a feeling those sections are reserved for the VIP prices. I just checked to see if I could get anything for 1 ticket with VIP and it gave me section A. :(

yeah, those first few rows are def for VIPers. but hopefully they'll release more seats in these sections. I'd love to buy the M&G ticket, but like you said, the price is ridiculously high

I really am having a hard time believing the Scorpions know about this. That's not how they treat their fans. I understand paying more for VIP if you can/want to, but if you can't or don't want to, that means you cannot be up front at their stage for their final concerts.

We should at least have a fighting chance. :(

on the price range, it says FLOOR SEATING US $55.00 - US $75.00
so I believe there is still chance to get the front floor seats, they just havent released those tickets yet. they just hold those good seats at the very beginning to sell as many VIP as possible. I'm giving another try on general public sale

I'm doing the same thing for some Iron Maiden tickets that I didn't get for the presale. But I have little hope (well maybe a little hope) that I will be lucky enough once the general public gets their hands on the tickets.

It's funny, I was talking to someone yesterday about how I would love to have rows again. Just so I didn't have to stress out about how to get to the front of the stage and worrying about it.

Now I have my wish, but if they don't give us a chance to buy the good seats at a normal price...I will be very sad. :(

it's not hard to buy general admission tix, but when it comes to fixed seats, it's extremely hard to fight over those scalpers. i'm pretty sure we still have chance though, there cant be 100 people buying M&G. I bought my ticket to the 2010 tour few weeks before the show, and I still got the 3rd row.

I hope and I would pray (if I was religious) that you are right!

The thing is since this is the final tour, I think they will sell those tickets this time around.

The only bonus I see is that there are so many concerts this summer that some people might have already spent their budgets on concerts already.

I'm trying to be positive, but at the same time if it's the same for all the dates I wanted to go to, I will be very sad and end up not going. (Yeah, I admit being spoiled, up front is where I need to be!)

Well, like so many others, I can't afford the VIP tickets...over $1000 for the two if us is ridiculous, especially in this economy. SO disappointed and shocked...we had VIP for the beginning of this tour and they were about $200 apiece. This is really sad for those people who have waited a long time for this opportunity and it is completely out of reach for most fans...I was so excited for their return to my city, but now do let down by the whole VIP thing. :( :( :( :(

I gave up now, wait till the day after tomorrow and see. I had plan to buy M&G before since I never met the band and it might be my last chance, so disappoint today. Isnt the M&G package is like $250 two years ago?

EXACTLY KIM !!!! Soooooooooo very disappointing especially for those like us who have supported this band our whole lives. I'm so upset about these prices I could just cry. Like Kittybeast stated in another topic It sure would have been nice if they set aside & offered some Front Row Tickets exclusively for Forum Fan Members at a FAIR price. I usually end up paying $150.00 to $250.00ea. which is still way expensive, but over $1,000.00 is way out of control and unfair.

Did you get your tickets today ?

Yeah but notice that there are no front rows or anything within the first 10 rows.

This means those rows are being reserved for the VIP thing or maybe for special guests of the band.

I've been a dedicated Scorpions fans for as long as I can remember and stuff like this gets me angry. I thought these concerts were for the fans? Or is it just for the fans with lots of extra money? :(

If it's impossible for us to secure good tickets without paying the premium VIP crazy price then this is very wrong. I am trying to hope for the best that there is a chance, but it's looking rather grim.

This is not right. :(

Were you able to get a front row ticket?

It would be great if you did - that way there is hope for the rest of us. :)
