Nope .. Dasha asked Wolfgang to open this section to succeed the previous tour.

A radio interview with Klaus aired yesterday on an LA radio station; link can be found on home page of www.scorpsnews.com Klaus said June & July will be in US for that leg of tour. No specific dates yet, but at least we have an idea.

Scorpions Management: What is the delay in announcing dates? Here in NYC Roger Waters has just booked a major Wall concert at Yankee Stadium on July 6. Talk is getting hot that other bands will play at this particular show. There's increasing chatter of Judas Priest and a reunited Black Sabbath tour hitting the East coast June through August (god willing for Tommy). If 2010 is any indication, I guess we will get a preliminary tour schedule for Scorpions in March. Then again, if the show is going to feature the same old set list just forget about it. Fans deserve a much better setlist cataloging the awesome career of the band. If it's truly the last show here, what do you have to loose by playing different songs? Klaus if the vocals are tough, do what everyone else is doing these days and sample, but sweet Jesus please change the set list!

Thank you about the set list..This is the final year there is no tomorrow with touring so Klaus needs to go out on a high note with the fans..Forget about the solo career you want to have in 2013 and start thinking about the Scorpions fans. We need a new set list with some excitement...Eliminate Kottak Attack that is a waste of 9 minutes.you can add two songs to the set list. Add 70's era songs in a medley form and please stop playing ballads during the encores..Encores should be for Rockers like Rock you Like a hurricane,No One like you, Dynamite and Can't Get Enough.

Besides the Black Sabbath/Judas Priest now Def Leppard/Poison and also KISS/Motley Crue for Fall 2012..I do know that the band is still in talks with a few bands about being their special guest. But the only problem is that the only interest they are getting from other bands are Hair metal bands that are not relevant and will not help the Scorps on bringing in bigger crowds. And before anyone jumps on my case that the band does not need a big opening act to attract crowds. YES THEY DO!!! the Scorpions are not big here anymore and the only reason there were big crowds in 2010 for the Scorps was because the band had just announced they were retiring. Now two years later fans are over the retirement statement. And i know some people will say i would rather have the Scorpions play in 2-3,000 seat theaters instead of playing in 20,000 seaters. To me that is the dumbest statement i have ever heard. Bands who were as big as the Scorpions were back in the day does not end their career playing small theaters here in North America.

i think there will be less people at their show in 2012. some people will say i saw them in 2010 and don't beleive that they are retiring cause they are back i guess.

i doubt the Judas Priest/ Sabbath tour will happen and the Motley crue/ Kiss tour..

Like Scott said they need to finish in a large capacity arenas like with have here in Canada and USA. Been to Europe in the last couple of years to see them where there were between 10,000 to 15,000 at the show. The band draws from the emotions from the fans and the fans draw the emotions from the band is makes the show not just good but great. When the arenas are small you just don't great the same feeling, so they need to have a great opening act that can draw the fans in.

The JP/Sabbath tour is 50% chance of happening..The KISS/CRUE tour is about 95% set and ready to go for August-December in Arenas and amphitheaters...

I think we are all on the same page as fans - we want to see the Scorpions go out with a bang right? We want them to kick our butts and leaving us wanting more and more on the North American continent for each and every show all of us are able to go to. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I want and it seems to be what others want as well.

What about what the Scorpions want to do? Or what about what they can do? Yes, we love them and we want them to come to our home town or play this or that song or even have a great opening band so that they can fill every seat because apparently they aren't popular enough in North America. For example, I don't want Klaus or any of the guys hurting themselves because they overdid it and are forced to cancel other shows. That's not fair to anyone.

I'm not a big fan of drum or guitar solos, but it's part of the show and it gives the guys a chance to cool down a bit backstage as well as the fans. Besides that is part of a rock and roll concert if you ask me.

I just want to be able to see them as many times as possible before the curtain is drawn and the final sting ends. I don't care who the opening group is and I don't care if 3 people will be at the concert, I'll be there soaking in every last note and smiling for a long time afterwards. Hell, they can play the same song for 2 hours and I'll be happy.

I guess what I'm trying to say is just be happy they are returning to our shores. Be happy they are still playing, be happy that they are still the Scorpions everywhere they go.

(But I sure do wish they would hurry up and announce the dates, there is much planning to do!)

I heard about those rumour too but how do you know that the Kiss and Crue tour are almost confirmed?
i hope it will include show in Canada too. i love Kiss and Motley Crue.
Hope vince Neil will not quit Motley Crue too....

Seems we can not do a lot about their setlist, i emailed Matthias about this sometime but he don't answer this.
when the tour started in 2010 they played song like Animal Magnetism, He's a woman, she's a man, Is there Anybody there, 321, we'll burn the Sky. and the setlist get shorter after a couple of show...
