Hello,
it is a quite vital and interesting discussion here. I have visited Matthias several times in his store here in Munich, also James and Herman. But the absolute "highlight" in my life as a Scopions-fan (which is since 1990) was the M&G I have won at the facebook-contest last year and I met hem before their show in Munich last year. We were only a total of 4 persons (fans) and the band was with us like 20 minutes for pics/autographs/conversation, really excellent!
Through this forum and meeting other fans in Matthias`store or concerts I know that there are a lot of people who would "die for" meeting the whole band once in there life. But either they don´t have the luck that I had or simply not the "connections/informations" that some of you here seem to have or maybe not the time to spend hours and hours waiting.
So I tell you sincerely that I YES would be ready to spend some money to meet them again and of course it feels maybe different if they select YOU to meet them because they recognize your support as a true fan but if there was no other way. I think no one would spend such much money if he wasn´t a fan too and like I told you before this way some more fans would get the chance to meet them. If this possibility is announced with anticipation I think there is the chance to save some money during the months before the event to afford it.

Yes !yes !!
Sincerely I believe that all young fans I meet you at the concerts who once paid their studies ,their rent ........ 1 or 2 concerts of Scorpions a year ( saved by eating pastas every day !) and all those who have small incomes and who get into debt to attend at their show! I know it !! Then I think that for them 150E" the package "!!! ?
Saved is very difficult at the moment , we must work a lot, have good incomes, it's not the case of everybody and the unemployment reached record levels !!! of course, it's a real pleasure to attend their show and I will go as long as I work and help me my daughter ! I would be happy that my daughter can meet the band but not in these conditions !! :(
Fans are present for many years as well as the new generation who buy CD, DVD, Tshirt etc ......................
They often wait for hours watching their arrival in the hope of a smile, a handshake,an autograph from their favorite band !! I think these fans deserve respect ! !
That's what being a fan and that's what makes the magic and the atmosphere of a Rockkkkkkkkkkkk concert of Scorpions !!!!!!
A lot of people says that all" the package Meet & Greet" will be in front of in the concerts because they will arrive two hours before!! I hope that it will not be the case !! Reassure us ! please !!
But Scorpions ! Don't forget your unconditional fans who follow you always even if this process " Package !" isn't the best taste ! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Just a quick heads up, the merchandise bundle you get with the meet and greet would be well over 100€ if bought seperatly. So actually what your paying to meet the band is much less.

You made no mistake.....as another name for donkey is ass....those of us who speak English understood very well what you were saying and took no offense to it what so ever....however another word for bum, behind, rear end, bottom, or the thing you sit on is also called an ass in english..... 8)

It all depends on how the word is used in regards to its meaning....and since you were talking about an animal and not a body part....you used the word perfectly.... 8)

@ Aslan
I thank you for your explanations about the donkey or ass !!

ABOUT " Meet & Greet " I understood (very well) the message !! :) 8) Spare the rod and spoil the child ! :)
If I have offended some people they are my most sincere excuses but no one ever stop me to say what I think and my daughter has the same behavior !!

One more thing to say ! People waiting in queues didn't find normal that the " Meet & Greet " fit next to them! There were other entries away !
In my case one thing shocked me: I saw disabled persons with a cane and in wheelchair waiting at the gates at least an hour and the " Meet & Greet " pass before them !!

That night will be sweet !! Bye !

You meant disables attending the M&G session or they were... sorry but I can't help it
If they were there looking for some help and empathy... well, that shocks me too, people with too much money throwing on stuffs and people suffering!

The true thing was : They call for the disabled persons in front of the gates ( they usually and normally come in long before everybody,so they can take time to do things) BUT oh lalala the meet&greets golden fans weren't there yet , so they told the disabled ones they had to wait standing (there were a few guys who coud hardly stand by the way) They waited more than 1 hour in the cold standing while the Golden Fans came in, and believe me they came one by one little by little. I think today we have lost our priorities : humanity :(
