Four weeks (more or less)in November

Today Paris, load in at an TV Studio downtown and access wasn´t possible before 07:30h. I had to park up somewhere outside the city and drive in this morning. Who ever drove downtown the city of love in the morning rush hour knows what this means. Ditsance from parking was 26 km and it took me 2hrs 25mins surrounded by Paris citizens never had a lesson at driving school at all. These people here are all completly nuts. But the craziest ones are the bikers and scooters, all of them are self designed suiziders they risk their lifes every the seconds by que jumping through the traffic. I wonder why the Boulevard de Peripherique isn´t a grave yárd already

Yo Hans I consider myself being one of the less lucky guys in my company cuz I have the very last delivered Volvo Truck with "Tacho- Diagramm-Scheibe" so George Orwell´s "1984" didn´t yet come true for me

Sooner or later I will be fu**ed too cuz now my truck has got half a million kms and it´s almost 5 years old

Tochdown Lisbon!!

It´s been 1835 km from Paris to here and there was everything infact of snow, I had sunshine, rain and last nite heavy fog when crossing the hills around Castello Branco. Getting out of Paris downtown was the usual nightmare..
Like an austrian former bodybuilder used to say: I´LL BE BACK!!!

Again there was another example of how small is the world, met the convoy of 22 Trucks from the Britney Spears Tour which fnished last night at the Altantico Arena.
Had breakfast with my old friend Roger from EST London, we haven´t met since the Madonna Tour 2009 in Patras/Greece when sailing the same boat to Italy.

Security stuff from the Atlantico Arena have been very polite, they quickly arranged a secure parking for the truck, offered me a coffee and gave me a ride by car to the hotel.
Rest of the day is off to chill ou8t later on diner somewhere dorwntown and early tomorrow morning back to the arena.
Let´s see if the fans in Lisbon can top the Geneva audience...

I call myself here in the forum "Scorpions Truck" so I´m the truck driver of the Scorpions.

So it´s Your dream to be a truck driver? Wake up and qualify for a proper job and avoid getting a gipsy like me.
It sounds great to be around but at the end it´s just a job with stress and pain, trouble with cops and customs officers and stupid car drivers etc.

If Your at the show tomorrow just find a vicious looking fat f**ck with stupid terms written on his t shirt, that´s me.

I´ve once was parked at Geiselwind, the biggest truck stop in Europe and that day there was the local trucker festival with this strange guy named Tom Astor, a female Singer who calls herself Country Lady Dagmar, and a few other so called country stars. My footnails were rolling and I ran away.
Don´t take me wrong I sometimes like to liosten to country, I also toured with Willie Nelson a few years agon but that what those German trucker country stars do has nothing, *** nothing to do with country at all

After the truck is unloaded and the stage is about to be setup for me there is the nice part of the day ahead. Lunch, than go sleep, get up again and have diner. After diner it´s show time, another hour of sleep and back to work, load the truck and hit the road again

They have close to 1000 members ( I'm the only American) and they are all going to France's shows, you could meet a lot of new friends in the next couple weeks

Just a quick hello from breakfast at the border Portugal/Spain folks.

Almost 18000 *** crazy fans turned the house around last nite in Lisbon. From my point of view this was the best Crowd the Scorpions had yet in 2011. The noise of the audience when asking for the encores was nearly effecting a tinnitus to me.

So here is the challenge for the CrazyScoprs-Fans all over France:

To top this Lisbon audience will be a real tough job, so do not say a word 24 hrs before You come to a show wherever in Fance next few weeks to be able for much more yelling and screaming like the fans did yesterday night!!!!!!!!
Show the band and the sCREWpions that You´re capable to pull the roofs off the venues.
The one at Atlantico Arena is still there but the river beside what close to boil.

THANKS A LOT to the Lisbon local crew, on behalf of them all I just wanna name my long time friend
Lino Machado, he and his fellows loaded the truck after the show fastest ever in 2011.

If I think of the atmosphere of the Acoustica show in Lisboa, which comes through the album, I have imaginations about last nite. (or don't have I?)
Could the greek audience hit the portuguese one over?

And.. though I'm not French and I won't unfortunately attend any french show this year... but, after France tour there will be Brussels show...so... knowing how many of scorpsfans will be there, I can say: I ( and I think the others also) ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE of overscreaming the Lisbon audience in Brussels!!!!! YEAHHHH!!!!
