Four weeks (more or less)in November

Countdown for Geneva load in starts right now with 3 days 19 hrs an 35 mins. For me this means getting ready my personal gear for four weeks on the road again and leave home tomorrow late afternoon. First there are some 600 km´s to drive to the Scorpions warehouse. sCREWpions will load the truck wednesday morning. After all will be packed the journey brings me from Hannover to the swiss border at Basel.
I will try to make kind of a tour report from the truck drivers point of view in the next few weeks, so anyone interested in this, stay tuned

Nope, it´s not the same one I had last year, I changed truck in January this year. It looks same but it is a bit different, got a 520hp engine and fortunately I do not have a digital tacho. Anything else on it is almost equal to the entire fleet of our company

Ha! So it's an FH13 now! They look the same indeed. I saw it quickly in Bielefeld but didn't bother to read the signs on the cab. And no digital tacho? Its must be from 2005 than eh? Or are Scorps drivers excempt from such regulatins?

It´s the last ever delivered non-digi-tacho Volvo from 2006, and I hope it will stay alive a few more years.
In Bielefeld I was parked away from the gig so I doubt You saw my truck. We had about four trucks there...

Exceptions to driving time regulations etc. for Scorpions drivers???? Funny Idea, will mention this to the cops when they stop me next time, guess I will look in some strange breathless police officers faces.
