Hi, and welcome to the forum Roxanne.

I also enjoyed your unique introduction.
If I started to write my list, it would be too long, so I won't to.

Just a few sentences about my self:

I am Gabi, 42 years old, from Hungary.
am proud of my culture, language, and nationality.
According to my qualification, I am a teacher, and am going to work as it from January.
Now I have a quite different job.

I like so many things, and don't like other things. :)
I have many bad, and good atributes.
I give a little taster of them here time by time.
I love reading, and listening to music the most, and being in contact with my familymembers, and friends.
I enjoy my international friendships.
I am a huge kid-maniac, love anymals, esp dogs.
Love eating, including munching sweets, hate being on diet lol.
love smell of parfumes, and cosmetics generally.
and love noices, smell, and perception of nature.
At last hate my disaster English.

Could I ask you to call me simply Gabi?
Thank you!
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,
The Scorpions are THE NICEST GUYS.

Animal welfare, which is caring for and meeting an animal's needs, is practiced in the sport of rodeo. Rodeo people respect, admire, and want to take care of the animals that are so important to their way of life.
It's obvious that rodeo is not taxing for the huge, powerful bulls that toss cowboys around like rag dolls, but some people, like yourselves may wonder if roping is hard on calves.
A calf has more than tripled its weight when it is first roped, which is at 225-250 pounds, and is a strong animal. It takes the special roping and handling skills exhibited by the rodeo cowboy to manage the strength of a calf whose instinct is to flee or fight rather than cuddle.
I assure you, I've been hurt more times than any calf has.
The roping contest is an extension of the necessary skills developed by ranch cowboys to hold cattle for doctoring, etc., without benefit of pens and corrals. The muscular structure of a calf and its hairy, thick hide allows prudent roping without harm. As is observed, immediately upon removal of the rope, calves jog trot out of the arena in a most unconcerned manner. Calves, who soon outgrow weight limits for the event, then fulfill the same purpose they would have in the dairy or beef industry if they had not been in rodeo — or perhaps grow up to be a rodeo bucking bull.
Injury to animals is infrequent with rates documented at a small part of 1%. The use of horses and bulls in rodeo is so undemanding that they stay healthy and perform well for many years. It is not unusual for a bucking horse to be kicking up its heels in fine fashion over the age of 25 and many bulls are still active buckers at 15 years of age. Veterinarians attribute it to the good care they receive which includes quality feed and adequate exercise.

Your description of the rodeo sounds an aweful lot like this piece in the National Senior Pro Rodeo Association's "Animal Welfare" section. Hmmmm, interesting.....

Yes, all professional rodeo association's (PRA) submit the same 9 documents regarding animal welfare with any and all doc's released to the public
I provided information cuts with only the facts that pertained to her concern, regarding animal welfare.(calf)
PETA uses tactic lies regarding animal welfare to scare money they need to support themselves out of people.
Nothing gets people to open up they're wallets faster than the thought of an abused animal.
However, people no longer buy, just because someone's selling.....PETA, lost the American people's faith by being dishonest to them..

What exactly was your point ?

I think PETA does a good job , Roxanne ......I`m not talking about this specific issue , but they shoot a lot of videos to expose animal cruelty.....and I respect that.

Hey Leb Yellow Butterfly,
No, you haven't seen crazy until you attend a show in the USA.
I don't care what it costs, when I see the Scorpions I want to be up front partying with Klaus, because he's worth every cent.
The girls are wild and start lifting their shirts up showing him their breasts....He loves it, and starts licking the drums sticks then slowly tosses it to them. Dancing wild, kneeling down with kisses for us, teasing us with a tambourine. He knows exactly what he's doing, working us all up !!
If you love his sweat, you'd really go insane over his wet drumstick....ROFL
He has the greatest energy coming off of him, you not only hear him, you feel him.
Who doesn't love Klaus ?? Who??
So, what do they do in Beirut, Lebanon for fun. I had to go and look at my globe to see where you were.
How cool to meet others from all over the world, while sitting in my favorite chair !
My pleasure meeting you.

My point is why not just refer her to the article instead of presenting those exact words like they were your own? That's called plagiarism. Besides, for someone who was "born" into the sport, I would think you should be able to come up with your own words to describe your sport and all that it entails....

HI cloervr42,
Yeah I'm hearing you, however, just like this band when you're under a signed contract, you sign over control to the machine and hope it all works out. Having said that, there is good and bad, and because animal cruelty is an issue with others who may not be familiar with the sport, we are bound to say and do in this case what we are told.. I'm also told what I'll wear, how much I can weigh, when and wear I go, It is what it is.
Welcome to the jungle cloervr42 !! ;)

I agree about Klaus' exceptional energy, I have attended 3 consecutive concerts last summer and made sure to be up front partying with the coolest guy ever!
what we do for fun in lebanon, ummm...partying, partying and partying  , Beirut is known for the nightlife, all week long, not only on weekends, check this: http://www.tntmagazine.com/tnt-today/ar ... -best.aspx last week we were ranked as 1st partying city by tnt magazine...streets are crowded all over the week, roof top pubs, night clubs, restaurants, etc...we also have a beautiful nature and weather, (weather is exactly like California's). During summer its all about beach parties, concerts, festivals..and in winter we practise skiing, we have nice slopes to ski on! it's a small but very fun and beautiful country...and we receive a lot of tourists who enjoy the touristic and archeological sites that we have..
here's one of our famous rooftop pubs, Sky Bar...enjoy!

there are a lot of rock fans in lebanon and precisely scorpions fans...it was planned to have 2 concerts in July but they were sold out 2 months before the event and luckily the Scorpions agreed to add one night that was also sold out in a week! the venue was small (6000 each night) but very beautiful, by the sea, in a very old and beautiful city, Byblos http://www.byblosfestival.org/ ...(the venue: http://www.byblosfestival.org/Venue.html) and that was the 2nd time the Scorpions come to Lebanon, after making it on 96 after the civil war where they also shot When you Came Into my life video clip..

so now you know someone in Lebanon, this small country on the globe :)) and maybe you now know too much about it...ehehehe I should have majored in marketing ,,

btw..I have two american uncles, one american cousin and my grandparents got their american citizenship in 2008, they live in Boston, MA..maybe ill go visit them someday, mom is already applying for the green card..

Cheeers!

How can I say, I am here for work I live in Italy. I am overseas most of time. I must say that here people are very friendly, in the city Riyad (3,5 milion people) you can find everything to entertain, food and beverage is good (no spirits and non alcoholic beer), but once you are used to it everything is OK. Personally I prefer Dubai and Kuwait city to Riyad, but it is also a nice city
