i'll start with the bad experience......to drive for 9 hours to arrive to Colmar at 3.30 in the morning......to find out that i have to sleep in the car till 6 am becouse...... noone works in the hotel at night, and there's a machine outside to get the key to get in the hotel. I had to insert the n° of the reservation.....and then, the credit card for the payment, but machine didn't read my credit card, so i had to wait till 6.30 am to get in (when personal was there) ,.....then, a room without bathroom....(there was no indication on the website of the hotel)......
so, after that i slept till 11 about, i went with my friend to the venue were i met Alizee, and we waited togheter the opening gates.during this time Elton came too, toghter to his sister.
the show.....it was incredible......i have to say once again thank you to Klaus, it's really a great thing that he recognize me, (and not only me) .....during the first song when he saw me he said (without microphone for sure  ) "Adrian!"....it's been great.......
The day after the show....i woke up at 9.30 about.....i planned to leave Colmar at 11/11.30 .....but at 10 we (me and my friend) were ready, so we left the f*** hotel......and we drove to Basel
There i had to meet with a friend for a lunch, but before to meet her, i decided to drive directly to the hotel where the band were on 2009....and there i saw 4 black mercedes....it was a good sign  .....so that i parked the car near there, and i went to the hotel, where in few minutes only Rudolf and Pawel left the hotel, just few minutes for a picture and they left.
After lunch (i met in the center of Basel Renata ,her husband and Paulina)...i drove to home, but before, i had a stop to Jurgen house, to spend some time with him and his family.........
Arrived at home....at 3.30......dead but very happy :D

@Alizee.....it's been great to meet u there and to spend time talking, and waiting for the show......hope to do it soon again
@Elton and his sister.......you really made me a great surprise to tell me you were there, and we really rockd the show!!!!!
@Jurgen......i have no words to say thank you, for everything , it's been a great pleasure to viist you to your home, meeting your beautiful family.......and the friendly lamas :D ...i think i thought a place for your present, DANKE SCHON!!!!

Great ,Klaus found you in the audience :D ,and still able to meet shortly Rudolf and Pawel,...
Its always a tired time ,attending a
Scorpions show, first the adrealine before, the travel,...i'm glad that you make it safe home,...and still got some time to see something of the beautiful Switzerland

:D
Adryyyy!
I am so happy for you against the bad start, I am sorry for that damn hotel, but you got all happy moments so well-deservedly.

I am always so touched by Klaus' incredible memory of faces, and his endless kindness to drop just a word to malefans, and a kiss to femalefans from the stage.

Oh, you visited Jürgen, it is wonderful!

Staying positive, hope to meet you in Vienna in November my friend.

5- Syr Daria
Then came the first band, Syr Daria from Mulhouse ( next to Colmar).Well I was surprised in a positive way. I found them good. Even though the singer made some vomiting stuff, at the end of his sentences, it was ok.It's normally not a kind of music I'm used to, but I liked it. The Lead guitar and solos were nice, the melodies as well, they gave the place a good atmosphere. The audience liked them too, they even came back to give some pics and drumsticks during the pause, before the Scorpions. :D I wish them a good carreer, to me, they deserve it .

6- Thunder & Lightning
During the 40 minutes pause, the heavy rain who was falling down began penetrating through the theater roof. All the people standing in the middle had a nice shower. Good to be in the front. The water streamed to the stage and all the cables, jacks, under the stage were flooded. Technicals checked it, it seemed ok through.
Many people find this pause boring, but personnaly, I like it. To see the last preparations, make us even more motivated. Besides, getting bored with the Italian guys is NOT possible. They found something to joke with and made fun of me, all concert long...Thanks guys !
Last guitar's check, the light was turned off..."It's time for a show!!!"

7- You're Dynamiiiite!
Großartiges Konzert!
The setlist was shorter of 2 songs, and there were no encores like in Germany last month, but it was great anyway. The audience was rockin' hard and after 3 songs, I felt the band was feeling " at home".There was a great energy between the band and the people. Like everytime after a concert, I 've a lake (yea it was raining (lack)) of words, because despite the fact it's a event shared with thousands people, Scorps shows let us a unique and personal feeling,
Thanks for this concert again !

8- Prost!
After the show, and after saying byebye to Adriano and Alessandro, Elton, his sister, two other italian fans and I went and drank something inside. We spent a good time there, ate some flammenküche, dranks beers and Riesling. We had time to exchange our views, and have nice chats with one another.
Elton drove me back to my hotel around 2 am, something I'm very grateful for. Thanks my friend :D The way back to the hotel was difficult, I could hardly recognise Colmar by night. Signs helped. I felt like partying, but the hotel was damn quiet. It will be better next time, when my mother will be there, in Brussels and Rouen. :D

9-" Home Sweet Home"
Going back home was discouraging and sad. I bought newspapers in the train station, where I could see articles about the show. I will scan and copy them here, with a proper translation. :D

Distance made : 2054 km
Hours of waiting at the gates : 10 hrs
Show's temperature +200 °C

Well seems that this is my turn....

Ok here I go....

My firt worries were about traffic jam, as this is holidays time for everybody and many people are on the road. But not to Colmar hopefully, I thought. The trip was fine I reached Colmar in less than 6 hours, in company of my little sister, who (you can believe me) WAS RAISED ON ROCK, she didn't have other chances, though. I think I did my best to help her grow sane....

Got there on 2 cars as my friends wanted to spend the week end there, this was also my original plan, but I had to turn back to prepare my trip back to Indonesia. I am a busy guy lately....I like and hate it with its upsides and downsides, but this is another story..... They wanted to see also Judas Priest, me too, though

Well, my sister has always wanted to come in a Scorps show, but this was the right time. I am affraid she won't forget that evening easily, if I know her...I think I do

So we were there in the late morning, so at the hotel they didn't give us the room, so we went for walk in the center. Follow Petite Venise it was time for my second reason of my visit there, having lunch with some Riesling. The small center of Colmar is very familiar as this was my 5 or 6th time there, but it is always a pleasure. The surprise was a very shy sun, whish wasn't foreseen

By this time I sent a sms to Adry, asking ....Are You Ready to rock ??? and he goes....are you in Colmar, so me yes in the center having lunch. I felt him very glad to know I was there, as we didn't speak before, he knew I have been busy lately. Thank you bro for welcoming me there, it is a huge pleasure to share with you the first row, every time

My hotel was in walking distance from Parc Des Expositions, but I took the car... (Sorry Alizee and all french people for my french), by the way at the parking of the hotel there were at least 5-6 cars expressively carrying Scorps fans and this was a pleasure of course, we saluted each other entering the hotel.

Around 16:00 we were at the venue and slowly I could see that the sun was becoming more shy as the hours went by, reaching the maximum of the shyness when I had the third shower of the day in a violent and short temporal. But this is nature, you can never go against it.

It was as natural as Karelia can not open for Scorpions....
As Alizee said it was another band to open. It was not bad if just the singer maybe next time doesn't consider himself better than Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson and James Hetfield together ....

Anyway at 21:05 about f.....g time for a show

We had Storm, Sting, followed by Dynamite and Hurricane later....not that bad, though. The setlist was standard, so with exception of Dynamite for 321 and When The Smoke at the end, don't wanna discuss the setlist, as I don't like to say to others what they have to play for me, I am grateful to Scorpions for hitting the stage for 40 years like NO ONE ELSE.

I also don't wanna stop on the emotional moments during The best is yet to come and Send me an angel, where I saw some brightened eyes around me, I couldn't see my eyes, as I didn't have a mirror with me, though, but.......

I would like to bring here another touching moment for me...
I have always with me a huge italian flag and in a certain point of the show I give it to Klaus, this time he kissed the flag and opened it wide. I know it's not easy for the audience of one country to see the flag of another country on the stage, especially neighbour cuntries, but I say thank you to Colmar audience, cause I didn't hear any disagreement this time.
After a while Klaus in his speech thanked us, italians as other european fans for following the band throughout this european tour and it was so kind of him, well nothing new till here, though
Dear Klaus this doesn't mean that we are not waiting you here in Italy (just a friendly reminder.... )

I enjoyed the show, probably long abstinence.....

And enjoyed even the time spent with all my mates there, my sis, Alizee, Stefy & Ale; Adry & Alessandro, can't wait till next time with all of you and many others

@ Alizee you are very welcome, I wouldn't leave you alone there after midnight, don't say it even for joke, my regards to your sister my Officer...

Alizée, Elton, thank you for your reviews, I loved reading them.
Elton, you were a perfect gentleman to Alizée not to leave her alone in the middle of the night.

Klaus, you are always so careful of thanking other countries' presence also at the shows.

Alizee, Elton, thanks so much for wonderful reviews! I keep telling it again and again, thanks to your sharing to us with your emotions and impressions, I ( all of us) have an opportunity to be virtually at these shows and experience all these magic moments, that you experienced! It's amazing!
Ah.. sorry about the weather, but still I think it didn't spoil the show at all :)
yep, Alizee, for me it was also interesting to watch the last preparations of the stage for scorpios :)
And, I totally agree with Gabi - Etlon acted like a gentlemen! So, dear Elton, I also would like to express my respect to u! :)

   what can I say... young rocker - his blood is too hot

And, Elton, that moment with the Italian flag, that u described... it's just..wow!..so touching -really incredible, magic, precious moment! - I can imagine what u ( and all the Italians at the show) felt then... yeah...Klaus is Klaus... can't stop admiring him for his warmth, kindness and openness to the fans, he really does appreciate us - fans - and it makes him really outstanding person for me! :) ( well, aswell as the others, though :) )
So yeah, it seems that u all had an amazing rockin time at Colmar!( oh, thanks for advertising it also - now I I've added it in my must-visit cities list :) ) and i am really happy for u, I'm happy that there are so many wondrful people i found here thanks to scoprs! They really unite people from all over the world! It's amazing!!!!! :) :) :)
*can't wait for Brussels*
Best wishes, Nadya

It's great to be here, to see you all!

You were lucky I let you have it back, 'cause I kidnapped it for a while :P :P :P
This flagmoment was great, and seing so many countries representatives in our little french venue is cool to me... People who disagree on that are assholes.Music brings people together, wherever they are from. German people never say anything when we come with our french flags in their venues, so should be the same here   I have great memories : holding a part of the italian flag, then my neighbour's french flag, then a russian one during Wind Of Change... Loved it :D

@Nadin : I don't remember the name of the Russian girl. She told me she was living next to Moscow, she put around 14 hours to get in Colmar. She had made cool papers with lovely sentences on it, also offered a present to Klaus. I can describe her : she was around 170 cm tall, had blond short hair ( to the neck), was blue eyed. She also made a small flag. My memory of names sucks :?

I was already going to write u that it was her, my fos mate, cause I already talked to her about this, and she confirmed that it was she... but after reading this message I doubt again  ( cause everything in your description matches with her except one detail - the height :? - I consider her not so tall, but I might be mistaken here  ) - ok, it actually doesn't matter, we'll clear this situation if she finally decides to go to Brussels ( I think she will!) :) :)

Oh yes Nadia, you are totally right, the misterious russian girl may not know about herself as an inwestigation here, sorry for it, anyway lol.

Oh really Nadia?
Are you as so short as we are?
I don't know why, but somehow I imagined you as a tall girl, very tall indeed.
It may be strange for you, but yes, I also always imagine everybody somehow about posts: voice, heigh, hair, etc.
It either exists in reality, or doesn't lol, but I have a quite intensive imagination.
