Good news! We are going to have a wet concert under rain (if the news about the weather is right  ) I hope there's a wind of change tomorrow  (or a "hurricane" ... )

Anyway we will be happily there tomorrow with rain or snow :P

The setlist was this one:

1) Sting In The Tail
2) Make It Real
3) Bad Boys Running Wild
4) The Zoo
5) Coast To Coast
6) The Best Is Yet To Come
7) Holiday
8 ) Raised on Rock
9) Tease Me Please Me
10) Kottak Attack
11) Blackout
12) Six String Sting
13) Big City Nights
14 ) Still Loving You
15) Wind Of Change
16) Rock You Like A Hurricane

At the end, it only rained a little but not during the Scorpions' concert :)

The place was very nice, it was an amphitheater. It was opened during the afternoon so we could see the stage etc. After that we waited some hours at the doors like always... :)
We reached the first row and I felt finally good, without stress  The only "problem" was that the stage was very high... I've never seen so high until now. We were front of Matthias and we could see him well, Klaus too. But I haven't seen so much Rudolf, Pawel and James.
Klaus had a very good voice in this concert¡¡ I was amazed :)
The setlist was short but we had a nice moment anyway.

Can't wait to see them for the 9th time in Geneva

I'll put the pictures later on my Facebook if you want to see.

My review of the day 8) :

We arrived in the morning in avenches, a beautiful historical town with castles and many things to visit, and also the roman theatre where the concert would take place. The place was open when we arrived and there were some people watching the soundcheck so we sat and saw and watch Ingo and the rest testing everything.

We met Andrea and another friend of her, another swiss scorps fans and we waited later till the doors were open.

As Emilie said the stage was so so high and I can say it was the only problem, because the opening bands and the scorpions had a fantastic sound.
We were able to buy the new tour t-shirt, beautiful one!

The festival was very well organized, there were many tents to buy food, drinks, clothes, jewellery, they put a big bar, good work really.

The first band we saw was: the swiss Bernie Constantin. He had a fantastic musicians with him and they played a short but interesting set. I've always been a little "afraid" of listening rock with lyrics in french, but I must say I enjoyed the show. Though when you saw the man appearing on the stage, he looked so thin, that in your mind you though: "he will fall down before the show is over", but he kick my ass. They were a good band.

Later we were supposed to see the band Arno, but something must had happened, because we saw Karelia instead. I am not very friend of metal, so is difficult for me to enjoy it. But is a matter of taste of course, because I think Karelia has good musicians. During the show they told us that our Rudy will appear on one song of their new album as a guest playing guitar.

Then we waited for the scorpions, and the open air theatre was now full, with no seat available.
They started at 23 20 as I said they had a great sound and they seemed very happy. No surprises in the setlist but one: it was too short. But I am not going to complain about it, in a few years I know I would kill to see this show again. And I am not looking for discussions, but really, I do not know if I have different ears, but I don't understand the complaints about Klaus voice, he does a hard and good work and to me he sounded amazing, as the rest of them, they sound like a very solid band.

A few negative things to say:
some publicity company gave free inflatable balls, and during the shows of the opening bands they were throwing them to the stage, ,
We were sure that it will happen too in the part of the scorpions, and yeah it happened! :D you can never loose your trust in the stupidity of some people  because during the best is yet to come a big ball hit Matthias while he was concentrate playing a solo, and for a second he had a frightened face not knowing what had happened. But well...

Similar happened to Klaus, he received a flag when still loving you was starting, and when he was starting to sing, the same people launch him a pen that hit him in the chest    ...

But well Klaus is Klaus and when he had time he even signed the flag

maybe I look like an old grumpy man, but I think the first thing to do in a concert is to respect the musicians, but well leaving that behind, we had a great show.

See you in Geneve and Brussels!!! (and maybe more)

Emilie, Diego, thank you for your reviews, I liked reading them.

No Diego, you aren't an old, grumpy man at all, I totally agree with you, share your opinion.
Human idiotizm really doesn't have any limit.
Yes, I also think that we (fans) maximally should respect the musicians' job at the concerts, finally they do the shows for our pleasure, entertaining, nobody has right of ruining it.
And believe me, this idiot thought about her/himself that she/he was so cool, funny, witty. :mrgreen
