This note was funny, but no worries Marta.
You aren't alone with this position.
My arms are also always in the air during the Scorps performances.

Part 2: The Saturday, before the concert

At 1000 AM, Marta and I had to pick up Adriano and Marco at Frankfurt airport. It's a 2 hour drive so we left around 0800 AM. After having parked the car, Marta and I went to find Adriano in terminal 1. Marco had sent a message that he was going to find us there, but after some time we found out he was meaning "please come and find me, it's so big here, I will get lost". So we took a kind of airport metro and went to find Marco in terminal 2. After going back to terminal 1 we had to find the car back. Considering how many times we almost got lost the day before in Würzburg it is almost a miracle that we found back the car so easily. While doing all those kilometers on the airport, Marco and Adriano were confirming all prejudices about Italians who like to talk all the time. Marta and I also had to wait all the time, because they were getting behind. We decided to call them "Lazy Italians" in stead of "Crazy Italians".

The road back to Schweinfurt took 3 hours, due to some typical German traffic jam. But it seemed shorter, because Marta was being a perfect DJ on that trip so that we got in the mood for a concert already. In Schweinfurt, we first took a quick, balanced and nutricious lunch before leaving for the stadion. We must have arrived there around 1400, and found Alizee and Mline, who were occupying a place at the gates since 1000 AM already. After some time, the 3 musketeers and the beauty, choose themselves another gate to wait for the doors to open. It was a bit further away than the one our French friends had chosen, but we were still the first at that one. 8)

I don't remember exactly when the doors were opened, a part of my memory must have been erased after the afterparty in Bielefeld...
But when they opened we all started running, and running, and running...
There were separation barriers around the "pit" in front of the stage, and unlike usually, you could only enter the "pit area" from one side. And most of us had choosen the wrong (left) side without entrance. While I was going back (all the way around the separation barriers) I saw Marta entering the "pit-zone" and hitting the barrier in front of the stage as the first one of the whole stadion. Shortly after that all of us could join and find a place in the 1st and 2nd rows. The waiting for Edguy could begin.

Part 3: Edguy

After some time of waiting in the sun, with nothing to drink or eat, Edguy came on stage. It was a normal stage, without T, which made the Edguy concert much more enjoyable than the other times I'd seen them as support of Scorpions (from at the end of the T...). It is a different experience when you are close to the artists.

The only bad thing about Edguy was that it was too short. I think I enjoyed the concert even more than the last time I saw them in Mons (on a festival). They really would have deserved a bit more time... Toby was really playing the crowd very well and making funny jokes all the time. Like during "Save me" he suddenly stopped singing and when the crowd didn't sing loud enough, he said someting like "Nonono, you're not going to get away with it that easy Schweinfurt. First there has to be some hard work before you guys are allowed rock like a hurricane. Rudolf is listening backstage and we don't want to dissapoint him, do we?". He was saying funny things like that all the time. To my feeling, a lot of his stage act, and even some of the music makes me think a lot of Iron Maiden. But that's not bad of course. Iron Maiden is one of my favourite bands.

After Edguy, it was waiting for Scorpions.

Part 4: Scorpions

After some waiting, but not as long as for this part 4  , Scorpions came on stage.
They went through the usual songs we all know from previous concerts. When looking at my left side, it was touching to see how genuinly happy and enthousiastic Alizee was. I never really get emotional from the music or anything, but seeing how happy it can make some people, is doing something with cold blooded me. After Coast to coast as usual Klaus gave his plectrum to one of the pretty girls in the front. This time it was Mline who was the chosen one. I did have the feeling he must have thought she had to be the artist who made that beautiful banner . Mline is a real artist artist and she also looks like one.

From when I heard it the first time, in April 2010 in Mons, untill now, The best is yet to come has really become a well known and appreciated singalong song at concerts. I also always like the acoustic part after that (did someone say something about a rockbeast?  ). Unfortunately my livestream of Holiday went wrong due to technical difficulties.Dynamite was not only distorted on the phone, Adriana, it also sounded a bit, I don't know, overamplified or something where your reporter was.
To be honest, the Kottak attack is already boring me a bit after some concerts. I know the rest of the concert is also always the same, but especially this part is, for me, really a kind of break in the concert. But I guess that is what the function of it is, to give the other bandmembers a short break/rest about halfway the concert. But the good thing of the drumsolo is that you know, after it, one of the highlights of every concert is coming.
Big City Nights was streamed to Lenita, because of the pyramid connection. And the sound was very clear during this song, yes.

It must have been during one of the usual "Zugaben" that Alizee and Mline wanted to tell me something but I didn't understand. Finally Alizee said "launch it!" and then I understood they wanted me to throw the banner on the stage. I found the audience very enthousiastic and participating, and we also got "When the smoke is going down". Normally it was finished after that, but the people kept shouting and clapping their hands, in or out rhythm. I saw Rudy and Klaus talking, and then Rudy went to talk to someone backstage, and they came back one more time, and played "Always somewhere". It was not written on the setlist so it was really a Zugabe in the true meaning of it. That was really a nice gesture of them, and of all the Scorps concerts I've been to, if any crowd deserved it, it was this one. Especially during this last song, I wanted to call someone's number, but the line wasn't free, just like in the song. That's partly why, after the show, I had to make a short call home, before we could leave for Bielefeld, I hope my travel companions didn't mind too much the waiting. 8)

When I find some time, I will try to write something short about Berlin as well. :?

hey! this concert in Schweinfurt was truly amazing! I waited there for about 5hours, it was sooooo hot! So I decided to get a beer.and then another one...which should be already enough for my belly and I usually go to the toilet 3times while having 2beers. but when i finally decided that I really had to go to pee, Edguy started performing. I really didn't want to move at this time, because I had the best position ever(1m from the stage!!) and I would never have a chance to get back to that place cause there were sooo many people. So i had to hold it.i thought to myself: oh well, u've got trousers.worst think that can happen is to get my jeans a bit wet. but then the SCORPIONS came in and all I could thinkof was them and I really forgot about my need! that was sooooo amazing :P cause I was scared that i would think only about goin' to the wc, but thankfully I didn't and had the best best best time of my life there, specially because I could notice Mathhias glancing at me really often cause I was like the only blonde in my neighbourhood or something ;P that was incredible!
