Exactly! When you are all non-native speakers in a company, the language is not an issue at all. You´re just happy to be understood

Yes, it's absolutely truth.
Who cares of speaking English perfectly when we understand each other by our mistakes also?

Oh yeah, I also would be curious of those stories of Klaus about the very old times.

OK - here are some old stories Klaus told me at Museum Huelsmann: First of all he was very interested in the old gig posters from the 70s - they seemed to bring back quite some memories; when he saw the poster from Minden 1974 (Minden is a city about 30 miles south of Hannover) he said that he thought ´Well we finally made it - a show in Minden at the ´Grille´; you must know that the capacity at this venue was max. 300 visitors! And of course Klaus spoke about the concert in Bielefeld at the ´Badewanne´ in the early 70s; at the end of this show he tried some early form of stagediving; he fell into the audience, injured his head and he had to be brought to the local hospital - he still has a scar on the back of his head!

hey guys - trust me, your english is WAY better than many of the "native speakers" i know & certainly a lot better than my german , or french, or italian, or polish, or dutch , or any other language for that matter 8)
So many english speakers are soooo lazy & make no effort to even try any one else's language  I speak some (very bad) German (& most of the people I know are amazed that I can "speak foreign" ) but there's no way I could write the amazing, atmospheric, dramatic & funny reviews that you guys have done in german or any other language. I'm always blown away by how brilliantly you all write in english on tha forum all the time anyway.

so thank you all of you :D you all rock 8)

I had English for 9 years at school, it'd be difficult to not speak English at least a bit

Maureen, thank you for your conpliment evenif I don't deserve it as much as so many other non-native speakers, just because of my catastrofic misspellings, but I am not able to memorize some rules in the written part, eventhough I want to.

Thank you Heiko for sharing your stories! I also didn't know about the accident Klaus had..

And thanks everybody for the reviews!! I had to read them again, so enjoyable they are. Special thanks to the selfless volunteer #1 for taking the time to write all those parts. I think this says it all:

@Maureen: thank you so much, for making the effort to look through the glasses of the non-native speakers, and for your nice words. It means a lot to us all!!
