^I also like Jenni Vartiainen, I have seen her once in a concert. Lets just hope it isn`t raining on a concert time, like weather report assumes.

Ouh! Great! Then probably we'll meet there :D - I think it'll be easy to recognize me - I'll be with signed russian flag and ( I hope I'll manage to do this) a scorpion on the cheek
And... never say never - I also thought that St Peters show was the only one for me - but it wasn't as it turned out :)

Ok nice, maybe we´ll see there, i will probably wear my Iron Maiden shirt (infidel  ). And here´s also my new profile picture, especially for Lennu, no more army look. 8)

:) :) :) Yeaaahhh!!! I just came back from Saimaa gig! And now all I can say is FANTASTIC!!!!! The most exiting and, breathtaking show!!! :D Well, the full detailed report and pix will be later( I;ll create a separate topic for it, I think), as now I must get some rest after 2 restless nights, but shortly - it was a real kicking ass show!!!
I've got so much positive energy and love from them!!! Just awesome!!!!!!
Wooooww!!! I'm so overwhelmed with the emotions, that can't even fin words to describe my feelings... A HURRICANE OF EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!
THEY PERFORMED "THE GOOD DIE YOUNG" with Tarja ( ha! Lenita, our guesses were right :D :D !)
And they all were in a perfect fit, they rocked us like a hurricane!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, there was one negative moment there - just exactly in the end of BSN Mattias stumbled and feld down of the stage :( , that even couldn't get up for a while :( ( his technic and Klaus helped him to get up then... :( ). OMG... I didn't even realized at first that it was real fall, and I think nobody did, but when he couldn't get up and remained laying motionless, at that moment my heart fell down... I thought that something serious had happened with Mattias... I was really scared at that moment ( not for that the show was over - then I was just sure that it was so unhappy end of that amazingly started and lasted show - but for Mattias himself, as for a person, who became almost relative for me)... But fortunately he got up and left backstage limping...and afterwards the others said "thank u!" and followed him ( I started to prepare for leaving)....And... HE CAME BACK!!! ( oh, thanks God,it meant that the injury was not so serious), the all came back and finished the show on the highest note, despite Mattias was hurt badly...INCREDIBLE!!! this is the real professionalism, the real love to their job, to the fans... they are real friends and team - it's wonderful!!! THERE"S NO ONE LIKE U , SCORPIONS!!!I have no words...I'm amazed and except MY DEEPEST RESPECT TO MATTIAS AND SCORPS!!! I DO APPRECIATE WHAT U DID FOR US ON SAIMAA SHOW!!! U ARE THE BEST!!!! MY KOTOW TO U!!! AND THANKS A LOT FOR THIS AMAZING SHOW!!!!! For me it was the best!!!!( omg, i have tears on my eyes while writing this....)
And else, I hope the Mattias really got not serious injury and it won;t prevent him to play on today's and the following shows :| ...
So, the other details later, i have to sleep .....please wait a bit, as now i'm absoletly exhausted ....
Best wishes, Nadya

Wow Nadin  I didn't notice anything last night in Tuuri, Matthias didn't limb or anything or he didn't show it. He was having fun on stage :D
(The others might have noticed something but I didn't.)

The concert in Tuuri was great nad Scorps got to play the whole set and were almost in time. Two bands before them weren't so lucky. The weather, thunder and heavy rain :?, caused some problems. They had to shut down the power on stage and so on and after the thunder they had to dry the stage and put everything on place.
My shoes aren't even dry yet
I'll write more later :)

Oh, Nightsky1, thanks for ur report! - Thanks God Matt is alright :D -that's a good news! :D :D
And sorry for the weather :( ( thanks God it didn;t prevent scorps performing :) ) - yeah, in Saimaa we were more lucky - as though there were some dark clouds around and I even heard thunder, fortunately God heard my prayers and all there thunderstorms passed us by, and the weather was great :) !
And thanks everyone for replying for my short emotional rewiev - I think the full one will be ready in a couple of days ( today and tomorrow I'm too busy with the moving to a new flat.....). And then I'll put my pix and videos on my FB account!!!
Best wishes, Nadya

Matthias is the ultimate professional. He has played with a patch on his eye due to almost losing it to a thrown lighter, he has fallen flat on his back on stage, he has cut his finger so badly he lost his fingernail, he broke his right hand, etc and STILL has continued to play! He told me that he couldn't disappoint his fans by calling off any show despite his injuries. Point is, that man may be hurt, but rest assured he will NEVER call off a show!!!
With that said, pray for him. He's older folks, he looks good, but when you get older, the body betrays you and being as athletic as he was, that starts to take it's toll on your bones and muscles. You can't see it, cuz he is the consumate pro and doesn't show it, but he is aging. And it's sad. I am concerned about him and like I said in another topic; IT'S TIME!!

Bluegoldangel - BCN= Big City Nights ( oh, gosh, just now I see that I typed it with S... sorry - i read again that my post and found so many mistakes in it.... sorry onse again - i was on emotions and very tired then... ) And i'm happy that u were with your dog that day - the destiny always gives us the signs...
@Cristy... omg - at first i thought that u listed the injuries that Mattias got in that fall in finland...uff..And i totally agree with u that he IS AN ULTIMATE PROFESSIONAL! He proved it once again, and he deserved my deepest respect and appreciation, as well as the others, for caring about him ( I saw Klaus' face when he came to help Mattias to get up - he was extremely worried about him, and after, when he sang SLY, he even sang the wrong line also because of the worry about Mattias, as he  often looked at him,a and checked if he was ok... - this is an example of the real friendship and caring of each other....). Of course, they all are aging, but , i think, they're all still in a good shape!

@ Cristy: I was thinking those past injuries he has had...I didn't know about falling down in Saimaa Open Air before I was at home after the concert in Tuuri and reading Nadin's writing. He covered the possible injury very well because nothing gave it off. He seemed like he was enjoying...He is a real professional, I hope he isn't badly injured...

I was at the concert in second row in front of Matthias but there were two cameras blocking the view on stage. It was difficult to take pictures because of the cameras

Ooops Nightsky, sorry about making it sound as tho he got those injuries that nite. No, they all happened along his rock and roll journey!! It's being said that he fell over stage equipment and that he's not hurt, just embarrassed! But we don't know what exactly happened. Even Nadin doesn't know and she saw it.
But no, he has never allowed an injury affect his performance and he is simply an amazing man and musician!! I am still concerned about him cuz you don't just take a spill like that, and forgive me M, at that age and not have it affect you!! So I hope and pray he takes this week and a half to rest and get his body better. It had to have hurt, regardless!! :?
I know he knows how much he is loved tho and how many thousands are deeply concerned about him and send their love and prayers!!

And Klaus is very very sensitive to his brothers!! I am sure that he was worried sick about MJ!! But they go on! I remember in Costa Mesa in 2008, they were discussing cancelling Tucson, cuz Matthias had cut his finger badly cutting sausage. It got so bad, it kept bleeding and he had to keep changing bandages and eventually, he lost his fingernail!! But Matthias, is freakin superman and tells the boys not to cancel Tucson!! He didn't want to disappoint his fans. And inspite of being in horrible pain, (they cancelled the afterparty cuz of it in Costa Mesa), he still played the rest of the tour. I remember a fan asking in Tucson at the M&G how MJ was and MJ said not good, much pain!!! But the boys were willing to cancel the shows for MJ's sake. The love and bonding of those 3 is nothing short of incredible!!

:x :!:
COULD YOU FINISH YOUR DRAMA-PERFORMANCE about Matthias, Christy?
EVERYBODY EXACTLY HAS ALREADY KNOWN THE STORIES OF HIS INJURIES.We all have our simpathies with Matthias, but fortunately, he is much better, and it is the most important thing.
You should get to the Hidepark one day Christy, then you would be allowed to speak about Matthias as much as you want to.
