On general request:

Part 5: Afterparty

After the show, we first hung around in the park a bit, to refuel our internal human being with solid and liquid combustibles.
Because it was her birthday, Marta had brought a genuine Polish bottle of wodka, and it would have been really nice if she could share it with Pawel. Especially because the poor lad has probably been deprived from original Polish wodka for a long time already. Unfortunately we did not manage to locate where Pawel and the other band members were.

So we had a bit of a problem. None of us wanted to export this high octane fuel back outside the country. Who knows what the Bielefeld polizei might say of that. How to solve this? Luckily Marta found 3 selfless volunteers who were prepared to sacrifise themselves to solve this problem. While solving the problem, we tried to learn each other some words of our languages, and also to get rid of some prejudices that exist about certain peoples. So it is said that Italians are women thiefs. We can at least say that they are not only that now. We could say some things about other peoples as well, but we have no(t yet) photographic evidence of that, so we prefer to remain silent.
Two untrained elements had to give up after 2 or 4 glasses, and in the end it was only Marta and Marco who were remaining to solve the problem. We took this as proof that Marco has to have Polish blood, and we call him Marcoslaw from now on (or Marcek for the friends).

I just want to mention a friend of mine, Martin, who flew from Canada to Bielefeld and surprised the boys with some of the most amazing exquisite Scorpions daggers!! They loved them and there are pix of them on FB. Martin and wife, Sue, were treated as VIP's and given the royal treatment before AND after the show. Hung out with the boys and Alex, being the main one who made it all possible, along with Paul of In Trance, for them to have this fantasy made real!!! What a dream, what an incredible trip and they even went to MJ Guitars later. Great photos of all of this are on his FB. Not to mention, Martin is a fantastic knife craftsman. So "Friend" Martin Dutremble and support his enterprise.

Hans, your style of writing makes me laugh every time. I wish I could go to a concert in Europe some time just so I could see what you would write about me. (Would make me a little scared, though... ) I'm glad you all had such a great time again!

1-
ok, Bielefeld review now. I'll make it short, because Marta and Hans have already made a great job :D

Distance made : 312 km
Time to go : around 4 hours

The after-concert of Schweinfurt was kind of difficult. Difficult to drive and to focus on it, even the postconcert beer didn't help waking us up.
Our Gps showed us a weird way, which was supposed to be shorter. We were lost on small contryside roads in the middle of a huge forest, and there were hard turns. I was driving during this passage, and I have to admit, I was clutched to the wheel hoping it wouldn't last long. What a relief to be back on a motorway to Kassel
When arrived in Bielefeld, it took some time to find the hotel, then some time for a guy to open the hotel front door... We had a short rest - around 3 hours - but enough to be completely rested and fresh for the next concert ! We left for the Ravensberger Park early and arrived there around 9:30 am, and waited, waited, waited. Everybody could get in and watch the stage building, it was nice. We met a guy of the technical team who wished us " good luck" for our waiting under the rain. We were lucky though because it only rained one time. We inspected the park, in order to find out, how many entrances there were, where we could wait and so on. My mother asked for a tickets checkin point to a couple, and they answered in French ! :D We spent, then, our time telling our different stories to one another, and time passed by in a quicker way. We found, at last, the entrance, where was waiting 2 french fans again, the mother and the daughter, who appeared to be a James fan ?!
Then around midday we met Hans, Marta, Marco and Adriano. We visited Heiko's Scorpions Museum, which was really good. What a great job to have collected all this rare stuff... Thank you Heiko, for you kindness, your passion, and your speaking english too. I managed to get some sentences in German, but I enjoyed the English version as well
As Marta said, we took some photos with Michael Schenker's guitar, and wrote some words in the guestbook... Nice time," back to the roots" !

Big pause til the concert....

We reached the entrance, because we knew it won't be long until they put everyone's outside the park. We met there a nice german girl fan, I'm ashamed I forgot her name. :?
They opened the gates quite early, around 16:30 I think. Again we ran. But this time I ran fast ! I remember overtaking people from the other entrances ( there were three entrances closer to the stage) I reached the first row at our usual place ! YEA ! Maybe I run better in the mud than in the grass like in Schweinfurt  Mom ran fast too, cause she came next to me a few seconds later. The German girl and her Polish friend managed to be next to us too. On the other side, I saw Hans, Marta, Adriano and Marco, managed to get in the first places as well. Everything was fine, I was happy.

My Inner Burning

Well, I thought I was going to be deaf. The band wasn't bad at all, so was the singer, but, it sounded so loud. We couldn't even hear the singer properly, except during one ballad she sang. I hid my ears and the only thing I could hear was the drumming and the bass. The stage and the ground were trembling, the security guy in front of me looked rather sick. Fortunately, it didn't last long. And the Scorpions came rapidly.
Once again, Great show....

2- 's coming soon, time to have lunch !

2-
Lunch time's over !

So another awesome Scorpions' performance this night in Bielefeld... I think the audience was rocking harder in Schweinfurt, but that's a detail.
Again, great night ! We wondered whether they'd be tired or not because of Schweinfurt concert but, definitely, they were not ! :D They came back a third time to sing Always Somewhere, as they did the day before...
So another Viele Dank !

This time we weren't in a hurry because we planned to leave Germany on the 19th. So we stayed in the park a little bit longer. I bought a "Sting In The Tail" t-shirt and a Bandana... I didn't know sizes in German, so I just managed a " the smallest, bitte" which was, fortunately, fine. We drank some beers and a pizza there, and then we were on our way to the hotel. We found it quickly by luck, sometimes beers help  .

Next morning, we found Hans in the reception room of the hotel, were he told us he'd have to leave. We had time to have lunch together though in a nice restaurant in the "old Bielefeld"
German food let me a good souvenir :D We ate very well too in Köln, when we were on our way back to home.
After lunch, we went and saw Marta which was waiting in the train station. Hans left us, and we drank tea with Marta before leaving as well. We had time to go shopping, go in a Rock Café, and get lost too.

We didn't feel like leaving on the 19th, it was like we were already at home, only after one week.
We passed by Köln, visited the cathedral, and a music store ( sightseeing in Köln lol )ate again.
Then everything seemed so boring, the highways, the motorway tollboothes. I nearly had a stress crisis while I was driving on the Paris ring roads at 2 am... I have never seen such a mess.
Well, back at home, but ready for others departures !!!!

2 huge concerts, really.
Germany, we love you :D :D Great places and people.

Thank you Alizee for your review! :D Really, you got lost in Bielefeld? I thought that I'm the one who can get lost everywhere  As Hans said, it's a miracle, we found the way in the airport in Frankfurt. I guess such challenges made my brain work faster :P

Aha, now I'll be remembered as the girl from Poland who defeated in drinking 3 adult men. Nope, it wasn't like this  The stereotypes are bad, we all agreed with it :P

And it was only 0,5liter of vodka, come on! There were 4 of us!
..aa, I must add that I drank vodka with the water from a tap only 2 times in my life. It's the hardcore version. Good job!

Alizée, your review is fantastic, I so enjoyed reading it, thank you my friend.
You so deserved this whole adventure with Mline, you needed good experiences.

Hahaha lol Marta, thus: the voddka was 0,5L, there were four people to share it.
It means for me: the boys drank 1DL/head, and you, our Marta drank 2DL hehehehe. So, you wonn the competition, don't deny it.
