Thx Scott for your post. I had to laugh when you said that over in those countries they are rockstars, but here they are just another rock band. And actually due to the lack of promo and everything else, they are less than another rock band. We had our Summerfest this last weekend and I talked to a lot of musicians due to having 2 days of rock bands playing the park. Well, you know what I am going to say next. Only ONE person knew that Scorps still toured and had a recent album. And that doesn't even count towards ppl I talk to everyday that are surprised that Scorps were in Denver last year.
I am going to say sthg that is going to piss ppl off but if I can't voice my opinion then screw it. While it makes me sad that they are finally done and I won't be able to see them after next year, it's time. I can't imagine how their bodies feel, how Klaus' singing feels now. They all have battled injuries, esp MJ, in the last few years, Klaus has battled sickness.....it's time people!! It's like letting our pets go out of compassion, we need to let them go out of love and compassion. They are OLDER now, they can't do what they used to do. Be sad, but don't make them feel bad cuz they have decided to leave the stage. You young ppl can't begin to imagine what it's like to live in an older body, no matter how much Rudolf works out. It gets harder to heal and harder to get out there every nite. Why do you think they don't have dates for all of those months this year? Except for James, none of them are doing anything that we know of. Why do you think MJ doesn't email his fans anymore or show up at things that the others are at? Let them go! It's time!!!! Besides, they aren't known here anymore anyway and get just a few really good shows. Anyway, they started retiring from N.A. long before they announced it. IT'S TIME!

I'm a member on this forum because I share my enthusiasm for the band , and never tire of learning about music ( Ted , Scott ..... you guys know what your talking about ).I miss the fun I used to have here . I miss MJFanatic, the LOVELY KATHLEEN , Sherry and MJscorpsfantic. I send a " HAIL" to those that have not been here for so long , and have managed to hang on because this is where I have the biggest interest . Christy knows so much about the band and MJ . Many others that have been here in the past have attacked her for having a connection with MJ. I too attacked Cristy because of her negative posts about MJ . But I have never gotten ugly with her because she has a close connection with him . I must say I envied her at times because God knows how many emails Iv'e sent him , and he has only answered a few.
I hope that MJ is sapporting you Cristy for your endless efforts that you have put forth for him . You are phenominal in promoting his buisness , and are excellent in public communications . There are many Buisnessmen that would hire you in heart-beat. You could sell a Volkswagon to the Amish , or a hair dryer to a buddist preist.
