Thank you very much Kristof for the pisc, Hans and Philip for the reviews.

@Philip: I was very surprised to see how few songs they played  But you got Dynamite and No one like you, I guess those count for more :D  And it's always similar with me, like with you..I say that I won't pay more money for the same songs but then they announce a concert where so many friends are going, and....

I am so sorry you missed Foreigner Hans...

HANS33 wrote:That always happens to me. In the supermarket I also always pick the slowest queue...

HANS33 wrote:Not because I thought Philip might be thirsty. Nono. People who know Philip, know he never lets it come to the point of being thirsty

I had never thought about that btw, that when you carry drinks they let you pass easier. Talking about being sneaky. I'll see if it works here too.

Lennu wrote:I couldn´t agree more with Adriana. You, Hans, have a talent of making the ordinary simple things look like an adventure, and I have a feeling that I miss a lot NOT sharing those adventures with you

Yes, he sure has... 8)
Thanks again Hans!

Like Belgian newspaper "De Morgen" said: "Judas Priest juggle, Scorpions dissapoint".

Other newspaper "Het Laatste Nieuws" said: "Scorpions still can sting".

The difference between those two?: editor of "De Morgen" is deaf. ;)

Katerina yes the setlist was to short , Dynamite was great , no one like you to , dont get me wrong I have a great time , I sing(scream) along from the beginning to the end and it was good , but they had so many opurtunity to do more with it and they dont (shame shame) at my work they say it was good but why so short.

Wilhelm about the newspaper so dit it before the show .

And yes I say Brussels will be the last but maybe I change my mind.

But dammed I still angry why they dit not more

whaaa finaly some review parts ;-)
tx for the early reviews they rock !!!!

a great morning has broken until the FOS wanted to get reunited again....music brings peoples together awesome
a special car took us to the right place...I took kavr with me...and just followed the road...it was highway to hell...or no no it was avantasia tunes that suddenly sounded great to sing along...and we just followed the road...helll come on we had to turn over we missed the sideway due to amusement (no savage amusement or lovedrive my dear ones ;-) so it took longer and a huge traffic jam took almost all our cd's on track.
Hans needed to be informed but however it was useless. The tourbus of Journey guided us to our parking...although it seems we will skip some bands today ;-) BUT we gonna rock we gonna roll all night long, let's rock.....

A parking for the Fos and here we go...Philip is a great guy he went to check the area inside, meanwhile we checked it outside !!! what a place... 145.000 peoples will be here for 3 days ...and 75 bands will play ! SCORPIONS headlining
the bus just arrived we had a quick look, 2 special tvchannels followed scorpions today for the special dvd so i think they just spotted the family of spiders flag to find the entrance of the artists ;-))
Very friendly girls...yes girls with huge cameras on their shoulders (no groupies ;-))
It had no sence to wait for the band because we wanted to see music alive this time !!!
We knew about interviews and all media interesse but however it's a festival so go for it

part 2

this metal festival is huge in europe it's the small brother of Wacken !!

i missed my first band:
dio's disciples...so i need to deal with it
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/dio-disci ... 30038.html

We checked out to find Hans and great he spotted us ;-) even Jess could join us easely due to the hitech of 2011 ;-)
Band Journey surprised me...it's also not so metal but the whole metal area could apreciate so urly the tunes and great sound !! top !!
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/journey/2 ... 304af.html

stone in love and edge of the moment were class act !!!
time to recover with some belgian specialities beer and frites...
next band to feel !!! Volbeat !!!
we took the challenge to find a place in front because Scorpions will be the next band.. Amazing music but i almost body builded for more then one hour due to all crowsurfers..damned...scary and dangerous... But i must confess Volbeat is that kind of band who took the whole festival area into their music !!!

My revieuw,

I will start on the Monday before,i was getting sick,...almost couldn't stand working till evening...so i went to doctor,i had 39,1°fever,...oh no,it really couldn't be,... I had to stay home for the rest of the week,...hoping for a recovery by Friday,...on Wednesday night i had suddenly again high fever,...good the next day a little bit better, then i discover that one of the painkillers the doctor gave me ,you can get fever,... so i immediateley stop it! ,...Lucky on Friday i was better, but we had to wait until school finish to take the kids to my mom before we could leave,...We started our trip ,when we approaching Antwerp we get stuck in the traffic,...normally it should take 2 hours to reach, now we drove 3hours 45 to get there,...It was over 8 pm when we entered the festival ground,we decided to eat first something, after sending an sms where to look for everyone of the FOS  ...When we're approaching the front Volbeat started, everyone full of energy, jumping ,pushing and Crowdsurfing,so wild audience, constandly helping people passing over our heads,...it was immedialy warm of the exercises  ,suddenly we saw the Flag 10meters in front of us,getting closer and closer, then 5 meters,...and finally we could reach Ron,totally exhaused of all the traffic from land and air  Volbeat was then still palying for another 20min,...we counting the minutes  We saw there Jantje as well,...After Volbeat Hans and Philip showed up ext to us,......

final part ;-)

we came for Scorpions and we got them....
the audience was awesome for this band we could count on the new generation !! I discussed about and many of them just appriciate the full carreer of the band and need to see them now...Many international fans came over i spoke with a young fan of Spain who followed the band also for years and he screamed out for more concerts in Spain ;-))
countdown...yes the full Fos was reunited in front after the battle zone we got the rockzone !! we asked for it so !!
Jess,Hans ,Philip and hell yeah our Kristof screamed out to rock again...
1.5 hours to check so easy to see the full stage setup and Ingo was not too shy to give us the full attention great !! Even Marcel (son of Rudolf) checked ;-) i saw him already in the afternoon so seems he's full time on the road with dad maybe he's looking to manage something ;-)))))
yeah jumping and singing countdown...
black black black and screaming audience whaaaaaa it's time !!!!
usual start with video and san berna(n)dino....but a full metal loaded powered James on top of Drums !!
Sting in the tail again a heavy begin and running band all over..
a fast turn into Make it real... but a realy nice performing of Klaus still trying to speak some language of the country :respect !!
Bad boys running well they all run very hard and Realy Rudolf did a marathon this evening...
The zoo had his battlezone also for the drumsticks...and Jess got one ,Klaus wanted almost everyone to get ...(50000) ;-))
coast to coast had the real metalmusic inside the festival on track they liked Rudolf and Matthias in front doing the full sting and Pawel ,Klaus followed
Loving you sunday morning took the atmosphere away but the best is yet to come took the crowd awake and it was very good performed !!

rock on
Raised on rock had a good sing along with the young fans also !!
Klaus said he remembers belgium as the first country they did a 'international' performing so...it started here..we know!!
Tease me ...is a cheese song but rocks because it took us needless to DYNAMITE well we all FOS got a look to eachother unbelievable but it sounded awesome it was that kind of rock we needed a whole night long for this metal evening.. the Cameras spotted us directly with our FOS flag in the audience so we uploaded our copyrights for the future ;-)) Jantje and his crew were totaly in trance..
the Kottak Attack is too long and gave us a break... but again it was blackout who was powerfull with full pyro and special guitar and mask just crazy but the musicfever got the heavymetalfans awake...up to six string sting for me good but i realy realy want to see more guitarsolo's and Matthias can do it i saw it in Dortmund last year when the battled with Michael Schenker on stage !!!
Big city was a family song..so countdown again...
Pawel and Rudolf came many times playing for us even Matthias checked the public and even stopped playing to point at Kristof....amazing....with a Matthias smileeeeeeee...
SLY was just a lovemoment ;-) and broadcasted... but now now No one like you...Matthias took his time to find some nice girls to sing along the lyrics and you know how it goes...hmmmm...
final final final pyros and many fire....RYLAH.....endless running and James went totaly nuts...Rudolf kissed his guitar during the whole show so no kisses in the backstage i guess....

the moment came we all had a good time but too short and for me this is not that kind of festival the band need to play but but they filmed during the whole show on stage that was a little boring ...a nice dvd should be coming even they took many close shots !!!
The band i think didn't took the whole area into their music but respect for the show it was nice even the screens had special messages for belgium...
We all took a nice FOS break and realy this was a great moment we all shared together with the same feeling of....Philip we know and...we will rock again...longer ...
Jess,Jantje,Philip,Kristof,Hans,..we enjoyed the beers frites , a hard goodbye to everyone..ohhhh we need to ake a FOSpicture.....but it was hard to find someone 'sober' isn't it at 2.30 night but we managed....and hope the best is yet to come for sure to be continued....
ps;Klaus maybe looked a bit tiried but he did it very good ...cu all soon...

ha! Thx Ruta!!

@Cameleon, there is a difference between playing the first international show, to BECOMING international. Back then, which is at a time that I lived personally, it was a known fact that nobody became FAMOUS until they came to the States. When M. Schenker came here and saw what we offered in the music industry, he told Rudolf that the boys HAD to come here to get the fame they were looking for. So there is a difference in what Klaus meant and what I meant.

I now if you want to come international you have to get true the states , but what Klaus said and mean , was it was there start , to small clubs beside Germany and Belgium was there first , at that moment they have a Belgium drummer (Rudy Lenners) it was there start to there cariere outside Germany , and he tell that he never forget it , so yes after Germany Belgium came even for the UK and yes to me the UK the biggest country for music , when you get to the UK than you of the road .
